- This story was inspired by an Interview with Jordan Spieth, where he use to hop fences with his father to watch the Byron Nelson PGA tournament. This was my son's first real golf swing - with a proper golf ball, on a proper golf course. TPC Scottsdale.
Our oldest plays golf and loves it. This is great. Thanks. Greeting from Texas.

Smash the Ball! Looks like he is a natural! Avery is on his second round of golf lessons! He loves it! And during the summer he sells golf balls at our beach cabin that is on a golf course! Avery's pro shop is his first business!

Ha! that be cool! but we realize that it is very unlikely...right now it is fun to see him persevere in something and have a passion for something. If it sticks cool, but if he moves on, that is cool too...it will be fun to see what his interests are when he is older...but also trying to hold on to that pause button as much as I can..thanks a bunch guys.

Thanks Kev!!!! Yeah, TPC Scottsdale was ridiculously overpriced that day. I played it in the off season a few years back for less than 80 bucks..not worth it for 3 holes..really that is all that course is. My course opens next week...can't wait.
