I would avoid Turkey at all costs! I worked as guest relations across a few hotels in Istanbul last summer and one of the apartment complexes was where a lot of patients from limb-lengthening were sent to. These were patients that had serious problems or were extremely unhappy, so the surgeries would move them away from the new patients so they couldn't try and discourage them or put them off from having the surgery. It was horrific seeing all these young guys and girls with big holes in their legs all experiencing severe problems and complications from the surgery. They were all deformed looking it was like they had been butchered. I imagine a lot of patients who go to cheaper countries will be ok but there were so many that were far from ok! I wouldn't risk paying these cheaper prices in unregulated countries when it comes to your legs. I also have been watching 'The Looksmaxing channel' where that guy went to one in Turkey last year and now he is permanently crippled and living in a nursing home, very sad to see. I'd say it would be worth doing your research first and maybe spending that extra money, even if it may take a few extra years to have this done. Personally, I would never just make my decision based on what I see on social media as we all know that it's easy to make something look completely different to the actual reality.

@@thebrightstar3634 Funnily enough, Dr Yuksel did the surgery on that Looksmaxxing guy I recently discovered on youtube. After watching this guys journey and what unfortunately happened to him would more than enough put me off going to him. I can only give information based on my experience of what I saw in the hotel (which I believe had patients from more than 1 clinic). It wasn't pleasant to say the least. Like I said, I'm sure many are ok after but there was too many that had serious complications from doing this. Remember that it is mainly done to help children with birth deformities, rather than for cosmetic reasons. Which is why most western countries like the UK and US are reluctant to do this for the wrong reasons due to the risk involved. I know people would feel better with reassurances that they will be fine and have no issues, but that isn't really the reality of going to cheap places. You get what you pay for.

I am thinking about doing this procedure to reach a height of 182/183 however I am right now at 173, perhaps 6 cm femur and then 4 cm tibia a year after?
