I’ve watched video after video on how to do this for years and still haven’t mastered this type of hair cut. Hands down this is the best video I have watched on explaining the steps!

@@DrawdownTrader I'm cutting my own hair for 8yrs.. It's not hard you only need 2mirror...as long as you know the basic you can do it..and by the way I'm own my beauty salon for 22yrs on service since 2001 here in Philippines ☺️👌
@@dominicbarnes7125 a fade in the mirror is so hard though bro 🥵 The hair cutting I can do something basic. The top is never perfect but it’ll look fine with some hair putty . Sometimes I’ll notice a hair longer, days later and cut it 😆

This is the second time I cut my 4yr old sons hair. It's easier said than done. It's tough on a toddler but I'd rather jack up his hair now than in his later years.

Thanks for sharing. Great step by step tutorial. I've met too many barbers and stylists. One thing you can't teach is Talent. Only a few have the talent, artistic capacity and patience to get this done the way you did it. When business speed goes over quality, it makes it so much worse. Hard to find talented barbers now a days. Hope your videos get more audience. This is needed throughout the hair cutting business. THANKS!

Apperintly barbers are only open for 2 to 3 hours on Saturdays and close before I get off work so now I'm here... to cut my own hair and my sons.

As someone in cosmo school..: they teach us one time on a mannequin and it’s essentially more for how to hold clippers etc but not technique. You’re videos have really broken the process down for me and have given me confidence to practice these types of cuts! About to do this one on my son :)

This was an excellent tutorial!!!!! 😁I loved how slow and methodical you were with your instruction. It was so helpful, to me. There were plenty of areas where you could "Pause" the video when needed. I appreciated that, for sure.

Great videos! I’m learning to cut my sons’ hair and my own. I find that when creating guidelines for a zero fade, my clipper blades go under hair and it’s hard to tell where the line is at. Do you flick the clipper out to cut that overhanging hair while creating guidelines. Thanks in advance.
If you remove the bulk with a 2 guard if makes it easier to set in the first “zero” guideline

This is one of the best and easiest tutorials I’ve seen to follow. Im about to move to a place that’s isolated and the only barbers near me aren’t really good. Appreciate your methodical approach.

Yeah it's hard to find good barbers especially in small towns if you live out in the country.
I live in Texas now but originally from the Northeast. The worst thing for me is finding a barber for my boys not knowing if they’re good or not. Their hair is exactly like the boy in the video so this is perfect for me.
Question. For someone who is new to fades and wanted to keep it fresh. How often should one visit the barber. Or what is the common visit most clients do
