    Really cool, I've been looking for a kit to put on my 250 two stroke, I have a YZ25O and a YZ25OX. Might end up studding tires too. Not sure yet what I should do. How do you like the Kit on your 450?

      Thanks Zach, I really like the shorter Riot 120"x 2.5" paddle better on the 2023 450. It spins way easier and goes almost everywhere the ARO 129"x 3" paddle goes except in bottomless sugar snow. Also, can use a full gear higher with the short track.

    hey man question for ya i have a yeti 129 Freeride and i was looking at the timbersled used to own a 2016 Mtn horse short track. but looking at the timber sled what are you thinking of the aro 3 pro

      The Gen 2 Aro3 is working well so far this season and we have had a lot of snow. I think the 3" track is a little bit too much traction and is harder to spin on the 2022 KTM 450, using mostly 1st and 2nd gear on climbs with the ARO3. I should have put the 3" track on the 2023 450 as it has more power than the 2022. I have the 120 Riot 2.5" paddle on the 2023 450 and it works very well but lately its been too deep for the short track. The 2023 450 spins that shorter track so much easier and its very nimble. 3rd gear and even 4th on climbs is available with the 120 Riot if the snow has a base.

    Did the 23 450xc-f come with a skid plate? Was the mono spring a white one wieght range up to 175lbs? Did you have to change that out to a stiffer spring. I know your not 175lbs or less. 😉

    • @montanagearhead7796
      @montanagearhead7796  Год назад +1

      Yes the XCF did have a factory skid plate installed. I used the factory rear coil spring and added 3 rounds of preload and some stiffer clicker settings. For me it was really good but I am not hucking it off jumps.

      What oil is working out for you for the 4stroke? Synthetic oils work here?
      Thanks for your responces from earlier....👍

      @@woodworm3615 I use Amsoil or Motorex 10w-50 . I hear the oil should have JASO MA or MA 2 certs for the clutch

    Keep me posted on wether u like that belt drive im thinking of the upgrade … mines a 2020 so didnt pull the trigger on the new one because mine is still new

    • @montanagearhead7796
      @montanagearhead7796  Год назад +1

      Don't really notice any difference in the belt vs chain case except for maintenance. Belt might be a small amount easier to spin. Also, the belt drive has needed no adjusting and chain case chain does need adjusting from time to time.

      @@foxbody199350 Ya, I think the 3" paddle is just too big for these 450s. Need a 120" with a 2.75" paddle maybe? Belt was not much change from the chain.
