Man I keep getting reminded that the TIE Fighter was based off such a small and lethal Jedi starfighter. Too bad the Empire horribly butchered it and thought it was a great idea to adapt it for normal non force sensitive pilots lol !
The older BFs were better. It would’ve been awesome if the capital ships were on rails, we could board them, repair the shields, man the turrets and fire on starfighters trying to board us and infiltrate the enemy capital ship while coming up on our flank to fire all their broadsides like in Episode 3. Controlling the smaller cruisers would be interesting. The player could simultaneously control all the turrets or let the AI fire while we steer the ship. So many possibilities. If they make a third game DICE better listen to us and learn from their mistakes.

This is not right! When I play this, the enemy fighters zip and make hairpin turns like houseflies. They never fly steady enough to stay behind or shoot head on. What in the settings am I missing?
Because you don't destroy your ships just like that and reduce your own fleet, dumbfuck. The whole EP 8 thing was a last desperate move.... Not a real war tactic.....
Why all the bad reviews when this game first came out?? This game looks amazing!! Hopefully as good as the first one. I LOvED in the first one you could fight in space then land in the ships and fight on foot or fly to down to the planet and started fighting. I hope they still have that in this one
Someone that plays the objective and doesn't just fly around trying to kill the enemy team? IMPOSSIBLE. (Although, it is good to have people killing the enemy team while the others play the objective, so you had a pretty good team.)
Theodore McKenzie I do that. My sole focus is the objectives. When they're completed quickly we get more reinforcements and so we can have more of a chance of winning. Sadly it seems no one else does that

The new BF2 is alright at best. The campaign was alright but short in the resurrection campaign. And you don't have these kind of games in the arcade at all. Plus instant action only has clone wars and not the galactic civil war. So BF2 still gets a D+ in my opinion. But the graphics get and A. Ut still EA could've made the game better. But atleast it's better than Battlefront 2015 in a way.

it's smart to destroy enemy fighters, cause then there's less to shoot at your teammates and make your reinforcement counts drop
