It’s amazing how important good sound in a movie is. Almost anything else can be cheap, but cheap sound ruins a movie without mercy.
I picked up that problem early. Not even a trainee sound engineer on this film. And not a single iota of wit. That takes real un-talent.

Animals are often afraid of things they aren't familiar with so its completely believable that these playstation 1 birds are spooked by this realistic environment.
They don't support high framerate.

I've doodled a bird once. The paper it was on got crumpled up, and dropped in a puddle of water. I tried to uncrumple it, realized it was a failed effort, re-crumpled it, and tossed it into the garbage.
That doodle, after all that, and after it's been taken to the dump......looks better than the birds in this movie.

14:11 Here’s a sin you should add: Even though the big sign references the (probably fictional) Half Moon Bay, and this story probably takes place in California because Nathalie said earlier she was from San Francisco, this double-decker bus still has a few smaller signs advertising trips to “Carnaby Street” and “Piccadilly Circus” which are famous sights in London, England.
The CGI is so bad that it almost hurts. It's like a picture of an eagle was just pasted multiple times on to the screen and the fire looks like it was taken from clipart

That's because it was.
Maybe it was, but I thought it was a mix of a bad camera, as they didn't even have good mics for audio capturing, so I just assumed. Also, the backgrounds during the outdoors shots seemed to be the the same quality shot as the rest, so it seems that it could go either way. They really could've given more to the budget of this movie. It might not have made the story better, but at least the CG would've improved slightly. Hell, Sharknado's CG was better than this & that was a horrible movie.
Not really since the budget seems to have been a handfull of pocket lint, a sandwich wrapper, and a few clippings of grass
The main character is like when you are giving a speech in junior high and just constantly reading off the flash cards in front of you with no discernible emotion.
This movie could turn even the most fierce environmentalist into an avid climate change denier.
Imagine a crossover between Birdemic and Sharknado. One of the most horrifying movies of all time.
Please don't say that, Sharknado is a freaking modern classic, it is so funny without trying a bit, Birdemic is just tragically horrible.

@@lilal8848 Well they're all bad movies. But Sharknado was bad in a freaking hilarious way, and it actually became a routing in the sequels, where the films just become shamelessly insane. I laughed and screamed my through the first and the third films. But you have to be able to laugh at the movie's flaws in order to enjoy it.

So, the main actress revealed recently on Corridor Crew's video (on redoing some of the VFX in Birdemic) that her audition took place in a parking lot, she got the role an hour later, and that it took 7 months to film because they were mainly filming on the weekends

I recently watched Birdemic for the first time, and let me tell you: It’s one of the most boring movies in existence. Channels like Cinema Sins and other commentary YTs make it seem a lot more funny that it is because of edits and reactions. I was 10 minutes in and wanted to die.
Yeah but those are some amazing special effects, they are just so breathtaking. I was blown away. It's like there really are birds.
