Remember this song well, but the version I remember started at 2:15 (which was just fine with me), for I could not take the too much of the campy "Happy Days Are Here Again" intro but prefer when she gets down to business. This was undisputedly during the disco era so don't be surprised by the emphasis on the rhythm. That being said, if you start at 2:15 as I suggested, she does a pretty impressive job and I thank you for posting this because I have been looking for this for years!
Well I've been looking for this for years too RUclips didn't have it iTunes doesn't have Which is surprising so I bought the record on Amazon and I uploaded the song since RUclips didn't have it and I'll be the first one
Thanks a bunch!
Remember seeing the 12" version in a record shop back in the early 80s but never purchased. Have been looking ever since. Thanks for posting!
She performed this disco version of this standard, plus "Livin' for the Beat" and "Falling in Love" on Soul Train on 10/21/78.
