I think I'd love being a trucker. I worked as a construction worker for a bit and one thing I loved about it is that you get to go to different places often.

Natasha, just a suggestion, drop down to I 40 or I 10 and then cut north west of the Rockies when running CA loads duringthewintermonths. More miles, but you're not stuck waiting on I 80 to reopen. Look at Block Weights on Amazon. 100 lbs to 200 lbs and can be adjusted in 2.5 lb increments. Silver is a great company. No regrets whatsoever about coming over here. Sorry to hear about the break. Flatbed can be rough. Take care and God Bless....
I would much rather deal with snow on i70 or i80 than ice and wind on i40 lol. I hate i40 during winter storms. No one knows how to drive there. So many crashes. I avoid it if I see snow storm coming towards OK, TX, NM and AZ

I like how you aren't scared of deadhead. A lot of truckers are. I live in florida, and I never once have hauled Florida freight LOL and deadhead up to Georgia every time. Better to do some deadhead and get a better paying load. When I first got in a trucking though I did car haul, sometimes in car haul you are deadheading all the way back to where you loaded the last load

It’s the immigrants that built this country not us Americans were too lazy and think the world owes us the universe . Idk one American kid this day and age that every job they work they’re too tired and only working the bare minimum. For real, Socal pays low. I'm a company driver that does west coast . It's very busy and it's a pain in the ass. Funny how that works.

Lods to mexico are very commun for mx trucker drivers both directions, crossing border will be the future of the industry(i believe) for truckes both side of the border
I use Dat load board and Uber freight, I'm always looking for a better load board, it seems like all the criminal brokers are on DAT
There’s a lot of scammers on dat just check their credit score before booking, truck stop is another good load board too

I use dat, Uber, JB 360, XPO, Navisphere, Convoy, and coyote go.
Do you think using all those apps you find better loads?
Yeah. But to maximize your rate, keep an eye on when the load picks up. The closer to the pickup time the more money you can squeeze out of them. I try to run as many expedited loads that I can find.
Sure hope the crusty old DUDES aren't watching. 23:40 to 23:48They were out there long before you were born little lady keeping our country going and some were making videos about it as well. I know they would be the first to offer help if you needed it or even encouragement. If they had done something to deserve the title be different. be safe out there and be nice to all. It goes a long way.

We drive slowly before you get on the freeway to try get as much of it off before being around other cars, also a lot of time the sun melts all of it in the morning

It is a dangerous profession you really have to keep your head on a swivel but as always I do stress how much it will change your life so long as you keep safety as #1 no matter what 😊

Have u sent a load to Medline? I work at medline as a warehouse worker and I unload trailers as a receiver @ medline & see a lot of trucks with live loads every day
