I remember watching the video of him meditating for 6 months. He does have special abilities. He was on video all the time to check if he is actually not eating, drinking or moving and he wasn't. It was unbelievable. No idea what went wrong

Bodhichitta is more important than meditation. Practice compassion attitude toward whole sentiment being should be meditated for years and years before began mediation itself. Otherwise result is before us.
Buddha means awaken being. No longer clinging to earthly desires. Sexual desire is one of the strong clinging that is very difficult to let go. If this spiritual person is unable to let go of this desire attachment, he has not reach even the first jhana (zen) yet in the samatha/vipassana meditation. There are various jhana stages in the meditation before the final liberation to be an enlightened beings/minds. There are signs and qualities of the Buddha as described in the Suttas/Sutras. Hope that the media would not described him as Buddha boy, as his teachings and ways are very different from the mainstream Buddhism.
Not everyone can live up to the BUDDAH
People have successfully limited Buddhism to meditation, nah Buddha was buddha because of his knowledge, personality, compassion, nature, critical thinking, open-mindednes and much more.

Besides, the Buddha Boy is rather good looking, and I don't think he needs to "rape" women as he can easily make friends with them.

Giving this so called guy such a name is a disrespect to Lord buddha himself. Not everyone can be buddha. So many people don't know this but Lord Buddha's name was actually Siddhartha Gautam and he used to be a prince, had a wife and even children but he was very tired of his royal life and wanted to help people in suffering so he left everything and then became THE buddha. Just cause someone has been meditating in a freaking jungle for a few days doesn't make him great. There are great monks who have meditated for a whole year, yet they aren't called Mega buddha. This is all just media play.

The Lord Buddha was a man loved by all, and this so called "little buddha" literally having his own cult, sitting in this high chair should be a clear sign he doesn't deserve to get a title like this.
This is what is wrong with this world. People don't understand what Buddhism is, Buddhism isn't a religion like even many Buddhists believe. Many Buddhists treats it as a religion and become offended and even proud by being a part of it. You are living in the stone age as long as you treat a Buddhist statue better than another human being. You're treating a man made statue better than a life of another being. If you feel this way, then you don't know what actual Buddhism is. We use the name "Buddhism" in this era for the truth of life. Imagine the whole world is Muslim or whatsoever, one day someone will start questioning the existence of this life, get tired of this all these things around him/her and start seeking for the truth of life and finally find it at some point, then it will be named as something else. It has nothing to do with the name of it or its books, monks, becoming kind or sutras nor anyone else, even without those someone will eventually find it. Respect everyone, not their ideology, let go of your ego, anger, hatred and greed. You are bound to this world by your senses. A born blind man has no idea about pretty women, you created the beauty with your eyes, you carve to see this beauty, when all the senses create a countless amount of desires, you will never able to leave this cycle of life, if there is one. If you are addicted to Buddhism, think nothing else beside that, then you cannot leave it too, whether your desire is extreme or low, it still is a desire. For all those questioning Yogic Kriya on the basis of this Buddha Boy, get some knowledge first or just pay a visit to Kumbh Mela once. What this boy did is normal activity for many Yogis. A Yogi in Odisha was literally excavated from under the ground by ASI, he was meditating for more than a century and a temple was built over him as he was under the ground.

If not mistaken, before puberty, it will be easier to meditate to reach certain stage of concentration development. After reaching adulthood, it needs development of wisdom to overcome our human natural instincts. It is not a conducive environment when one is being raised and worshipped out of proportion to be on the same level as the Buddha himself. The buddhist sutra has stated clearly that the next buddha will be Maitreya Buddha, who will only come to this world many (uncountable) years away. Definitely not now or any near future. May this matter of gossip nature will be dissolved and make clear within the buddhist circles who worships the mentioned male character in this news reporting channel soon. 🙏

Whoever he is or whatever accusations are made has to be thoroughly and honestly investigated. Until proven guilty by the Court, he is innocent. But one thing is sure and certain and that is he does have extraordinary character and power in meditating for months without food or water. I recall hearing of this story in the past and listening to his speeches. The boy seemed genuinly concerned about animals and people. I also recall him admonishing observers not to call him a buddha, because he is not at that level yet. And certainly his meditation / contemplations, observed for an extended period of time did not seem typical or ordinary. Therefore, it's important to approach the accusations with caution - I think it's the right thing to do... Let's observe how this unfolds...I hope the outcome will be just.
