The way Chicago and their coach have acted has made it very hard for me to appreciate their team. Positivity equals growth. Being negative and petty just fights against that growth.

Most of the people who post mean things about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are not real basketball fans. Instead, they are people who buy anything race-related because they are miserable losers and need to share their feelings of sorrow with the world.
In a way, playing the Wings after playing the Sky was refreshing. Wings gave the Fever all they could handle WITHOUT multiple cheap shots against Clark.
I’ve not seen one cheap shot. I’ve seen aggressive play for the first time in its existence. I’ve seen people coddling an average (for a girl) player get so much hype. She’s like the Kamala of basketball. All hope no substance.

It feels like the team is finding their identity. Early in the season it felt like they were driving the proverbial Lamborghini at 30mph in a rural road with all the slow transitions and predominance of post plays. Now there is a lot of movement, cut to the basket, pick and rolls that take advantage of teams selling out on either doubling Clark or having a defender glued to her all the time, so the other players can play 4 on 4 or even 4 on 3 basketball.
When we say CC turned around the worst org in the wnba we really mean it. June 9, 2019 was the last time the fever were above .500 when they started the season 3-2...Until they beat Dallas yesterday to move to 17-16.

The Wings are a hard out. Arike was incredible, the whole team gave the Fever a challenge with Mitchell and Clark having their A games. The Fever were trailing much of the game but they just made a few more buckets and got a few more stops near the end. Arike had 24 points in the first half then 10 in the second half. Mitchell had 36 and Clark 28 with 12 assists. But nice to see a hard fought but clean game without any of the nonsense that went on in the Chicago/Fever or Sun/Fever games.
I don't understand why Dallas record is 9-22 because they are a solid team with some strong masculine players and they have the best player with Arike in the league, even CC said Arike is the best. If Dallas makes the playoffs, they're going to be hard to beat and I'm sure CC doesn't want to play them in a series.
Satou Sabally has just returned from off season surgery for Dallas. She averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds for them last year, is averaging 20 points since she came back, and is a crucial piece for Dallas. Similar to how Atlanta are suddenly doing really well since the return of their point guard post Olympic break. Dallas and Atlanta, who are now both healthy, are charging. I think the Mystics got someone back too but can't remember
When it comes to “value” to the league, CC is the most valuable by a long shot. Viewerships going up, ticket sales, merch sales, popularity, .. everything in the wnba has gone up because of her. If she leaves the league goes back to the shadows. CC is the true MVP

The downfall of some angel Reese fans has been fun to watch. Went from Caitlin is inefficient, to Caitlin isn’t winning games, to Caitlin hasn’t broken any records yet, to angel will be in the playoffs, to rebounds are harder than assists and now it’s just share the rookie of the year award😂😂 The only award angel Reese should win is rebounder of the year which she definitely deserves.
Reese teammates are running away from her (Dana Evens/Marina Mabrey) and Reese’s best efforts have not translated into team wins. Their locker room is a hot mess. 40 percent of her offense rebounds are her own misses CC’s play has made her team better which has translated into team wins! For the first time in 6 years her team is above 500. CC’s leadership as fashioned the bunch players into a cohesive unit who are enjoying playing the game together. Remember, CC is rookie, who played late in the College National Championship Game. So she had a very little time to rest between joining the WNBA. Plus the fever played a ton of back to back at the beginning of the season. Now, the Fever/CC have less games and time to rest as the regular season comes to an end. CC is now the ROY period. and will probably end with 20-10-5.
The omission from Olympic team gave CC her first rest and time to reset. People forget CC literally went into straight into WNBA from finals with very little time to train with her team, while in NBA recruits get summer training and league plus more pre-season games. CC was always going to be great, she just needed time
Once the rest of the team bought into Clarks skill and leadership, everything has gotten bigger,better and faster. They are willing and able to run the way Clark wants to.
I am not a Caitlin Clark hater, but I am a UConn fan. So, I wasn't some massive fan of hers coming into the pros. But she has won me over. She has been way better than I expected. And if she stays healthy, it seems like she will be the best guard ever. Come over to her side and acknowledge her skill now. Don't delay the inevitable. And I believe Kelsey Mitchell is #2 all time in 3 pointers made in ncaa wbb behind only CC 22! Two of the top shooters in NCAA WBB history are on the Fever ! Caitlin gave the whole team a spark. She got them playing as a team. They are having fun. Playing in front of sellout crowds every night. The are developing a bond, a chemistry together as a team. They are balling. One thing Caitlin does is make everyone around her better. Its one of those things Caitlin has about her that you cant see. Its not on a stat line. But its there! But Kelsey Mitchell has been better than good for a long time.
The game between the Wings and Fever was some awesome basketball, and everyone should give a shoutout to the Wings for being a classy team. They played hard, but none of the players took the floor with the intention of hurting Caitlin Clark (I'm looking at you, Chicago Sky). Having Nancy Lieberman provide the analysis instead of Swoopes was refreshing.
I was at the game we were also rooting for Arike to have an amazing game she started off 5/5 from 3 I said she gonna go All Star mode. Great game all around glad Fever won and Arike balled out that is the type of game win or lose you don't hold your head down because you gave us a show will def be buying more tickets and going in the future. It feels like the team is finding their identity. Early in the season it felt like they were driving the proverbial Lamborghini at 30mph in a rural road with all the slow transitions and predominance of post plays. Now there is a lot of movement, cut to the basket, pick and rolls that take advantage of teams selling out on either doubling Clark or having a defender glued to her all the time, so the other players can play 4 on 4 or even 4 on 3 basketball.
When we say CC turned around the worst org in the wnba we really mean it. June 9, 2019 was the last time the fever were above .500 when they started the season 3-2...Until they beat Dallas yesterday to move to 17-16.

The Wings are a hard out. Arike was incredible, the whole team gave the Fever a challenge with Mitchell and Clark having their A games. The Fever were trailing much of the game but they just made a few more buckets and got a few more stops near the end. Arike had 24 points in the first half then 10 in the second half. Mitchell had 36 and Clark 28 with 12 assists. But nice to see a hard fought but clean game without any of the nonsense that went on in the Chicago/Fever or Sun/Fever games.

Satou Sabally has just returned from off season surgery for Dallas. She averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds for them last year, is averaging 20 points since she came back, and is a crucial piece for Dallas. Similar to how Atlanta are suddenly doing really well since the return of their point guard post Olympic break. Dallas and Atlanta, who are now both healthy, are charging. I think the Mystics got someone back too but can't remember

Reese teammates are running away from her (Dana Evens/Marina Mabrey) and Reese’s best efforts have not translated into team wins. Their locker room is a hot mess. 40 percent of her offense rebounds are her own misses
CC’s play has made her team better which has translated into team wins! For the first time in 6 years her team is above 500. CC’s leadership as fashioned the bunch players into a cohesive unit who are enjoying playing the game together.

Remember, CC is rookie, who played late in the College National Championship Game. So she had a very little time to rest between joining the WNBA.
Plus the fever played a ton of back to back at the beginning of the season.
Now, the Fever/CC have less games and time to rest as the regular season comes to an end. CC is now the ROY period. and will probably end with 20-10-5.
The omission from Olympic team gave CC her first rest and time to reset. People forget CC literally went into straight into WNBA from finals with very little time to train with her team, while in NBA recruits get summer training and league plus more pre-season games. CC was always going to be great, she just needed time

I had no idea who Caitlin Clark or any of these WNBA players were...except for Sue Bird and only because I live in WA State and went to one of her games. I am now a true blue Fever Fan watching every Fever game. Kelsey Mitchell is also the bomb but honestly, that whole team is just jelling as one and they are all awesome to watch play together!

Playing in front of sellout crowds every night. The are developing a bond, a chemistry together as a team. They are balling. One thing Caitlin does is make everyone around her better. Its one of those things Caitlin has about her that you cant see. Its not on a stat line. But its there! But Kelsey Mitchell has been better than good for a long time.
The game between the Wings and Fever was some awesome basketball, and everyone should give a shoutout to the Wings for being a classy team. They played hard, but none of the players took the floor with the intention of hurting Caitlin Clark (I'm looking at you, Chicago Sky). I was at the game we were also rooting for Arike to have an amazing game she started off 5/5 from 3 I said she gonna go All Star mode. Great game all around glad Fever won and Arike balled out that is the type of game win or lose you don't hold your head down because you gave us a show will def be buying more tickets and going in the future. It was also my wife's first pro event and she never screams and when Clark hit back to back 3s she was screaming.
Catylyn can shot, has amazing passing skills. Court awareness, and what nobody talks about handles. She can dice you up with her game. Unc, I’ve disagreed with you a ton over the years. What I love about you is your passion for sports. You can genuinely tell you love sports and are so passionate when talking about them. I remember when people hated on you at first in Denver. Seeing this big, muscular guy. Fans complained about drafting a TE. They shut up real quick when they saw your game and realized it wasn’t hype. It was skill. You made the TE position become way more important for teams. Had they used you to your capabilities you’d have had 5000 more yards and probably 40-50 more TD’s over your career. As a KC fan, I used to hate when we’d play Denver. You guys made it look easy. Much respect Unc. I’m still and will always be a SS fan. You’re a realist and tell it like it is and don’t apologize for being yourself. God bless you sir.
