- Sounds kinda like an obvious video to make, but I guess I just never did. As the wait continues for Season 11 of the series, I'm here to tell you all the character runbacks that I most want to see on DEATH BATTLE! There are a lot to choose from and many that you could make a good case for getting another fight, so I've limited it to one fighter per franchise and am choosing what's most personal to me. I can agree with seeing Michelangelo come back, and seeing jay would be great to, but doom slayer is my most wanted returner. I don’t much care who he is against, I just want modern coverage. Also, don’t feel bad about Scorpion being your favourite, we aren’t basic, just edgy.

Fun Fact: Galactus VS Unicron is the second Death Battle where the characters straight up destroy the entire planet right as the battle is starting, the first is Beerus VS Galaxia
Kratos feels like the most deserving. He's went through incredible character growth in the recent games with plenty of new weopons and abilities. Plus his most popular opponent is Asura so that would bring in a new series
It's pretty much confirmed that he will return at some point since Death Battle put Kratos vs. Asura both in the Champion's Poll for Season 10 and the Tournament of Champions for Season 11.
I’d say Spider-Man is my most wanted returning DB combatant. The other Spider-Men are all awesome, but as you said Rappter, we have unfinished business with Peter Parker. As for other combatants, I’m not super picky, but I think I’d like to see Princess Peach make a return, especially with her new game coming out so soon. This would give her a better analysis and possibly a better fight than what we had with Zelda

5: Spawn - Pretty much everything you said was spot on. He's a character that NEEDS to come back with a fresher outlook and, with today's ressources, he can give such a badass fight... Spawn VS Ghost Rider FTW!
4: Bane - Kind of like Deathstroke for you, Bane is my favourite DC villain. And while I don't have a problem with Venom VS Bane (Yes, despite the connexions being mostly a pun and the HELL that is its animation, my emotions toward it is "Eh."), I feel like Bane could have a comeback against someone that's more on his level, both power and character-wise. If there's anything his first appearance had goign for it, it was his characterization for me. He was intimidating, ruthlessly clever, had a great voice and badass lines. So imagine what he can bring in an episode that is remotely good.
3: Donatello - Kind of like Michelangelo (although his treatment wasn't NEARLY as bad), Donnie could use a solo episode that gives him a little deeper treatment. But I think he's the most interesting to bring back due to all his gadgets and custom weapons he whipped up across his history that makes him stand out more than any of his brothers. I'm a HUGE fan of him fighting Coco from Crash Bandicoot because she's a character I'm also a big fan of and I just love the connexions and personalities these two can provide to the show.
2: Kratos - Despite only having played the Greek era of God of War games and having a lot of memories of it. Like you said, he has changed in so many aspects that bringing him back will feel like a straight up new character. At least Doomslayer still FEELS true to his old boomer-shooter self despite being more fleshed out and powerful. Meanwhile, even if Kratos VS Spawn was the most banger episode of season 1, this version of Kratos will NEVER return on Death Battle. Hell, I wouldn't even count Kratos as a "returning" character for Death Battle with how different of a vibe he has now. We can't even give him his old greek weapons since he lost them all !
1: Bowser - Just Bowser, I don't really care who he fights. It can be Eggman, it can be Lord Hater, it can be Godzilla, it can be Ganondorf again for all I care as long as we get Bowser. He's my favourite character ever, I've grown up with him as sort of a fictional father figure and he means a lot to me on a LOT of levels. So more Bowser is always a winner for me because he's such a fun character to analyse, talk and theorize about him. (bonus point if he wins because I was kind of sad to see him die last time :'( )

As much as I like the idea, I don't want to see Godzilla lose and at the same time I don't want another L for hulk, bro deserves a win.
I know it was in the Championship Polls didn't stand a chance since everyone knew who would be in the finals. I don't know if it will be in again or they'll make it into a Death Battle, the cast had talked about it. I guess the future will see.

I would like Edward Elric and Blake Belladonna to return due to my fascination with their matchups with Johnny Joestar and Kamen Rider Faiz respectively
I think Toph (Avatar the Last Airbender) should return and face a character I wanted to see in Death Battle, and that's Terra (DC/Teen Titans). That match-up has been in my mind since 2008 or 2009 before Death Battle became a thing.
Toph vs Terra sounds like an earthquake of matchup, even though they both have earth controlling powers, I’d say Toph will get a another victory. The thing is Terra couldn’t fully control her powers, but still I think it’ll be a cool fight to see.
They chose the characters at their best, Terra in some comics have better control of her power, and doesnt even need to touch the ground manipulate the earth, she can move it like telekinesis, so it is very interesting.
It is interesting, I’ve only seen Terra in Teen Titans

I would love Spider-Man back on, but his... less than stellar catalogue of ideas for a re-run does hamper it for me. Especially when my preferred, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, is a literal who to the general public and is probably only really known for being Booster Gold's friend.

I want to see The Joker, The Shredder and The Mask return on death battle, The Joker is my favorite DC villain and i would die smiling seeing him back on the battle field, i don't know who would be his challenger or who i want them to be with, but i still want to see the clown prince of crime back. For The Shredder its because he is an interesting villain because of his history of interactions based on each show film etc. Seeing his new updates from those sources, it'll be fun to find out which Shredder death battle would choose from. Again, i don't know which opponent he'll be facing, but still I'll wait to see him rise back from the sewers. As for The Mask, it'll be fun to to see his crazy and wacky shenanigans back on screen, even leaving a cliffhanger at his first battle, i want his opponent to be the ghost with the most himself Beetlejuice.
Tommy Oliver needs a return imo, he honestly got snubbed imo. As much as I love Tigerzord vs Epyon and Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla, Tommy needs a win. Tommy Oliver vs Lloyd Garmadon is the one I'd want the most out of his mus.

When I saw the title I thought "didn't you do this video before?" Lol I think I was thinking of the favorite DB combatants one. Either way this was a fun watch and I agree with your picks. I'll say I want to see Joker again but I admit that's almost entirely personal lol.

Kirby. He appeared in season 2 in an episode where people ignored the quality of it just because Buu lost. Kirby has so much potential with his abilities and with all the games since making it super interesting.

Mewtwo vs Shadow to me is just the best matchup they have for each other, and I don’t think I’d mind shadow coming back for a 4th time if it meant the episode could get the opportunity to be the best it could be. I’ve got some ideas for it.
Imagine if the fight took place on the island and lab where Mewtwo was created. Shadow throughout the fight picks up on details and clues about what happened here and what Mewtwo is, eventually discovering Mewtwo’s history and becoming empathetic for them.
Mewtwo never got his memories back so maybe reading Shadow’s thoughts and past heightens his feelings of emptiness and confusion so he just continues to lash out.
Maybe have some wild pokemon and the little animal critters or Chao get put in danger as a result of their fighting and that’s when they both transform for a brief truce to save them.
If Mewtwo wins have it as a fall from space with Shadow’s final words to Mewtwo being “Is this what Amber would’ve wanted?” The name means nothing to him, but why does it still make Mewtwo think anyways? He continues to brood in a bitter sweet ending that depicts that possibly this interaction with Shadow was the missing link to putting the puzzle pieces of his past together.
I believe that most, if not all, of Season 1 deserves an honorary remake & rematch season. All of the matches in which the winner changes would get a rematch where as all of the ones in which the winner stays the same would get a remake.

Ghostrider vs Spawn is my personal most requested episode rn. I think it has a solid chance of happening in season 11, but it’ll happen at season 12 at the latest
The character that I would love to see come back after getting massively disrespected hard to hell thanks to a certain running gag that made him and his series a complete joke goes to the Grim Reaper himself, Ragna the Bloodedge from the BlazBlue series like if anyone needs to make a redemption, it's him given how his original episode with Sol Badguy just made him a complete joke with the "No One Knows" gag. As for his next opponent, well I feel like Velvet Crowe from the Tales series would be interesting to see.
I like the list some that I would add for what I would like in order:
1. Shredder. He is a total badass and deserves another DB. I understand his main opponent is Ra's Al Ghul and if he wins, he would be the first combatant to beat both a Marvel AND DC character. Think about that...
2. Zero. I was going to mention X or any other Megaman version, but u covered him in the bonus section. Zero also deserves another fight and would be curious covering more material like the Zero series and such.
3. Tifa. Let's admit it she got screwed harder than almost anyone else on this show. She deserves better.
4. Luigi. His last episode was 9 years ago.....

For Starscream, he deserves a better matchup, like him against Metal-Face from Xenoblade Chronicles, also Godzilla may deserve a kaiju battle royale between him, Gamera, and *King Kong* as well!!!
Late to the party on this one, but barring the ones you already brought up, I'd put Yang up there as well.
Sure, she's similar to Ben 10 in that I don't want it to be toxic (and Ruby herself should probably get hers before Yang's runback), but it's been 8 years since that episode, and she has 3 extremely solid MUs ready to go (even if one of them would draw toxicity in his own right...).
I'm happy that when you suggested Mewtwo you didn't want to have him fight Frieza like a lot of people want him to. I would like to see Mike Haggar or Zangeif come back, a couple of strange choices I know but I would love to see Death Battle do a wrestling episode not like Macho Man vs Kool Aid Man but something similar to Balrog vs TJ Combo. Another character I'd like to see in Death Battle again even though he probably doesn't have a lot of options is Kenshiro from Fist of The North Star.
My most wanted fight for Spidey has got to be Bumblebee from transformers, I think it has the most potential for an animation, even if the connections between them are pretty vague. Plus it would be a great opportunity to have Pete use some of his more high tech suits in the fight, like the iron spider.

As a Ben 10 fan, I think the community on both sides has died down quite a bit in toxicity. If Ben ever does return, I have higher hopes that both communities can be civil about it and the result.

I agree with most of the characters returning (the ones I personally know, at least). As for my personal returns, these are my picks:
- Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Goliath from Gargoyles fighting each other.
- Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and Kratos fighting each other.
- Yang Xiao Long from RWBY returning to fight Leone from Akame ga Kill! or Sonya Blade (who'd be returning as well).
- Captain America returing to fight Kamen Rider Ichigo.
- Carnage from Marvel returning to fight Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia.
- Lex Luthor returning to fight Norman Osborn/Green Goblin
- Ben Tennyson from Ben 10 and Steven Universe from Steven Universe fighting each other.
- SpongeBob fighting Gumball.
- Shredder from TMNT returning to fight against Ra's al Ghul

My most wanted return is The Joker. I think he really wasn't explored as much as he should've and he is an iconic villain. Joker VS Sweet tooth was a good episode for Sweet Tooth and there respective vehicles, not Joker. I would be so happy to see a proper Horrific episode that would only be complete with a very brutal kill. Not necessarily a gory kill but it needs to make you think "oh shit" when it happens. I don't know who his opponent would be but I would be so exited to see Death battle make Joker scary.

I'd love to see Shang Tsung and M. Bison come back. Ever since MK11 (in my opinion) made Shang Tsung cool again, he's been one of my favorite MK characters. I don't have a good matchup for him off the top of my head, but we haven't seen him since literally the second episode.
As for M. Bison, I feel less strongly about him but I think Bison vs Rugal Bernstein from King of Fighters could be cool, though I admit that this is more because I would like to see Rugal on the show and I think Bison might be the best opponent for him.

Here my top 10 returning fighters that death battle hopefully could use again in season 11. Ps the comment might be long so sorry.
10. Ken masters (street fighter): me personally I am a big fan of street fighter and Ken as a character but the way they used him in death battle was in my opinion a bit unfair, the reason being is because that Terry (i think that was who he was fighting) seemed very overpowered and I think they only picked him because he suited the visual aspect of the fight. Hope to see Ken make a comeback.
9. Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat): Like Ken, Johnny didn’t feel like he had much of a chance against captain falcon. Plus i don’t really get the matchup that well. Honestly not much to say.
8. Tommy Oliver (power rangers) Both of Tommy’s episodes featured him and his zords. But I think he’d be better without the zords, the guy is a master martial artist and is one of if not the strongest power ranger ever. Like Jason he should come back for an another chance.
7. Ryuko (kill la kill) I am not a big fan of anime overall but I feel like ryuko should come back because I think that death battle pitted her against shadow was just because of the fact that shadow likes her.
6. Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal) Like Ken sweet tooth only suited the visual aspect of the fight when he fought joker. In my opinion I feel like sweet tooth deserved better.
5. Knuckles (sega/sonic) Don’t get me wrong I liked that donkey kong defeated knuckles but like what you said about some of the characters like ‘doom guy’ they had a lot of new things added to them, with knuckles I feel like he has a couple of different powers when he showed up in the second sonic movie.
4. Wolverine (Marvel) The battle with Raiden and Logan was okay but the visual aspect strikes again. They only pitted Logan against raiden probably because they are both blade users. Not much to add.
3. Luigi (Nintendo/mario) Luigi is overall in my opinion is honestly better than mario he is just such a cool and funny character I feel like he should have a rematch with tails or a fight against someone with a similar visual aspect and personality like shaggy for example.
2. Sub Zero (mortal kombat) Like street fighter I love mortal kombat and sub zero as a character but I felt like his fight with the ice alien (I forgot his name) was a bit meh in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong the fight was good but i feel like it should’ve been 3D instead of 2D. Hope to see the ice ninja in a future episode.
1. Ben 10 (Cartoon Network) I am just going to say this right of the bat. Ben should not have been nerfed in the episode he was in. The end credits of his episode was BS they missed so much info and overlooked most of Ben’s feats look at the ink tank for more info they would probably explain it a lot better. So yeah Ben 10 deserves another chance.
Again sorry that the comment was too long, but there are my top 10 combatants that should make a return.
For Tommy Oliver I’d have Lloyd Garmadon, cuz they both are well skilled fighters that were originally created or born and trained by the villains of the series (Rita Repulsa and Lord Garmadon) respectively.

I really want to see Captain America back on the show, given that its been almost a decade since his first appearance, the other main four Avengers have made multiple appearances and "Batman vs. Captain America" was... yeah. I know that one of the Kamen Riders is a common match-up for him, but I personally think All-Might (My Hero Academia) could be interesting: both are paragons of the justice and the human spirit, All-Might's attacks are named after America, etc. (Bonus idea for the fight track name: Smashin' America)
Comic Book characters are weird, I do love the idea of Captain America vs. All Might, but they're always weird things that happen like, “Oh, this character has destroyed the entire multiverse several times over in a blink of an eye.”
Cap vs All Might is one of the worst mismatches ever.

both of them had a death battle before and i think putting them against each other makes sense
i know they have more popular match ups with characters that are more similar to them but i think Fox and Tails are similar enough to fight each other but also different enough to be interesting

8:12 I came up with a fight that is honestly kinda better yet not even looked over that isn't Mickey vs Bugs.
It's Mickey AND Donald vs Bugs AND Daffy. I just don't get why people look over the chance for an awesome return of 2v2 battles?
I mean technically we could pit Natsu up against other Mashima protagonists like Haru Glory from Rave Master or Shiki from Eden Zero. They have a few crossover bouts already but no definitive winner as of yet.
Personally think Shiki gravity powers are likely busted with the sheer difference in scope of the space setting wouldn't be fair against Natsu and Haru, but then again I don't know any of their peaks.
The only character I can think of for Natsu's opponent is Tsuna from REBORN! They came out around the same time, the shounens have many of the same themes explored, and while they both have a lot of similar abilities at face value they are still distinctive enough to make a really flashy fight, but as much as I love Tsuna, he never got a time skip buff, Fairy Tail has gone on far longer so time skip Natsu probably can curb stomps him.
On top of my head, flame manipulation, flame maneuverability, a flying pet lion that transforms into weapon and defense, can negate/seal flames with ice, also get a buff when absorbing flames. And this isn't even touching the manga upgrades and power ups.
I still think Natsu wins, but the fight has plenty of material to work with physically, narrative of and personalities are so distinctly different they would be fun to bounce off one another
Am I the only one who noticed that the final climax of Goku vs Superman 3 is the exact same as sponebob vs superfriends aquaman?
Let say Goku get another death battle but it has to be xeno/GT Goku
Zero, Dante, Sora, Chun-Li, Yang, and Ivy should all return too
What I really want the most to return is Tails.
My most wanted matchup is Tails vs Coco Bandicoot and it's a matchup that I really want to see happen. And I just hope we don't get Tails vs Luigi rematch or Diddy Kong because I despise those matchups.

As far as I’m concerned the best opponent for Natsu is not Luffy but rather Meliodas for 7DS. Honestly have a bit more connections with Natsu than Luffy and those two have been paired together alot by their parent magazine

I also feel as If deku and asta should return and fight different opponents, since asta very out of character in the episode and couldn’t use all his hax since deku doesn’t have magic, asta should probably fight Meliodas so he can use his full kit and deku should definitely fight gon from hxh because contrary to popular belief deku and gon have way more connections then “green and punch hard” plus the fight potential and dynamic is much better then deku vs asta since deku and gon have very similar fighting styles and counters for each others abilities.
I think Sephiroth could come back to fight Loki. I know people want Loki to fight Kefka but I think Sephiroth could be a better opponent, they have more connections and the contrast between both characters could be fun also I like the idea of Sephiroth trying the same supernova move on Loki only for it to not work cos Loki can shift between dimensions on a whim.

Sonic deserves an actual fair death battle. And I’m talking about game Sonic. Sonic Vs Mario 2 was practically pointless, and if you ask me they should have done Sonic vs Goku instead of Goku VS Superman 3.

I agree with Natsu since Fairy Tail has only gotten one win out of the three match-ups. I want to see characters like He-Man, Lion-O, Edward Elric, and Ryuko Matoi; I think a lot of these characters were in lackluster episodes; He-Man and Lion-O were in Season 2, which is so early in Death Battle's History. Ed was in such a bad episode; he and Aang were done dirty in their Death Battle; after The Doctor vs. Rick, I can see him and Aang having a better episode. Not against each other, and Ryuko was just put against Shadow so he could've gotten a win. I believe she would've been fun to watch fight against some like Golden Darkness (To Love-Ru.) Now that we are doing Archie Versions, I can see Knuckles or Tails having a return against the likes of Juggernaut vs. Archie Knuckles.

I honestly think Sonic deserves another chance. I don't like how he was portrayed in MvS 2018 and the Death Race at all, and MvS 2011 and Flash vs. Sonic range from mediocre to fine at best.
TBH, all Fairy Tail combatants deserve better episodes.
Natsu vs Luffy is my pick for him but I like Recca Hanabishi as an alt. But it'll probably play out like Ace, as I don't think Recca can do much damage to Natsu.
Gray vs Sub-Zero looks appealing, you can kill two birds with one block of ice by getting two returning combatants.
Erza had a good episode but she needs to come back. I see Saber and Mitsuru as her opponents but I'm still iffy of who I pick.

I absolutely love Ben Tennyson as a character & I love the show. But I never ever wanna see death battle touch the character again. I hate how toxic the fandom has become ever since Ben vs Hal came out. I feel like the Ben 10 community was a very niche group before that episode
My number 1 return combatant will be Deku! After Deku versus Asta, it was pretty satisfying to see an another My Hero Academia character come over, which had to be the protagonist!
But, while i do hope Death Battle brings more My Hero Academia characters to the show, i think Deku needs some comeback and a little payback, no not against Asta or Itadori. But believe it or not, i think Midoriya still needs a second chance. Maybe against Gon from Hunter X Hunter or Miles Morales and Kamala Khan from Marvel.
I honestly like the idea of Midoriya Izuku vs. Iruma Suzuki. But I doubt it will happen.
I feel like most of My Hero Academia characters are a little too basic, like most characters from that series is city level and I believe Death Battle is waiting for the series to end before doing another match up. There are match-ups I want like
Dot Barrett (Mashle: Magic and Muscles) vs. Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia)
But it pains me knowing that one of my favorite series A Certain Magical Index might never return to Death Battle.

@@sabatonfightervlogsgachaun5949 In their podcast they said Mikoto Misaka might be the last time they cover the series when ranking the matches for the season which sucks. I hope that's not true, seeing how there are tons of matches for that world and the science itself was already explained in the series so the research is a bit easier.

Game Sonic Should come back as well cause 1 Sonic now has a completely new skill set instead of using his speed, homing attack and spin dash 2 he has 2 new forms super sonic 2 and cyber sonic 3 if I were to put sonic against someone I would go for either Naruto or Goku my pick would be goku cause sonic is around goku's level! also its better than putting Mario against sonic again cause sonic can now crush Mario, since mainline 616 Spider-Man is too powerful for ladybug I suggest that we put Ultimate Spider-Man from the Disney XD Show against ladybug cause thats a more better pick and terms of much better power scaling and experience.
