Top Notch. 100% Then some too for his posture and general ease of playing. Its very remarkable. The tonality and expertice speaks for itself. Well done, sir.
Oh my! LOL! I should have _known_ if you mastered the whistles, you _probably_ had the Uilleann pipes nailed too. Well done!! (Yes, I subscribed as I watched you perform "May Morning Dew".) Excellent!!! Looking forward to hearing your remarkable performances for years to come. Beautiful set, btw.
Sounding way way better than just good. A lot of out-of-tune drones out there. I don't know anything about those pipes but you were changing chord there! Without wishing to sound like the comment book in a museum, it was very very good.
I love the non-mainstream instruments. Pipes are special and have a unique sound and very animated playing style and beautiful sounds. Keep up the good work.
Chris, you never fail at being an absolute delight. I start my mornings with your renditions of _I Am Asleep_ as well as _The Clumsy Lover_ and have started timing the coffee press to that video. Please keep the pipes alive, you're a blessing in that world of so few!
Wow! The pipes have always called to me. Your playing is great. I like your work with the drones, and the sudden stop before one more verse of toss the feathers, and the long chord at the very end. Thanks for playing.
wonderful. One of my goals in life is to learn to play the Uillean pipe, something difficult from Galicia but not impossible, a greeting from a Galician piper
Whoa, is that smoke I see coming out of the chanter....hahahaha, my man Chris, you frick'n rock those pipes my friend. Question though, when you close your eyes while playing are you thinking how much you are in the tune or are you saying to yourself this is the 40th damn time I have played this tune in order to get the recording right. hahahahhahhaha. Merry Christmas my friend and I look so forward to hearing more of your tunes in the very near future. Will touch base with you next month.
Sounds great. Here’s a question, do you learn songs by ear, sheet music? Bit of both? Is it like jazz musicians, there are standards you’re expected to know etc?
What do you's all think of the new video? Let me know in the comments section 😀👇
Beautiful! Thank you! 💖
That set is singing! Rockin 👍👏🎶🎶🎶
I'd caution people against tossing feathers. The hard pointy thing on the end might hurt someone's eye. And really, how far could a feather be tossed?
Loved it!
Bravo Chris!!! GREAT sound! GREAT style !👏👏👏👏
I am transported into a good place when I listen to Chris McMullan.

Terrific work!
Johnny Doran redivivus! Fantastic playing, Chris. The tunes are exquisitely rendered, and the regulator work on The Bunch of Keys is just perfect!
Love that you're promoting a beautiful and uncommon instrument not to mention the hardest to play in the world
drones sound deadly good mate...absolutely brilliant playing
Cheers John 🙂
Great piping ,surely the late great Johnny Doran be so proud of this rendition
Incredible. The difficulty of the right arm doing bellows, chords and melody all at the same time is astonishing. And, with musicality. Bravo.
👏🏼 holy smokes! Amazing Chris
Brilliantly played Chris! The Uilleann pipes are such a fascinating and beautiful instrument.
Love all your videos I wish I had the money to visit Ireland

where can I find the sheet music for this?
Chris is there anyway to get the sheet music to your arrangement of “I am Asleep” aka “Taimse I’m’ Chodladh”? GRMA
As a ghb,s player I'd like to say.... holy fuck ...
You have a bit talent about yourself laddie. Beautifully played and great tunes.
who made your pipes?
Cillian O'Briain
Sounds great. Here’s a question, do you learn songs by ear, sheet music? Bit of both? Is it like jazz musicians, there are standards you’re expected to know etc?
Started with sheet music then went on to learning by ear for the majority of the tunes I have/play.
You must play the kesh?
