      @@SpringoStarr No I don't. I prefer the real ashiks playing acoustic baglama. This electric stuff sounds poorly but it will be for the youth I guess.

      @@HarpsichordVinylGallery well, that’s matter of choice and taste. Altin Gün is already quite popular and well known among people who keep ears open.

    Electric saz (baglama) is poorly compared to the acoustics of an acoustic baglama :-(

    • @HarpsichordVinylGallery

      @@user-nf7cr6wn6o We call those tones the natural overtones which of course you can filter away with echo and other artificial electronic stuff to make the sound less interesting.

    • @HarpsichordVinylGallery
      @HarpsichordVinylGallery 3 года назад

      @@user-nf7cr6wn6o First of all I am not conservative. I like all plucked instruments because of the different sounds made by the tension of the strings, the shape of the body, the material used, the art of playing. the traditional tunes and the cross-over music in completely different genres. However to put an electrical element and filters on such a noble instrument as the baglama to be part of the pop-scene. OK but not for someone like me who loves the sound of this original instrument.

    • @HarpsichordVinylGallery

      @@user-nf7cr6wn6o of course it is not my löss but my appreciation for the natural tones. If you are happy with artificial distortion we are both happy.
