Hey man I just wanna say thank you I managed to get myself and my buddies back into minecraft after not playing for at least 2-3 years and we are having a better time then ever before. You’re vids have shown me all the cool new stuff they added and it’s been making it easy to stay having a great time when there’s an in depth video on which part of minecraft to tackle next!
Same, I used to mainly play back in 2014-16, took a long break mostly because I was disgruntled with the state of bedrock edition and Mojang's lackluster updates at the time, but now with the new cave generation, the rework I've truly been waiting for, coming back fresh and checking out all the new stuff is really fun. The mods that have released since are also incredible, namely immersive portals and packs like BetterMC.
You make everything about Minecraft so much easier to understand! I played back in 7th grade in 2012 and am now 22 and I watch your videos every night before bed and whenever I want to do something new in Minecraft and need some guidance. You’re the most underrated RUclipsr out there right now!
I've found myself watching your 1.18/1.19 guides more and more recently. My minecraft knowledge is pretty limited past 1.12 so your videos have been incredibly helpful. Keep up the great work!
Love the new lush caves. I start a new world for every version; when they were added I made my base in one that opened up the side of a mountain overlooking a warm sea. Best base ever lol!
Hey Eye, thanks for the awesome content. I've been going through your survival live episodes while I make my own builds, and your videos have really helped me. Keep up the great work!
I loved learning about the different cave types that are created during world generation! I find that it's super helpful to understand how the terrain and structures generate because it makes it easier to notice different areas that are worth exploring. 8:05 I think this meant to say that aquifer caves below y-level negative 55 will generate with lava. There would be waaay too much lava if it occurred below y-level 55. 😅
I swear I saw a Mojang dev video last year that referred to the tight, winding caves as the spaghetti caves and the larger, wider & longer winding caves as the noodle caves. I'll have to do some research to verify. Nice informative video nonetheless.
just hopped back on minecraft with my friend after 10 years of not playing, your videos have been a huge help and the massive confusion of new minecraft lol thank you so much!!
Very helpful videos. And, i subscribed!!! Laterally appreciating the content 8 months later. I am just now getting into Minecraft for the first time. Have been intimidated by the game and community for a while... the game seems very intimidating due to its size and scope. I just recently decided to learn about the game and really give it a try. Your content has made things VERY digestible. I can’t thank you enough for helping to make this massive game accessible for new players. I am having a blast in part because of your channel.
Here is a tip if you find a lush cave collect almost 1 stack of clay balls and put your other items in chest nearby expect shovel which you are using divide that clay balls stack in whole inventory and just break all clays its good way to collect more clay and you can trade that balls with stone mason for emeralds
We can't forget the ore seams, the copper and iron seams. Copper veins from my knowledge tend to spawn in dripstone caves, so they usually would spawn in highly inland biomes, at a shallow level, basically never going to the deepslate. Iron ore seams are in the deepslate layer at -7 and below and I believe they spawn in lush caves and surrounding areas.
I accidentally came across this channel and have been watching the videos back to back, cool voice and really organized informative videos, the ultimate guide
Dude the underground in Minecraft is too extreme now. I just went up a mountain that went all the way to clouds, just to find out the entire mountain is a hollow shell all the way down to deep slate from clouds…
Thanks man! I was wandering around to start a new direction on my survival mode to relax and I ran across a huge cave! I forgot about the update lol and I found an aquifer. And it’s pretty cool
I want to make a cave only world but that seems impossible now. I have looked at datapacks but they leave out the meadow and only remain dripstone, lush, and deep dark. Others will put trees and stuff underground which is annoying. Anyone got any solutions, mods, or datapacks to fix this?
Thanks for all your research into these topics. It's helpful to know this stuff, especially for me who has been playing Minecraft since the first release.
Ive watched quite a few channels and I appreciate the details and explanations and things being on focus. Very helpful for upping my game as I'm doing a massive type build.
The level of technicality this guy knows of wonders me. For you is just a hole in a mountain, for him it's a cave with its own name, shape etc. And that first statement is so true and most of us not even realized that as the time passed. Today you dig straight down and if you're not dead... Boom you're in another dimension without making a portal
I never played Minecraft in the past but my 5 year old wanted to play so we got it for the switch. . We want to get blaze rods to make potions so we finally got some diamonds and made a portal. But we can’t get away from our portal successfully. . The first issue is that it generated super high up so we die if we fall. I used sand to make stairs but when we get down there’s too many magma cubes. I made it past them and built a bridge to get to the next floating island. . More magma cubes. Nowhere to go so I start digging through a wall I found quartz and gold but on the other side of the wall? The other side of the floating island. My son did see a piglin for a few seconds but it’s like we have no idea which direction to go or what to do it’s all lava and floating islands. Sometimes we see a ghost sometimes he shoots fire at us. We are noobs. I made a second nether portal a good distance from the first and it took us to the same one in the nether. Also I would like to know. . Is there any benefit to fixing broken portals you find? Like maybe on the other side is a significant area in the nether? Please and thank you.
Unlike you said at 13:7, the best way to get copper is not dripstone caves. The real best way is to enable 1.21 experiments and find a Trial Chambers structure.
I have a lush cave in my snow and frozen ocean biome and I'm pretty sure there is deep dark at the bottom of it. I have gone down as far as this gigantic laval lake that goes as far as I can see.
Great video, but I kinda missed the structures. Like dungeons, mineshafts and strongholds. Yeah they are not biomes but they are still only found undergound...
Ok so. It spawns in deep dark biomes WITH A SCULK SHRIEKER ONLY Sculk shriekers usually spawn very often in ancient cities HOWEVER they can spawn regularly outside of them
I have 2 questions if anyone can help. (Beware, I'm long winded. This is a long comment.) 1) What determines whether a block is part of the deep dark or not? I ask because I've found a deep dark in my world, yet mobs DO spawn there. None have on any skulk-related blocks, so is the deep dark perk of no mobs strictly limited to skulk? If not, how is it determined which patches of deepslate/stone are "outside" the deep dark, even when they're entirely surrounded by skulk? Or is my game just glitched? It was pretty frustrating to have to manually despawn the entire area (which to be fair, I was going to light it all up anyway to harvest the skulk and mine anything else, but still). 2) Is there a secret cave type that's not listed anywhere? In the aforementioned deep dark I found, I decided I might as well go through and despawn all the adjacent tunnels until I cover all the dead ends, then go back and do the mining. But it's now turned into a never-ending cave system, and the area I'm currently trying to despawn is the most bizarre monstrosity I'm ever seen. I don't even know how to describe it. It doesn't fit the descriptions of any of the cave types and doesn't look like a combination of different caves overlapping each other (whereas several other areas of my never-ending cave system DO resemble cave combos). My best attempt at describing it is like if you take a million tiny bites out of bologna in random places to make it look like swiss cheese, but all the bites are different shapes and sizes and they all overlap yet the shredded thing is somehow still intact when you hold it up. It's like I stepped into one of those nonsensical labyrinths like the inside of the Millennium Puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh. Each "room/tunnel" here is anywhere from maybe 4-15 blocks in any direction. I'm convinced that either my game severely spazzed out when generating this monstrosity, or a million different types of caves all generated right on top of each other. It's insane.
you mean to tell me i DIDNT have to travel thousands of blocks to the nearest mangrove swamps to get tropical fish, because the nearest warm oceans are even more thousands of blocks out? i couldve just dug down by an azalea tree?? 😭😭😭
The dripstone cave looks way too big? It’s like intimidating and annoyingly big. It feels unhospitable. Lush caves look much more lively, rare and fresh.
hello! so I watched your live stream, and I realy liked it so I joined your SMP and discord server, but than.. I geuss I got kicked could you help me PLZ. I honestly dont know why. please help.

I didn't know the surface played such a big role in cave generation, that's so cool!

@@jenishmanandhar6136 Yeah I Think So
exploring caves is my absolute favourite thing to do in MC. I could spend hours on it sometimes
Who else agrees that it's amazing when lush caves spawn above ground
Hey Eye, thanks for the awesome content. I've been going through your survival live episodes while I make my own builds, and your videos have really helped me. Keep up the great work!
I love exploring and running into an opening to a huge cave. Keep up the good videos

how do you determine the y value. Complete noob here, never played before.

Lush cave is my favorite biome!
Wish I had seen this before I tried to make a Warden shulk farm
Dude the underground in Minecraft is too extreme now. I just went up a mountain that went all the way to clouds, just to find out the entire mountain is a hollow shell all the way down to deep slate from clouds…
Mind giving the seed and cords?
that sounds sounds beautiful!
I would also appreciate seed & coords!
I like finding caves in minecraft so this vid is helpful
Great video ! Are you able to do a video about goat horns ?
I think one of his videos has info on goat horns and how to get them. (Pretty sure)
Thanks man! I was wandering around to start a new direction on my survival mode to relax and I ran across a huge cave! I forgot about the update lol and I found an aquifer. And it’s pretty cool

These are always worth watching even as a long time player. I feel like an idiot not knowing about the trees indicating lush caves. xD
Great content as always
Thanks for helping me get dripstone I need it for infinite lava
Great video!
The reason you run out of food is not that you didn't bring enough: it's becouse you never stop jumping!
My first time visiting noodle cave was the worst feeling I've ever gotten on Minecraft
Thanks for all your research into these topics. It's helpful to know this stuff, especially for me who has been playing Minecraft since the first release.
how can ur big brain handle all this knowledge
I'm definetly gonna use this video as a guide to my new smp 😊
Nice.

The coal ore formed a 1
I know you said mobs can’t spawn in the deep dark biome but I’ve actually found a zombie spawner located in the deep dark!
Ive watched quite a few channels and I appreciate the details and explanations and things being on focus. Very helpful for upping my game as I'm doing a massive type build.
Nice 👍
Congrats on 300k subs!!

great work as always

Hey man what free cam do you use!?
Caves are hard now used to play back 1.13 and even back in 1.3 when I was a kid and mobs go crazy in caves now I died so much lol
Congrats on 300k subs
THANK YOU!
Congratulations on hitting 300k

how did you become the worlds best minecraft person! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Ur are the best guardian in minecraft bro that's why I subscribe can you give me some minecraft navigating tips pls🙏
hi, minecraft noob here. how can you walk/fly though map like at 1:24 or 2:00. thanks:)
How can you see the whole cave I can barely even see in it 😢
I have a lush cave in my snow and frozen ocean biome and I'm pretty sure there is deep dark at the bottom of it. I have gone down as far as this gigantic laval lake that goes as far as I can see.
Great video, but I kinda missed the structures. Like dungeons, mineshafts and strongholds. Yeah they are not biomes but they are still only found undergound...
is it rare if lapis generate at Y:69??
i found it when i was building my base and it under my base when i was making underground chest room
I thought the warden would only emerge in a city not just any old deep dark biome? That's how I've always understood it?
Ok so. It spawns in deep dark biomes WITH A SCULK SHRIEKER ONLY
Sculk shriekers usually spawn very often in ancient cities HOWEVER they can spawn regularly outside of them
And they will only go off if sculk sensors are nearby. It takes 3 sounds to spawn a warden
when he started talking bout cheese, spaghetti and noodle caves i thought he was playing with his audience lmao
Once I found 4 or 5 azalea trees in a desert and I found a massive lush cave
How do you find caves now! It’s so hard from 4 years ago! I can’t even find 1 entrance!
How do u get that much brightness while playing could u tell me that one.....❤❤
Man, I could never find caves that are big and open enough, neither in my area nor around it.
5:13 DIAMONDS

Why wool for deep dark biome?
5:22 diamonds🤩
You know minecraft more than the developer itself
every time i enter a new deep dark biome, mobs walk in from nearby or above caves and ruin it for me :(
8:27 why is there so many mobs its insane constantly fighting instead of mining/exploring takes the fun away
i just came back for the occasional grind and oh lord what’s going on
Mineshafts are goddamn endless bro, idk when I haven’t gotten lost
People are always talking about a new dimension when we have the caves and over world already
6:13 no, spaghetti and noodles is not the same, spaghetti are Italian and noodles Japanese
I’m baffled by the lack of fungal forests in caves.
You forget, Enderman can appear in the ancient cities..
Not sure if that's supposed to happen but one did pop-up on me in there.
Oh nah its not intentional no mobs are supposed to spawn, prolly to not trigger the sensors for the player
im now realizing that your profile looks like origin bandu
You are cool bro

are you serious?
WHAT ABOUT AMERGEST???
I keep getting zombies and even 1 enderman in my ancient city...
wait, I need to go caving for iron, and I need a shield to go caving, and a shield needs iron!
you mean to tell me i DIDNT have to travel thousands of blocks to the nearest mangrove swamps to get tropical fish, because the nearest warm oceans are even more thousands of blocks out? i couldve just dug down by an azalea tree?? 😭😭😭
