Many thanks for all the wonderful music that has enriched my life, and probably the lives of others also. "Radio me la sudas" uploaded this about two years ago [from a different recording, but the movement names are the same] and noted that it is in the key of B major. Enjoy your break! Ted Wilks
It seems that the world hasn't broken away yet from the eminent influences of Mozart and Haydn, despite that during this time, it's already the Beethoven era with CM von Weber preceding it.
It was and will always be impossible to break away so soon from truly eminent people who passed away not long ago. And in this case, Beethoven hadn't even created his most iconic works yet by 1800.
A wonderful, lively piano concerto.
Composizione gradevole e accademica. Qualche ispirazione dai grandi compositori.
Erstaunlich!!! Wunderschön
It runs in the family... Thanks for uploading this charming concerto.
My last upload! I am taking long break.
I will be back but i do not know when.
Bye!
KuhlauDilfeng4, did you came back already? I thank you for your uploads. They made us richer and happier. Obrigado!
António GS, same appreciation!

herzlichen Dank für dieses Konzert!
Ma chi lo avrebbe detto! Grazie Kuhlau !
Has fighing the copyright battles worn you out? Thanks so much for all the wonderful music!
Listened thinking it was by composer of Mdam Butterfly opera - oh it was his grandfather - lovely !
Piano Concerto in B flat major
Leider gibt es davon nur wenige Aufnahmen, warum nur.
In part because the composer was the grandfather of the more notable progeny whose music is better known.
Very Paisiello-like.
Must admit it , I never knew that Puccini had composed a piano concerto and a beautiful one at that.
What's matter, you don't believe that's my real name, "Jack Fletcher"?
@@benlindsay6012 Neither know nor care, my good man.
It's not the same Puccini (Giacomo) who composed operas, but his grandfather.

Italians are sneaky like that 🙄

Good point

I would suggest that the influence of Mozart and even Bach can be heard throughout the oeuvre of LVB, especially his earlier output.
Grandfather or great-grandfather? I'm incredulous that only two generations passed within the timespan of one century.
Grandfather! Domenico would have been 76 when Giacomo was born. My own grandfather would have been 94, that beats 76 by far.
Aha, I just saw the Domenico, but still never knew that there were two Puccinis
In fact there are 5 (!), but Giacomo is the best known.
@@benlindsay6012 Really???
