Never was an Elvis fan but certainly was of Freddie. He was one of the few entertainers that could have the whole family in stitches not like us and them today. Des O'Connor shouldn't be under estimated either, he was the perfect straight man for comedians like Freddie and others like Morecambe and Wise. Looking back to see what comedy entertainment was like and look at the total shite we now have on the BBC for example is very sad imo.

Beloved Robin Williams must've loved the amazing, inimitable Freddy Starr. I always loved Des O'Connor. What a great year was 1983. I was jus back in the US from living on London two years. Loved ITV back then!
My Southern US Dad used to play his guitar he got at age twelve and sing Old Shep for me as a small child :) Greetings from Western North Carolina. I miss these times.
Keith Moon, John Lydon, Robin Williams, Freddy Starr... all brilliant wild men who kept us laughing, learning, honest and sane - by acting like naughty genius school boys! 😀😅

He was just one of many fantastic comedians Liverpool produced but probably the wildest by far. He was FANTASTIC when he wasn't constrained by the rules of Television. @ Andrew Thompson Sorry, BBC doesn't count, they are not a reliable source. If you think these protectors of pedos like Saville have any credibility at all you are crazy. Second point I would make is... Is that it? Is that the sum of all Freddie's accusers? In weighing up what we have to go on in what we receive from the media, we have to make our minds up. How did she prove it was true? One accuser does not make a case (in my opinion) If Freddie was the abuser you claim he is then SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE.
