omg a solo trip to brighton is on my summer 2021 bucket list too!! solo trips are so much fun, i’m a massive advocate for solo travelling - i think i even prefer them more than travelling with people haha there’s so much more freedom i think 😌 hope your trip was fun!!
So glad I found this video! I was just on the edge of booking to go away on a solo overnight in brighton myself but wasn't sure about spending the money. This reminded me that its something worth spending money on :)

solo trips are so fun! i took myself to california for a long weekend a few years ago (i'm from the US haha) and my parents were the same, "oh surely you could find a friend to go with you?" but i just wanted to go alone, and it was such a great time. i think you learn a lot about yourself when you're traveling alone.
ALSO you make brighton look so cool, even in the rain. definitely going there next time i'm in england!
