Question if you don’t mind? When applying an Aluminum shoe do you have to use special nails or common/standard nails? Great work very satisfying to watch and listen to as I am working on leather at the same time. Oddly enough I am working with horse hide for a custom bag.

That first horse must’ve had hard soles…..you torched them….correct?

Wait, so torching the soles makes them softer, not harder? I have no actual knowledge on shoeing but i always assumed it would make them harder
