    Your new bridges are going to look gorgeous on you. They do look more like natural teeth. I'm so happy for you. I so appreciate all you do to educate and help us on dentures, bridges and implants. I'm 53 years old and have worn a lower partial since my 20's. I just recently got up the nerve to go thru implants. All thanks to you. So I'm really excited to get my final bridge. Go in a few weeks for the wax try in. Thank you again for all you do.

      ***** Mine are suppose to be zirconia which is suppose to be the best. I have not heard of Prettau Bridge. I need to research. I go in a few weeks. I have 7 mini implants on the bottom. He might put a few more in. I can't wait for my final result like Kalinjax. Thanks for the info.

      Suzie Long I also recently got dental implants (And if you click on my picture you can see the videos). I am telling you that the difference from partials or dentures is huge with stability, and I wish everyone could get them if they need any teeth replaced. I wish you well!!

      ***** My bridge is suppose to be zirconia that sets on my gums and no pink gum material. It will be permanently fixed and look like natural teeth. I am so excited to get this done. Being that my implants are mini's the healing time is quick. I wish you all the best.

      Suzie Long Hello Suzie!
      I'm reading your communications about your "mini implant" bridge. I am a little confused, since i only saw mini implants to be used on removable dentures to hold them in place. I've had porcelan bridges in both sides of my lower jaw. Unfortunately one side of the lower jaw my wisdom tooth that held the bridge had to be pulled. Now i have a huge empty space in the back and can't put a bridge there with no tooth to hold it. You mention about the minis healing time being shorter, but i never heard about using it for "permanent"? bridge support. Would you please tell me if these implants are the same as what they sometimes call "needle" implants? Or is it some new kind that i don't know about? If you know the proper name and brand of those implants i would really love to know. Also, are you gonna have an implant under each tooth that needs to be glued on it, or less implants to hold a 'bridge" for the missing teeth in between?
      I wanted real implants, but something really terrible happened in my life and i couldn't get it done yet. Now i have problem with the healing time, since i'm stuck in Hungary for all the wrong reasons. I would like to find a solution that takes a lot less time than the traditional implants. Please let me know how long your mini implants need to heal before they can put the teeth/bridge on them?
      So to recap my questions short :
      1. What kind of mini implants are they? (maybe some RUclips video link?)
      2. How much time to heal?
      3. Can they support a bridge, or each tooth has to be supported with an implant?
      Sorry for the interrogation but i am desperate, and maybe some other people can get some useful informations from you too. Thanks in advance! I wish you a perfectly functional beautiful new set of teeth!

    I love the new teeth! In a few months, I'll be getting my lower implant-supported denture made (with new upper too) and I am definitely going to see about the Phonares line.

    Your videos have really helped me. Soon I'm gonna have 3 teeth pulled and fitted with a partial. I don't have insurance but I found a place that will do it for about 600. Might be cheaply made, but I figured nothing is worse walking around with 3 teeth missing on the top. I'm only 25 too. Btw you're gorgeous too. Keep up the videos.

    You had teeth the same day. How long did it take to get your permanent denture? Did you have several dentures replacements through out the process? I have a partial on top with an implant. It just isn't working. It wobbles and it's painful. I want to get a permanent dentures. I'm getting so much info from you, thank you.

    Hi, Thanks for the information. I was wondering if you could do a kind of recap video and go over what exactly happened with your first set of all on four? I am not clear on exactly what happened and why you need a new set.
    Thanks

    The bridges look beautiful and the gum color seems much more naturally flesh tone than your current ones that seem a bit darker from my end. They looked gorgeous and yes, less brighter which makes a huge difference even though its cosmetic. I wonder if I could be a part of Ivoclar. Good Luck!

      Thank you! I agree, the gum color looks healthier! Of course these are wax but they are going to try to get it very close to this color when making the bridges.

    Great video as usual. I need dentures, but I was wondering if you know anything about teeth clenching and grinding at night? I'm afraid I will break them, and I don't want to sleep toothless! I have TMJ and I have broken all my crowns and lost molars because of it. Thank you for all you are doing for us!

    • @kalinjax
      @kalinjax  9 лет назад

      Hey there! Yes grinding and clenching could cause them to break. Whether you sleep in them or not, you will still have to find time to soak them for at least 6-8 hours a day. Otherwise you will be causing damage to your soft tissue underneath. Dr. golpa made me a night guard for my bridges but I don't think that is something that can be done for dentures.

    Kalinjax, I think your teeth look fantastic and I am so thankful for your video's.
    I have been living with upper dentures and lower implants that I chose but are way too white. Like you, I chose the Hollywood white after having really yellow broken and missing natural teeth. I liked them for a while but have come to dislike them and am in the process of having new uppers and lowers made to look more lifelike and natural.
    The problem I'm having is that the off white colors are, as you say, dingy or yellow tinted. I JUST WANT NATURAL WHITE TEETH THAT AREN'T TOO BRIGHT OR SHADED YELLOW OR BROWN. I have inquired about the Ivoclar vivadent phonares.
    What color did you end up with shown in the before and after pics at the end of this video; and are they the Ivoclar vivadent phonares?
    Thank you again for your very informative video's

    Very nice video, Thanks! I have been looking into the process of dental implants for some time now. I have had a lot of dental work over the past two years; root canals, crowns, inlays etc.All from large fillings that cracked the teeth and clinching/grinding at night. The place i went told me they could try and put crowns on the teeth, but, they are only a short term solution, eventually, all back teeth are going to have to be pulled. they told me they could take impressions for partials now, and have them ready to go for when it's time. But, i really don't want partials, my parents both had them, and i remember the problems they had. That being said, implants seem to be the way to go. But, when i have to have them, i don't want anyone to know i have had my teeth pulled. I wish someone could make implant bridges with the exact dental work someone had before, so it looks like nothing has changed. Thank you for the awesome videos, and please keep up the great work.

    Hi I'm a little confused.......(looks great btw) are the Vivadent Phonares that are available to the public.........dentures OR All on 4, over denture etc. If it is a denture the bridges that they are giving you aren't a real comparison. I'm saving for All on 4 time hybrid and just curious!!! Thank you as always!

    Perhaps it's the quality of the video, but I think the teeth you have in look pretty great. Of course, you have the big advantage of being beautiful to begin with. I'm going in to have all of my teeth extracted in about three hours. Ultimately, I want to get the mini-implant dentures after my gums have healed. Wish me luck!

    That's awesome, they look Amazing! ...I unfortunately didn't research my doctor before I had my extractions done. I've gone the last 1 1/2 month without any teeth and am very disappointed with their level of care and it doesn't seem like they know much about dentures because they keep on changing the information they give me each time I'm there. I'm trying to find a new dentist to go to for snap in or permanent fixed bridges. I was wondering how I can get in touch with Dr. Martin who currently did your new bridges? ...Also, I would love to attend Ivoclar seminars to learn more and help spread the word to others. I live in Buffalo NY and noticed you said one of the team members live here in Buffalo, how would I get in touch with him ...I don't work and am willing to travel to Florida or any where needed to go to a good doctor/denturist who will give me a great result! ...Thank You for your informative video's you are a big inspiration!!! ...I look forward to hearing from you soon :)

    Wow the dentures you have in now look really good but im curious.. I watched some of your other videos and i think you said Dr. Golpa did your first set and how a screw came loose.. i was thinking of using Dr Golpa for my all in 4 procedure do you advise for someone like me to go a different route because here you seem to be using someone else. Thank you for your uploads and info

      KNGHTRYDAFITNESS yes, i was also considering going to Dr Golpa and would like some advice as well.. as we all know this is an expensive procedure and I would like as much information as I can get from others who have gone through the all on four procedure as possible.. I could not afford to do this twice. Thank you Kalinjax for all that you do to keep us informed.

    Hey there!
    I've been wearing partial dentures for several years and I am only 19. I have a dental condition called Oligodontia where once I lost my baby teeth, the adult teeth never grew back in. I have two sisters who also have the condition and my mom has it as well (it's genetic). I've had multiple surgeries such as bone grafting, I got 10 implants put in and I've also had gum grafting... plus many more that were a result of complications. On May 20th, I got my first temporary bridges put in on the top and bottom. They look great but I can't talk in them at all :( I was wondering if you had trouble speaking after getting your temporary bridge for the first time. I have a lisp now and there's a bit of a whistle when I talk. I'm so embarrassed and I don't want to talk in public because I sound terrible. If you had trouble speaking after you first got your bridges, how long did it take you to adjust to them? Thanks

    I have serious question and I hope you answer it for me or help me gain insight on the subject. Regarding dental implants I'm thinking about going forward with the procedure. I'm wondering if this is the best option to go through. I'm missing teeth in the front so I'm not able to smile. And with dealing with this at a young age I don't go out much and I'm very reclusive because I'm only 22 and I care what people think. the dentist said it's genetic.

    • @kalinjax
      @kalinjax  9 лет назад

      I think most dentists would agree that implants are the best option for replacing teeth. It isn't the only option, you could always get a partial, removable denture but there are consequences to that, such as bone loss. If you can get implants, I think that's the best way to go. The procedure is typically a lot less invasive than you would imaging and healing is a breeze. I hope this helps? Good luck!

    Hope somebody will answer me I'm new here and new to dental bridges. I have a dental bridge in my top front teeth and i just have so many questions. First it's embarrassing but I watepik and floss but my upper gums have a weird smell and idk if other people can smell that when I speak does anybody know what I can do? And also will my gums atrophy right away like bone loss in those areas?

    • @Siberius-
      @Siberius- 9 лет назад

      Joey T - I'm curious how you lost yopur top front teeth.. that incident probably sucked.. not that it's any of my dang business!
      Can't really floss with bridges... but I'd research what a good mouthwash for it would be maybe.. I assume it's just bacteria getting into those places you can't brush.. or it might be an infection, mouthwash should get there a lot better and kill that bacteria.. certain ingredients in mouthwash will work better than others so you'll have to google that or ask your dentist if they have any ideas. Maybe the smell is coming from somewhere else if you're not positive.. like the back of the tongue is a common place.. certain mouthwashes are good for that. You seem to be pretty sure though. Maybe google knows more than I do about this lol.
      Bone loss seems normal to an extent since there's nothing implanted and simulating teeth and stimulating the gums and bone.. like with dentures the gums will shrink for about 2 years until they stop.. I'm unsure of what to do if that happens with bridges.. I'd have to google harder.. kind of curious now.. definitely see what your dentist reckons if you can.

    • @kalinjax
      @kalinjax  9 лет назад

      Kathy G There is nothing wrong with what I have now. There wasn't anything wrong with my temporary dentures, either, but there was a vast improvement in quality when I got my final set of dentures. These new bridges will be of a different quality that makes them look incredibly real. It's very hard to simply explain it because you see me on the video and everything looks great, I love what I have. But when you put the two side by side, it's a no-brainer that the new bridges are better quality. And it's not to put down the work I have now, but just to show people what their options are. Just like buying a car, different cars, different appearance, different performance, etc. I want people know that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to dentures and bridges. There are plenty of options, depending on what it is you want and what works best for you.

    I don't understand. I thought you wanted the whitest white, the perfect shape and the most perfect teeth. Now it sounds like you want something different....less bright, less perfect symmetry, etc. Do you think you will ever be content with the final result?

    • @kalinjax
      @kalinjax  9 лет назад +2

      Never said I wanted them to be perfect. Just natural-looking. Please tell me you wouldn't want the same. I am very happy with the bridges I currently have. But ivoclar stepped in and offered to make me a new set, using their teeth. Thy wanted to show me, and everyone else, what options are available for denture wearers and those with bridges like myself. So it would be kind of silly to get them to make a new set of bridges that look just like the ones I have. I initially wanted the really white teeth because the other options looked dull and lifeless. With the Phonares teeth, they all look like real teeth so I am able to go to a more natural shade of white without it looking like a flat, unnatural shade. I assure you, I was happy when I got my dentures and could just smile again. I've been blessed to win the contest through Dr. Golpa and now to be working with Ivoclar and am happy it has been a learning experience for myself and others. Please don't turn it into me being superficial about my appearance because that couldn't be further than the truth. I'm continuing to be vulnerable here and expose this personal experience simply to help others like yourself make a more informed decision when dealing with tooth loss.

      kalinjax Kalijax, I am just about to begin my denture journey. Can't afford bridges and implants, but I do agree with you that it would be great to have dentures or implants that resemble "real or natural" teeth. I appreciate you for sharing such a personal and private journey. You have inspired many along their journey, especially me! Hey, have you ever considered that you were allowed to have this experience in order to share with others. Who knows, you aren't too old to consider a possible career in dentistry in the future, lol. Life isn't over because you have kids....I have six young adults, lol.(Smile) I know you must care for a child with special needs. Even with that, you care enough to post videos. I appreciate your videos. Thank you again and God Bless you!

      kalinjax I agree with you. I also have dental implants (And videos about getting them and even some videos of the procedures while they were being done, Jay Gray channel on youtube). I have PW2's, and they look very natural, however once in a while I get a few people who come up and comment on how nice my teeth look. They are NOT shy at all and want to get really close and look at my teeth, NOT that I mind, but most believe and ask if I have veneers and they immediately wanna know how much they cost and who is the dentist. I can understand why you would like your teeth to look more natural and less like veneers. The teeth they made for you look nice and are definitely different from your teeth from Golpa. I like the teeth you have right now, though having said that I hope you pick the ones that make you feel your best.
