He's got all the attributes of being a great central midfielder, he's got accurate pass,stamina,can make crucial tackles,can resist the pressure,make those late runs into the box.. The only thing that he lacks for me is dictating the tempo of the game (slow the game,wait for the opponents to come out of their defensive zone), but his long passes are gonna be useful.❤
Please check his assist stats, im not impress, i didn't see his defensive stats, and again chiefs don't need defensive midlefielder
I don't think he is a defensive midfielder. The boy is more like a deep playmaker. His duties are exactly that to nullify the press and release an offense. We are yet to see if he will be complimented by his fellow teammates though.

I'm afraid he's gonna find it hard to find his footing,considering how skillful he is. Remember that at chiefs we haven't yet found a good reader of the game, something that Castillo will need. He's a quick thinker and will need someone who's on the same page as him. I hope Billiat will stay injury-free coz I think he's the only player who can complement him. But overall, he's great!

Ubhemi archer wena PSL isn't Motsepe League where you will be marked direct man 2 man in the PSL they use spaces to mark which gives you a space as a player to decide l know not all clubs will do that sone they use second division style which is to close the spaces like you are saying

According to this video, it won't matter even if you man mark him.😢 With this skills he will probably humiliate the defender. He can play as deep playmaker as well stringing few passes when you think of closing him down boom he changes the field and area of attack. He can launch a long ball eliminating the entire defence to create one on ones with a keeper.

The best playmakers in our SA football history were not quick either. Think Scara Ngobese, Doctor Khumalo, Tebogo Moloi, Bashin Mahlangu. It's the ability to be influential in midfield, accurate passing, reading the game and confidence on the ball that counts. The problem lies with KC - they've lost the very philosophy that made them famous.
