"Available alongside versus mode" got a chuckle out of me. This was amazingly done. I'd absolutely love to see an extra character added to the game, either a skaven or lizardman would be perfect
While clearing out a nest of skaven the just stumble across a lizardman on a rampage. Could even make it Nakai, because hes always travelling around killing the enemies of the lizardmen.
I'd love to see a lizardman character, particularly a Skink, because they're more versatile than the other 3 and they can actually fit in both the lore and the maps.
@@salomonofhungary5593 plus I'm pretty sure that skinks are the only lizardman type other than the slann that can learn other languages.
@@salomonofhungary5593 A Skink character could even have a Skink Priest career dedicated to magic, with a different lore of magic we have not seen yet, like Beasts or Light
Maybe Oxyotl even, considering the chaos wastes.
Now this would be the most played character if it ever came out.

That mad dog stare from saltzpyre made me laugh
The rage from Saltzpyre in the dungeon is one of the most hilarious moments I've heard. Lohner having to calm him down and stop him from turning Pusfume into a greasy smear only amplified the absurdity. He was just so funny.
I love the hidden detail that Saltzpyre was spying on pusfume when he was gearing up.

Also, love the detail of Saltz flinching when Pusfume accidentally fired out some warp fire.
Pusfume gives off a vibe similar to that of Scrat from the Ice Age - this would sell better than any other dlcs created so far! amazing, just amazing.

I think my favorite little detail in this is how Kerillian seems more angry with Lohner about recruiting Pusfume than she is angry at Pusfume for existing.

Hot damn that was so good. Saltzpyres absolutely livid face kills me, if we had a different angle it could be prime emote territory.
I am torn, on one hand I think you should get recognition for your hard work and talent, on the other I don't want GW to dispatch the fun police to put the boots to your account. (medium style of course)

@@Janfon1 from what i've seen, warhammer fantasy is safe, if you did some 40k stuff though, THEN you might be in trouble, but with this I think it's cuz Fatshark owns vermintide that they leave it alone

This is incredible work man, only thing I think you might want to add to the character concept is a way for the gang to keep him loyal such as a magical artefact made by oleysa and sienna that will explode if the word of activation is uttered and slowly disintigrate the wearer as painfully as possible. That way they can guarantee his loyalty even when he is the only one left alive in a match and a rat ogre is at his heels. Its similar to Thanquol's favourite method of keeping skaven underlings in line by blasting one with a cast of warp lightning that reduces the target to bones and dust in the most agonising way possible, therefore forcing the rest to obey despite the enormity of the dangers they face lest they suffer the same fate as the chosen victim.

I mean, if Kruber was the last one standing, wouldn't he bolt and save his own skin, too? Or Kerillian, or Bardin, or Sienna? Maybe only Saltzpyre would remain loyal to the cause until the end as he cooperates the most with Lohner and Olesya. Everyone else would become traumatized to the point of losing all hope/becoming lone wanderers/end up as their third careers. Following that logic Lohner should strap them all with bomb collars just to be sure. The fact they remain loyal of their own free will is what makes them a strong and trustworthy company - if Pusfume wore a bomb collar, it would negate his entire character development because it wouldn't matter what he thinks, he would die if he disobeyed
@@Janfon1 Its more of an issue as far as skaven nature and society is concerned the ubersreik gang's races have concepts and traditions of morality, honour, family etc. To a skaven these concepts are alien and undesired whereas scheming , betrayal, cowardice and survival-no-matter the cost are second nature. It is not a matter of if a skaven will betray you but when, a fact that the ubersreik gang are probably aware of. From there perhaps he could start to form some sort of sympathetic connection with sienna as they are both outcasts and wear chains, literal in his case, mentally in regards to holding back her powers and being outcast from all society. I like the concept of an unwilling skaven team member that is also unwanted by the team but is necessary for their survival, I think it has a lot of potential for new story and character development to be created as a result of his arrival and impact.
@@freddiewilliams3589 I could see them having something like that as insurance, but I think his backstory gives him enough desire to want the U5 alive and healthy (at least for now) as they are the only group of people on Earth who won't kill him on sight. 2 of the biggest and most powerful clans with seats on the Council want him dead and until he can ensure a seat of power for himself in the Under-Empire he will have to survive by all means necessary, including helping these foolish surface dwellers do their thing.
These kinds of ideas for cool mods like playing a traitorous Skaven ... it always makes me think that there is a lot of talent waiting to surprise us ... It's just magnificent!
Well Skaven make traitorous activity a sport so a clever traitorous one would probably team up with the übersriek five for the sake of his own safety from the skaven clans.

The amount of voice work from the original cast would be staggering, no joke. So many lines would have to be re-tooled/re-written and voiced to match Games Workshop's standards/Fatshark's
This doesn't stop me from wanting it either though!

The amount of love and detail that went into pusfume is amazing and I honestly think he could be a hugely fun sort of hybrid class type mixing up the aspects of the other classes

Poor Pusfume! He seems like such a little cinnamon roll of a Skaven and he keeps getting treated like a mascot. I hope as time goes on he gets to be a more equal member of the team. :3
A: Once again, another incredibly well animate and smooth animation. The minor details in character's expressions add so much to it.

Watching these characters interact with each other always brings me so much joy as a fan. The animation also reminds me a lot to the Medievil game cutscenes for some reason. Guess it has some spirit and passion games no longer have.

Now THIS would be a perfect reason to reinstall Vermintide 2 . I always felt bad for killing all those adorable ratties but playing one would make it way more accaptable ^^

Oh man. Janfon's animations will always be praiseworthy, but the way you spliced together pieces of audio in this one is amazing~ If I showed this to someone who hasn't played the game, they'd think this was an official scene from it.
Definitely not a 6/10 make that 10/10 IGN.
A lot of those were really, really lucky finds - Sienna talking about a goblin-lookalike with one leg was a 1/100 chance and yet here we are. This game is a goldmine

Rip rat thing another beautiful animation
I've been wanting a skaven profession forever. Even thought it would be nice to have a ratling gunner character. Engineer bardin kind of scratched that itch, but this video just makes me glad I'm not the only one
I wonder what his careers would be? Here's some ideas that come to mind:
Warlock Engineer: Ranged focus with a lot of crazy powerful weapons straight out of 40K, career skill is probably a warp lightning cannon. High risk, high reward playstyle.
Skavenslave Runaway: Glass cannon high damage melee berserker class similar to slayer, possibly with a stealth ability to make things interesting.
Stormvermin/Clanrat: Pusfume's "Tank" career with simple melee focus. Reliable and versatile in design.
Moulder Initiate: A weird career based around fighting alongside a clan moulder creature customized with your skill points. Kind of like necromancer but with just one stronger minion.
Grey Seer Heretic(DLC Class): Pusfume's spellcaster class with 2-3 magic staffs with different abilities, can be customized for ruin or plague spells.
I do love the idea of everyone else shunting being around pusfume so they dump him on kerillian because she was the only one gone.
Came back here now that Versus mode is announced, we got half of what we wanted, now we wait...
again...

Actually I really like it, if it comes with 4 careers and pvp misson/last stand versus mode, it would be a lot better then Winds of Magic, everything would be better then WoM

@@Janfon1 I don't think they would add something this big in near future that will have whole new character or new game modes, next would be Sienna's career as she is last of Ubersrike 5 without her purpose. But I really think that some kind of versus game mode will be just one fine touch that will keep game alive even after Darktide release(similar mech keeping l4d2 alive for quite awhile now). Skaven would also be nice, like cherry on top of the cake.

We either need a turncoat clan rat or warlock engineer or something, and/or a skink emissary into the old world, it could easily be made to work with either one

This has to be my favorite of your fanimations Janfon1, everything about it is professional looking and polished and I just love it so much. The story is engaging and world compliant, the characters are consistent and true to their in game counterparts, the animation is super smooth and the expressions subtle but effective. I'm also incredibly impressed by the lighting and perspective work and the voice line splicing sounds natural, like it could be an actual conversation in a quiet environment. It's obvious that you were really passionate about this project and it shows. I love all your stuff for this game but this one is by far my favorite.
personally i always wished this game had a versus mode where i could just spend all day playing as skaven trying to kill man-things yes yes.
He is, and i cannot stress this enough, JUST a little guy,
with the puritanism of saltzpyre i was expecting an absolute "NO WAY". and yes indeed his face at 0:48 make me laught so much. his whole being SCREAM to kill this living heresy.
and at 2:08 yep.... you can't hold back a boiling volcano. you get away from it as much as possible before it explode. also make me laught A LOT. and lastely 2:52 lmao xD

Yep, lore-wise instead of Olesya finding the Into The Nest map, The Ubersreik Five bully a ratman into finding the place for the promise of power. Easy bait for a Skaven, on top of Pusfume already being a public enemy for reasons described in the pdf
