    Saw Focus in Hollywood with Black Oak Arkansas in the early '70's. It was right after Hocus Pocus hit the airwaves. Went to see Jim Dandy. Didn't really appreciate Focus but started listening to them in the last 10-15 years. Incredible sounds

    Awesome. As a guitar player myself I wanted to learn the Hammond part also so I stumbled across this video while I was searching. Sometimes I don't see what you're doing but I can slow down youtube so I can figure it out slowly. I think you nailed it sir. Thank you

    @RussoGaara again 88 8800 000 Upper and 00 6600 000 Lower but that's just for some support, not really necessary.. no pedal was used in this version. (Played on a British red cap Hammond A100 from '66 with a Leslie 145...quite original set up)

      Did you learn it by ear?
      Very impressive

    • @troublesomecorsair
      @troublesomecorsair 10 лет назад

      Tamir Burstein Partly by ear. I can't always tell what his pinky finger is playing, but being able to see his thumb and index fingers is helpful. I love this song... I'll try to figure out the rest of it, but Thijs Van Leer is quite fond of tricky chord progressions. I actually have a Hammond Organ like in the video, so if I can get my brother to play lead guitar, we can cover this song too. :)

      F Am Eflat D7
      Gm F Eflat Bmflat Emflat Bflat Eflat F
      Dm C Bflat Aflat Bmflat Aflat Bflat C
      I haven't figured out the remainder yet.

    Ik ben zo jaloers....de rolls royce onder de orgels, helaas ver buiten mijn budget .....maar wat ben jij een geweldige organist.

    • @HammondDomein
      @HammondDomein  10 лет назад +3

      Dankje....er zijn ook "goedkope" of kleinere Hammonds. Daarnaast kun je het ook een beetje opbouwen: eerst een orgel, dan de Leslie enz. Maar je moet het echt willen, dat wel. Er komt een hoop bij kijken...vergelijkbaar met een old timer hobby

    • @barrygroeneveld6901
      @barrygroeneveld6901 6 лет назад

      Begin met een M3 of M101, die zijn betaalbaar. Een leslie is eigenlijk wel een must, maar een goedkoper alternatief is een neo-ventilator pedaal. Kan dan over een "normale" versterker of zelfs op koptelefoon (kun je lekker oefenen zonder ruzie met je buren te krijgen!)
