I agree. The low slung seat, cockpit feel, and cozy interior make for a very sporty feeling car. Feels like an every-man’s corvette on the inside. The v6 doesn’t drone at low speeds, loves to rev out, and sings at high rpm. Drove the mustang and challenger and they just don’t feel the same as this. Glad I bought my 23 rs.
I totally agree bro I have a 2019 RS, it’s everything you mentioned I couldn’t have said it better Plus last year I had a challenger and it feel like a boat. The Camaro just dips thru traffic like a running back juking mf. Like the handing is fantastic
I got a 23' RS black everything. The one thing I didn't get was the NPP true dual exhaust. They sold the closest one that had it. I was looking to buy it but now that I realize, it was way overpriced anyway. 🥲 I got one at my local dealership, it doesn't have the true dual, but I got a sunroof, weather package, and technology package. I'm just happy I got one before they're gone. It does bother me a bit when I see another RS with true duals though. It should have come standard on all trim levels.
@@NorthCedarCreekRanch yeah it sure does. I drive mostly in tour mode. I'm not the one to race or anything, or go excessively fast. But if another driver tries me (ex: pulling in front of me only to go slow or tailgating) sport mode will be activated.
@@twins4life274 I’m getting around 25-30mpg in a 300+ horsepower naturally aspirated American V6 coupe in 2023. Coming from a Silverado this thing hauls plenty of ass
I drove the 455 HP Camaro in 2018 and it was insane. I barely touched the peddle and I was up to 80. I think the 8 is overkill unless you can race it or drive it really fast without fear of getting pulled over.
Yeah man I bought a 6th gen v6 camaro after having a 2009 mustang gt. I can tell you it's faster than my mustang gt was, and even a bit faster than our RT challenger. I went FBO with mine, and ran an e85 tune for a while, and I can tell you it's easy to get just under a 13 second quarter mile. The 8 and 10 spd auto transmissions really row through the gears fast. I don't find myself missing my V8 man. With the npp dual mode exhaust, you get a weird f-type like exhaust note. This car changed my whole view on American v6s.
@@Luis_elbori71the RTs only make 40 more hp than the V6 Camaro and considering it's a boat, that doesn't help 😂 LT1s Camaros make the same amount of hp as the SS (and they look better too😅)
So I have a 2018 with the same engine, mine is an 8spd. After 2019, they started doing the 10-speed automatic, which in the SS and higher trims, it's the same 10-speed that goes in the mustang because believe it or not Chevy and Ford made the transmission together. By 2018 has the same engine as the one you have here, but I've got some extra go fast goodies. Right now it's 477 horsepower to the rear wheels. It's an odd car, because nobody will tell you that it is faster stock then the 5.7 l challengers or chargers. It's a tricky to her because I feel like everyone's kind of downplayed it in the sports car market. They don't really talk about the fact that it's a mid 13 second quarter mile car that is naturally aspirated. They don't say that it is on every top 10 naturally aspirated V6 performance list. I would even implore you to try, and Mexico of course, to put your car against a scat pack. It was surprise you. Now you're probably not going to win stock but it's going to be close and the scat pack is it going to walk you. He might beach by half car length. Fun fact, the V6 1LE went around add pro Auto course race track faster than the hellcat Challenger in 2019.
Hey Alyssa! Thats great! A couple things, if you aren't used to a limited blind spot car, be extra careful when switching lanes (I always make a quick head turn to double check). Camaro's are known for some of the worst blind spots. Shouldn't steer you away though as you will get used to it! Secondly, depending on which model you get, make sure you have good tires with good tread at all times! These things like to fishtail when the road is wet or slightly damp. Hope this helps!
I'm looking at the pricing on Chevy website, and it says the 2023 v6 LT2 starts at 31k. (33k with automatic) You can jump up to the LT1 455hp V8 for 37k. Not sure where you're getting that pricing you mention. If you're paying 39k for a V6 Camaro then you are paying way too much.
Fully spewed out buddy he’s totally right Before I got my 2021 RS I would play around on “build your car” on Chevy And once you factor in(this what I have currently) strips. Black package. 19 wheels. The special gloss paint. Bose system. Leather seats heated/cooling seats. And other like nick nacks you can get that bitch to 40k for a RS real quick !
Hey bud Love ur idea on ur car channel reviews something iv always wanted to do. I own a 3.6 2018 RS camaro great car. Bought it in 2018 with 3000 miles for $25000 then gave me $9000 for my 2012 3.6 camaro witch i also loved. But the gen 6 is definitely better car the SS is lot more money not a little. I would also love a SS but cant afford it now way to much money. I think the ZL1 is actually a better deal than SS also. U mentioned SS having 650 HP it doesn’t its 455. Maybe u meant to say ZL1 idk not busting just trying to help u out. My RS with some minor air intake mods im getting 105 mph 13.6 seconds on my race box. Thats enough to embarrass most mussel cars from 60’s and 70’s. 80s threw early 2000’s would embarrass most anything built then even most vets. Basically same time and speed as a 2002 SS camaro very im very impressed with my RS. Good stuff keep it up I’ll subscribe to ur channel hopefully helps u out. Thanks
I just picked up a 2015 v6 Camaro with 40k miles on it for 12k and its interior and exterior is flawless. I love driving it. Any more power than this and I would get in trouble lol. Can't argue with the bang for your buck.

That’s not true. Well nearly true. Cause on some dynos the 455hp is crank Hp and most likely pushing 370-390 to wheels. and for a v6 Camaro which I own, it pushes about 280-290 to wheels
