Dota, defense of the ancients, is a custom map. Based on another custom game, AOS, aeons of strife; in which heros are not simply summoned from an altar and used by a player in an RTS like warcraft 3, rather - in "MOBA" style games like AOS and leage of legends and DOTA - you control one hero ONLY, as part of a team defending a giant AI base. waves of AI footmen will spawn and fight (also providing gold and EXP), and as a hero your job is to guard your castle, and destroy the enemy castle. Eventually, neutral mobs "ganking" or roaming jungle heros emerged, roles were defined and metas evolved within the game itself. Myself I was good at AOS, tides of blood, DOTA allstars, league of legends, and havent played moba since I quit league due to constant OP champ releases overloaded kits and overcomplicated characters. there were lots of fun DOTA champs, I mained Clinx, Pudge, Stealth assasin, King Leoric, Phantom Lancer, Faceless void and a few others. Zeus was fun.

what is it that makes firelord bad? i know its basically only used for absolute rush builds, and otherwise is seen as the weakest hero, but from the way the abilities read it seems good, so what is it that makes him SO bad

My comment was just a sugestion becouse Dota 2 are harder, better, faster and stronger! $$$ Ofc ALL depends of him, everyone must respect his decision. But, I follow grubby for a couple of years and he complain some details about Blizz. He left a professional career to start streaming becouse there is no pool price, ZERO investments from Blizz. WC3 still alive only about Back2warcraft and Grubby, fans doing streaming. My question is whitch game Grubby can have more sucess? I wish the best to him becouse he is funny and a good person. All of this are my point of view. GL HF!
@@monkessj469 WC3 encourages players to play with less resources instead of amassing units. The 2 thresholds are at 51 units (from then, your workers will only get 70% of the resources) and from 81 units (from then your workers only get 40% of the resources). You will often see, that people will be reluctantly go above those limits until they feel ready. Even if you do not pay attention to this, the game will remind you with the 'No Upkeep'. 'Low Upkeep' and 'High Upkeep' messages, when you cross them.

He went above 50 units. 50 units is the first threshold, if you go above it, you will gather less resources.

frees up food pop, gotta keep it low due to upkeep. You lose a huge chunk of income if you go above 50, which sucks no matter how many bases you have.
