I got mt copy yesteday, and have been waiting over two years for it. It's a glorious piece of work. Beautifully illustrated and written. Like you, I've barely scratched the surface of it yet, but I really want to work through it piece by piece. Definitely a masterpiece.
I was born in the 00s, in the UK; I didn't grow up with the individual Beano or Dandy comics but certainly the annual publications were often enjoyed Christmas gifts. It's a lovely memory to cast my mind back to, stay up late with a stocking filler tube of sweets and a book of comics reading late into the night.
Alan Moore is the man who opened my mind to magic and I’m so glad he made a book to learn to get into it. Once I have more free time I definitely want to dive into this book.
As an intermediate level illustrator and an aspiring indie comic book creator and a witch I would LOVE to have this book!!!!!! I would have LOVED if this was one of my first books when I started out since it combines some of my favorite things drawing and magick. I have been wanting to create my own esoteric educational graphic novel for a few years now. OMG it has a DIY art project 😭😭😭I love it😭😭😭

Also try Alan Moore's 'The Great Wgen' fiction novel, first in a series. Magick, history, Spare, Crowley etc etc.
