This was my first Mario game I’ve ever played and the first game and console I ever personally owned. When I was 4, this was just the best way to escape from it all. The A button is really hard to press nowadays, so I can’t play this game anymore. I’m kind of happy about that because then I won’t find any of the negative or drab things about this game. Sure, this isn’t my favorite, but I still gush over it. P.S: Mario Kart 7’s Rainbow Road is better than Double Dash. Just putting it out there.

I enjoyed this track in 7, but 8 really brought it out its full potential. They shrank that annoying wall right after the first curve, gave the visuals a complete overhaul, and made the final turn, the most boring part of the course, antigravity. I've always been a sucker for futuristic cities with rain tbh.
