- In this video, Jeff and I continue our travels on Sanibel Island, and share with you the ONLY campground on Sanibel Island, called Periwinkle Park.
Sanibel Island is a popular vacation destination known for its beautiful beaches, wildlife, and outdoor activities. One of the best ways to experience the island is by staying at the only campground on Sanibel Island, known for its prime location and amenities. The Sanibel Island Campground is located on the Gulf of Mexico and offers visitors the unique opportunity to experience the island's natural beauty while enjoying all the comforts of home.

Just BEAUTIFUL!!!......amazing that only 2 months later - that park is probably wiped out from the hurricane. I hope they secured all those poor birds!! The last picture of the sunset is stunning!!!
Hi Twyla! Thank you for watching and supporting our channel ❤️. It is so sad that Sanibel was devastated as it was due to hurricane Ian. It is my understanding that the owners tried to secure the birds in a safe place but the ocean surge killed most of them. The surge came in between 15 and 18 feet.

Do they allow dogs in this RV park?
Hello! Thank you for watching. I believe they may allow pets. However, you may want to call the campground to check on this. The campground was virtually destroyed after the hurricane. They rebuilt and I’m sure that they have changed some things.
