- 60 Kilometres on the Abel Tasman, New Zealand. Our journey begins with an AQUA TAXI to TOTARANUI campsite. We head a few kms north to ANAPAI campground where we spend two nights, to relax and enjoy the beach. Overall ANAPAI campground was the favourite of the TRACK! Then we head back south and hit up WAIHARAKEKE campsite. Next day we head to BARK BAY for the night. Out last night was spent on TE PUKATEA BAY, then we finish off the track at Marahau.
That was an awesome family hiking and camping adventure over several days. So many interesting and beautiful places. I enjoyed in full to the end. Thank you, my friends.

Epic hiking days guys!! I see nothing but sand and beach weather hehe.. the kids are troopers, such a fun activity as a family! I heard cheeseburgers and milkshakes! 😀
Yeah it's a great hike!!! Perfect chance to jump in to ocean at most points to cool off. Dove into a milkshake at the end of the track!
❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉❤
Split Rock was pretty cool. You guys are wilderness survivals. We are lucky to just make it overnight. You really got some new shots. You really lucked on on the weather. You guys had this place to yourself.
Thanks! Back home and slowly catching up. We were so lucky with the weather, we were talking about that on the flight home. The track was busy in areas...and most campsites are quite full...we heard about two campsites with less people, and that is usually a magnet for us. Hope you are having a rocking week!
Brilliant trip, especially for the kids. It is a wonderful part of the world. We only did a day hike here being dropped off at Anchorage and walking the section back to Marahau. It was another of those things we said we must come back and do it all but have never managed to get back to.
Sounds like a fantastic day trip!! Yeah, so many places to see, and explore, it's often hard to make it back....my wife and I did the hike way back in 1999, so it is possible, it was fun to come back and see that not much has changed...well maybe the amount of people that hike it now, but other than that not much. Hope you have a rocking day!
Pretty tough having to hike and camp in this environment 😂 Great stuff Brother!
Yep, HA!!!! Someone has to do it! It's like hiking the costal trail of Superior! But with a groomed trail the whole time. Hope you had an awesome weekend!
Amazing looking hike, it looks like such a beautiful location, the beach is amazing on foot island :) such amazing wildlife :) Fantastic adventure :)
It was a really cool track. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Fabulous! Just wondering what the big packs weigh??
Thanks! Slowly catching up here, packs were definitely heavy, as we were both carrying for the kids...more than I would normally want to carry, over 50lbs..not sure of the exact weight...great work out! HA
