This is such a great video! Great choice of relaxing music and ocean sounds! I’ve been cleaning the house all day playing this on my TV. Every time I walk by the painting has progressed. And when I sit down and watch her paint it’s like: paint blob-paint blob-blending brush-BOOM water! So cool!
What kind of oil paints do you use? Are they water soluble?
Oh and how long did it take you to do the underpainting? Also 6 hours? How long did you let it dry before painting over it?
I'm so glad you've enjoyed this video! I just use normal oil paitns and thin them with a little bit of Liquin! The under layer was just acrylics so it took me maybe a half hour to paint and another half hour to dry. I honesttly didn't bother to wait between drying times and do a lot of my work "Alla prima".
