Hi Jutta, nice to hear from you! Aw, we are still here, but taking it a bit slower for the summer. But it's nice to know we are missed! 🥰 Thanks for the encouragement! 🙏
@@GinasGrooming Perfect, I am looking forward to your next videos 🥰 We will have almost 40 degrees in Germany next week. Enjoy the summertime and take care 😘
Hi, nice to hear from you! Oh no, you've got a wiggly pup (which is common!) But you can usually rehabilitate (most) pups with positive reinforcement and building up the time that you spend doing a grooming task - like face trims. My advice is to just start working on face holds for just a few seconds and then reward when your pup reacts calmly. Then introduce a benign object (like an old toothbrush) to start touching his face with the [toothbrush] while holding the face with the other. Stop, reward, repeat. Some dogs are very challenging (I know!), but there's almost always a way to get through it. Hope that helps and good luck! 🙏
Hi Poodle Mama (me too!) 😄 Sure, I can certainly work on a Poodle face workshop, thanks 4 the suggestion! The good news is that the holds demonstrated in this video are pretty universal for most breeds (except the chin hold on a Poodle clean face, for sure!), but I use the others for my Poodles all the time. Thanks so much for watching and for your comment! 🐩🐾
i love how you can see how gentle you're holding and guiding him!

How do you get the dog to sit still? Mine freaks out and flops around everywhere.

Could you please do this with a poodle?
