Oh wow that is idyllic!! What a beach. We love a boat trip, so this is right up our street. That really is a stunning beach. The walks look great and some of that wildlife is so different! We'd love to do this. What an adventure. What bug even was that???what a brilliant day trip. Cheers 🍻

What a beautiful place that was. I wouldn’t want to wander off the path as their spiders are huge. 😁👍

Thankfully we didn't see any! The massive grasshoppery thing certainly got me thinking though! 🦗

It is beautiful along there. Good to see it again. We camped on one of those beaches when we walked some of the track in mid 80s. Hope you didn't get sunburnt. Or mosquito or sandfly bites.
Looks like a weta in the bug box, but it's hard to see. They get quite big. Not a fun find in a bush toilet in the middle of the night, or wriggling over the surface of a cave...but more surprising than harmful.
When I visited Mapua (early 80s) it was clothes optional - is that still the case?

Thanks for watching! We loved Anchorage - a beautiful day!
I can safely say that everyone was definitely wearing clothes in Mapua!!!! :p
