    Uriah's weakness is his mind. He needs to learn to harness only his useful thoughts. You can see he is not being first in the tempo of sparring, because he is thinking too much. Wasted thoughts filling the space for proper thoughts. Physically he has it all. I hope Uriah can train his mind, because that is his only glaring weakness. Needs to learn to take command of his mind and the action. You see the brief moments when he does, the tempo changes in his favour more so. If he has a moment of success, you see him get more spring in his step, until he starts to think again. Really like both of these guys.

    Awesome video. Lyoto's style is so fun to watch. Those leg sweeps he uses are killer. Uriah is a good striker but he needs to put all of the elements of MMA together when he is in the cage. I haven't been too impressed with him lately but I think he will continue to improve. Machida looks awesome at 185. He will be one of the few to ever hold a belt in two different divisions. He has been fighting bigger guys at 205 when he actually belonged at 185. That is why I consider him pound for poundGOAT

    Nice little sparring session between two of my fav fighters but I do not understand why whoever is videoing did not follow the action whenever it goes out of frame. Was this a closed training session and cameras supposed to be turned off? Seems real weird to not follow out of frame action or turn camera on wide angle.

    • @universalmartialartscenter360
      @universalmartialartscenter360 8 лет назад +11

      Both of you idiots, Jesus Christ.... For starters they're sparring lightly. They're not trying to kill each other. Hall knows better than to open up on a seasoned and naturally faster counter striker such as Machida.
      And the body protector was so that Hall could work on his techniques on Machidas body. Machida is helping Uriah which is why he's padded down to allow Uriah to strike at him.
      How can two "fans" reach such a cool and hidden mma video and yet be so uneducated in martial arts, is beyond me.

    Hall is a very talented man, very dangerous and the fact that he doesn't put 100% on his moves while sparring shows how dangerous he can really be. Hall doesn't lack heart, he's a very humble guy who doesn't like hurting people, if he had that killer instinct he'd put everyone in the hospital

    • @RJavier007

    • @rolandos8510
      @rolandos8510 9 лет назад +2

      Javier Rodriguez uhh..how about yes? Uriah Hall is an animal...if he had the killer instinct of someone like a Vitor Belfort, the dude would be more of an animal than he already is. His K.O of Adam on TUF..really hindered him mentally as a fighter, he's a nice guy and doesn't like hurting people. He lost two SPLIT DECISIONS by literally not trying to hurt his opponents. Since then he's been putting it together by TKO'in Chris Leben, a guy known for taking punishment and won a fight by fighting with a broken toe against Thiago Santos.

    • @manz92
      @manz92 10 лет назад +9

      I doubt it, Hall has great striking offence, but not so great defence, Machida has both, so he would eventually catch Hall

    • @chasepennoh9009
      @chasepennoh9009 10 лет назад +2

      Nah Uriah is good but against an extremely unorthodox Machida, nah, plus Machida would catch him at one point and rush him to an end.
