  • I recently had the pleasure of working on this beauty. This vintage 1937 Martin has been around the block, but still in great condition for being nearly 90 years old. It was in desperate need of a refret and new nut. I talk about the process as I work on this guitar. It had obviously been refretted before, as well as having had a neck reset, so much care was needed to not do any damage to the fingerboard. In the end it turned out great.

Love 'Go-Go's' roar! Nice work on the guitar too, very entertaining!

That's an absolutely MAJOR guitar. I'd love to hear it, I bet it's a cannon.

The fret ends look immaculate! Nice work.
Were you using a half-round file for fret crowning? I know some people prefer triangle files for crowning, and most use a crowning file.
