I'm not sure most people would say 2. Though 2 is better than 1, as 1 suffered more from being an indi film. But Army Of Darkness is really the one most people reference and think of when referring to the franchise. For a lot of us, this movie was our introduction to the franchise, and we had to seek out parts 1 and 2 after learning that it is a sequel.

Luckily the channel showed it again a few days later and saw it from the start. It was everything I hoped it was. Crazy fun and adventure. The skeleton army tribute to Ray Harryhausen made my day. So far, no reactor has ever picked up on Bruce's "Moe Howard" "Why You" when he's attacked in the pit. Being a Three Stooges fan, I roared at this line. True story, when my brother, sister and i saw this in a 1/2 filled movie theater, my brother and I were the only two in the place laughing our heads off. I think the rest of the audience hadn't seen the first two movies and couldn't figure out what they were sitting through.

Before the multiplayer game there is Evil Dead: Hail To The King (Sega Dreamcast, PS1), that takes place after the ending of Army of Darkness. There's also a direct sequel called Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick on PS2 and Xbox. And there's also Evil Dead: Regeneration (PS2, Xbox), which is more of a What If? sequel - What If Ash never went back in time? ;) =)
There's a deleted scene where Ash tries to convince Henry and his men to join them against the Deadites. There's a couple of deleted scenes, plus an alternative darker opening (which I really liked) and this is the theatrical version you have seen, the director's cut (I think that's the one) has the original "bad" ending.

Campbell also wrote a hilarious, informative book about his life and the making of the original "Evil Dead" called; "If Chins Could Kill". I gained a lot of insight into the making of a movie, and highly recommend checking it out. (I might try to see if Bruce did an audio version, now that I think about it). If you do remember about that mirror, image reflection of Ashley Williams, that’s his real name, Ash for short, but if you do remember, this is a mirror image reflection of him came alive from the mirror and said this
Fine we are not fine. We cut of our girlfriend with a chainsaw.
So technically Ash is going to see the same guy in the next film and it turns out that a bad ash is the mirror reflection image of him is return, but do you remember that windmill that is the exact location or that cabinet supposed to be you do remember that mud water where are you fell into there’s a rig Zack, mud water that he fell into before he was possessed a little bit of science that three years later on in the 20/21 century so that castle there was supposed to be king Arthur’s castle before it became the new resting place for the epidemic and asked Marcus or the book of the dead so they said it in the catacombs later for the Naomi‘s family to discover it for the Kandarian demons that finds it then that will be the castle for that after author, Pendragon the king author, leaving the place and leaving the book of the dead, Apna Makan, ask Marcus, the book of the dead what is left there for the dark ones to repossess that book Why do I have a movie for you to do and yes I am a fan of horror films to and horror comedy at that too
So here’s the movie that you can do a first time movie watch and it is a fact a John Candy and Tom Hanks movie splash you can do that one or you can go with the idea of what you can do that Johnny Depp, movie, City Hall, Oregon new splash or should be hollow or you can do it that Vincent Price movie House on haunted Hill. If you like horror films medicine with comedy you would like this one.
See if you have three options you can do a splash that has Tom Hanks sand John Candy in it, or you can do Sippihaw or you can do House on haunted Hill Street in Vincent Price. Trust me there’s a lot of suspense here and he will love it.

01:31 Thank you. I've yet to start watching your reaction to AoD but I had to comment on your appreciation for practical effects. The poor, overuse of modern CGI turns a lot of films for me into FMVs from the old 90s games. I miss stunts from real people, animatronics with puppeteers and costumes with real performers in them. They're immersive while CGI pulls me out of the film. Labyrinth rules. I can't wait for my niece and nephew to grow a little so we can watch that classic together. If you love the creatures of The Jim Henson Company, hopefully you're a fan of the cult sci-fi show Farscape. It has some less than great CGI but is massively compensated by the amazing work of Brian Henson and his team.

If you've never seen them, Bruce has done some hilarious series, that you would most certainly love, Jack of All Trades, he plays a Zorro, Scarlett Pimpernel, Robin Hood style character. The rest of the cast is fantastic as well, but a couple of guest stars steal the show, especially, Vince Troyer, aka "Mini Me" in a roll so hilariously wrong, it's brilliant and perfect at the same time. The other series is, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. spectacular cast, amazing recurring guest stars, including the OG, Gomez Addams himself, John Astin!!!, who plays a wonderfully eccentric inventor and scientist.
Bruce is also great in the spy drama series with heart, Burn Notice, which let him flex is acting chops a bit, while still being Bruce. Also, on the off chance you haven't already seen, either, or both, Bubba Ho-Tep, is indescribable and fantastic. The other, is his lesser known, My Name is Bruce, a must watch for any Evil Dead fan, as it's chalked full of references.
