The concept of freedom is multifaceted and can be evaluated based on various factors. The annual World Freedom Index by Freedom House is a well-respected ranking that considers political rights and civil liberties. Here's a glimpse at 10 countries often recognized for their freedoms
New Zealand: New Zealand consistently tops the rankings due to strong protections for civil liberties, political participation, and freedom of expression.
Denmark: Denmark boasts a long tradition of democratic values and enjoys a high level of personal autonomy and freedom of assembly.
Finland: Finland excels in political rights and civil liberties, with strong guarantees for freedom of speech, religion, and assembly.
Switzerland: Switzerland upholds strong democratic institutions and individual rights, with a high degree of freedom of speech and association.
Norway: Norway enjoys a robust democracy with exceptional civil liberties protections and a strong commitment to freedom of the press.
Sweden: Sweden safeguards political rights and civil liberties, with a long history of promoting equality and social justice.
Netherlands: The Netherlands has a long tradition of tolerance and individual liberty, with strong protections for freedom of speech and assembly.
Canada: consistently ranks high in freedom indexes. It's a multicultural country with beautiful natural scenery, strong social safety net, and two official languages: French and English.
Australia - Island continent with diverse landscapes, ranking high in freedom. Relaxed culture, vibrant cities, and rich Indigenous traditions.
Germany - Rich history, vibrant cities, scenic beauty. Engineering leader, beer lover's paradise, and art scene like no other.

Actually, Switzerland is definitely the one with low taxes, but they will charge premium for them. For example, you are legally obliged to pay health insurance there. Minimum for 4 members family would be 1000CHF per month and it covers almost nothing. So, to have health insurance that covers everything, you have to pay around 2500CHF per month which is a lot, and health insurance is just a tip of the iceberg. No matter how much money you earn, Swiss government will find a way to take it from you. Unless you’re super rich, then you will have your money well hidden. No need to mention that in Switzerland, people buy properties that they will never be able to pay off during their lifetime, but are buying them anyway because mortgages are cheaper than rent. So, all this beautiful properties and nice cars are just a facade to keep Switzerland looking like a dream land, when in reality, people own nothing and are happy about it… or not… actually, they are happy as most of them are on antidepressants that are making them happy!
