Well am 24 and I know that even though we are young, we aren't as gullible as 15-16 year olds. So her grooming wont work on people our age range esp considering how Sakura has been through so much in her career that she can call bs of mhj.
I was groomed when I was a teenager but didn't piece together that that was what had happened until more than a decade later. It's impossible to have any perspective on those dynamics until you're removed from them. It has been breaking my heart to watch this happen in real time to a group I like so much.
Them saying 'she didn't put us up to say this' screams grooming. I wouldn't be surprised if she was in the room with them while they filmed that statement.
You guys are full of BS . You accusing people with no evidence, they said the new ceo and staff don't respect them. It's not the same without their leader mhj . End of story .
This case needs to go down as a great example why minors should NOT be involved in this complicated and cruel industry. These girls were clearly doing what they thought was better for their careers, driven by; 1. Their naivety and 2. Their emotional relationship/bond with their manipulative former ceo. I do not believe they should be blamed, they are in a really tough situation, their careers are on the line. Such a situation can bring the worst out of a person. I feel really sad for the whole situation, even though i have never been their fan
I blame them for their behavior. If their career was important to them they would have stayed clear out of the mess that MHJ started. I do agree that their parents failed them miserably in protecting them and as far as MHJ, let’s not be naive ourselves she only cares about how she will come out in the end.
Have never been a new jeans fan but its scary to think of how isolated these girls seem. Theyre literal babies considering their oldest is twenty. Their parents seemingly dont seem to be offering guidance and considering how successful newjeans has been in the past two years, id imagine newjeans are in legal trouble that there parents cant help with.
if you're young and still in school or college, the most efficient sign that your job will be challenging is when your supervisor says "we are a family" and tries to build a relationship with you be aware it's a manipulative move to gain the "teacher's pet" and the hyper agreeable worker who's less likely to rebel and cause issues because you're "family "
@@djojo6857 Wait..so...there is no chance she wants a healthy environment by saying that? I have worked in places where they told me that's and we'll, they treated me awesome..and in other cases they didn't. Saying that isn't proof that there is manipulation going on. Was the group not working or were the girls being mistreated by MHJ (proof, not assumptions)???? Just asking!
6:01 this is exactly it. She groomed them into the perfect little ego-feeding cash cows she wanted them to be and made them so dependent on her that they now feel success and happiness without her is impossible. Because that’s how she felt, she doesn’t care about them, not really. She may have even convinced herself that she does, but only as extensions of herself. It’s very sad and I refuse to look down upon, ridicule, or condemn them for their decisions or outlook on their situation. It’s the reality that was made for them, by design, by a walking red flag that entered their lives while they were naive and colorblind. The discourse surrounding this and the way people have become so detached from their empathy for the sake of “owning” someone online is making me feel like I need a break from kpop tbh.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Some channels are being absolutely unhinged and wishing the worst on the girl's it angers me to no end. I just hope they are able to live happily someday
Koreans understand the background and how K-pop works better than anyone else. A number of lawyers said NewJeans' live broadcasts were the best they could do, and that it would work in their favor in court disputes. NewJeans and their parents agreed with Min Hee-jin from the beginning. NewJeans' live broadcast position was to emphasize once again that NewJeans is with Min. Parents and Min representative have long protested against HYBE's unfair treatment. They also protested that Hanni was ignored. However, HYBE ignored their protest. If anyone thinks NewJeans and their parents, their fans, lawyers, Koreans are being gaslighted by Min Hee-jin, that's a real fool. Min Heejin didn't attack other artists. She complained to HYBE that HYBE was producing other artists the wrong way. She has worked with many K-pop artists. Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, f(x) and V of BTS. Many artists respect her. SM Chairman Lee Soo-man has worked with her for 16 years and even offered her a CEO. Without trust, such an offer is impossible. Producer Bang respected her, too. He suggested CBO, saying, "I'm a successful fan." It was a good start, but she didn't follow his orders, which caused problems. There was no reason to obey his orders because she moved to the CEO of ADOR. He must have felt angry and inferior for not following his orders. Min Hee-jin said that my goal is for NewJeans to live happily. To do that, she said that her job is to teach them well for seven years and help them grow into great artists without me. Producer Bang's anger ruined their plans. Koreans hope that the visions of NewJeans and Min Hee-jin will come true.
@@TYC365 yes Bang PD obviously trusted MHJ in the beginning.....until he realized that she was planning to try and destroy BTS and use the NJ girls to try and make her own company, to overtake Hybe. How could Bang PD trust her after that? You said Bang PD's anger ruined their plans....in my view, it is MHJ who ruined their plans. The girls were doing well and I fail to see how they were truly mistreated. MHJ is the one who was plotting against other artists in the company. How do you find that to be acceptable?

Yes! the way the new jeans were talking in the live, you could tell they never had a real job before and it bothers me how dependent they are with MHJ.. i hope they realize that they could be just as successful without her 😢
Yup..taking advantage of the naivety of the youth should honestly be a criminal act. I’ve been saying that Kpop companies are “grooming” every single idol that have.
Companies are money driven only. Talk to the parents because children can not go there without the parents' permission. It is their job to protect their children from these companies, but they hand their own children over to the companies. It's like throwing meat into a lion's den. It's the parents' fault and their fault alone.
Regardless of how this ends for them professionally, I really hope they heal from this trauma in their futures. It's been heartbreaking to watch this happen in real time.
I think now is a good time for all of us to remember that grooming isn’t always sexual, it’s about holding power over someone. That can include things like finances, emotions, or job security.
Yea!! Because in this case like OP or someone in the comments said, she’s practically emotionally manipulated them so much, all to make them her ego-feeding cash cows…I really don’t get manipulators’ intentions. She couldn’t just treat them normally? Why go out of her way to manipulate them so much, and make them dependent on her, when she would literally just drop them the moment, they’ve grown up?? what the hell she really is greedy, tryna get all the money that she can get out, even if that involves grooming young girls so badly, they’re practically RUINING their own future careers for her?? what the fuck…what the actual fuck
It is predatory. She wanted them young so she could brain wash them. Anyone in their twenties would sniff her out immediately this get rid of the older trainee. MHJ should never be allowed to work with young people again. The parents saw dollar signs and lived through them.

Honestly the situation of the Newjeans members, especially the grooming done by Min Heejin, makes me feel absolutely sick to my stomach. I can barely stand watching them or their Mvs anymore. Whenever I do, I just think of all the adults who are taking advantage of them or ignoring their needs, while Nj don't even seem to realize half the problem. And I feel like every day their situation is getting worse. And then on one side, we have people using the situation and the words of the members to bash them and on the other we have fans blindly supporting Min Heejin and her manipalutive tactics. It makes me feel literally physically sick. Sadly I don't really see any positive outcome in this situation. If Hybe tried to find a compromise with Mhj (which would literally never happen), then that would give Mhj so much power over them and their careers again and she would have the opportunity to damage their careers again in the future (if they were able to save their image now). If Hybe aren't willing to compromise (because putting mhj back into place would be stupid as hell from their side) and they would punish the members, that would prove Mhj's point and only drive them closer to her. It doesn’t seem like they'll ever snap out of the manipulation.
@@halfbloodprincess989 Of course they would never do that, she has been sued by the parent label and multiple groups under Hybe, that would be dumb as hell
I agree with you. I love NewJeans and have so much of their merch, but the way they act like 'saving' Min Hee Jin is the answer to all their problems is crazy. Don't get me started with Dani because she's starting to annoy me with all her messages meatriding MHJ every other day. Like girl shut up you look so dumb rn 😭
10:14 THANK YOU. Holy hell, it's so good to finally see some common sense in all this madness. MHJ, Hybe, and their parents have all failed these girls so badly, and it's just heartbreaking to be honest. And don't get me started on the fact that *some* stans use this situation as a pretext for petty fanwars. It's just disgusting.
HYBE may have failed them, but now they are the only ones who are trying to do the right thing and protect the girls by wanting them to be kept out of it, and are trying to get them away from their groomer. People can hate HYBE all they want, but right now, they are the only ones trying to do the right thing. I'll at least give them points for that.
HYBE Tried multiple times to keep them out of this drama, they even said so directly to MHJ and the press. MHJ kept dragging them back in and then the girls did this live themselves. At thsiu point, they don't want to be saved.
@lilacpanther @GrumpyKay I totally understand that, and I'm not a HYBE hater (quite the opposite). But I just find disheartening that people just blame NewJeans without taking into account the fact that MHJ is quite literally grooming them, and in broad daylight. That's what I meant by my comment, more or less: at the end of the day, NJ aren't to blame. They're really young, and they're *victims*. MHJ ruined these girls, and the only thing I can hold against HYBE is failing them; by not reacting sooner *against* MHJ.
@@lilacpanther It's not about wanting or not, as parents it's their responsability to protect them wether they like it or not. Half of them are not in the age to take such decisions, they should be in school or having fun with their friends like the teens they are not worrying about defending their groomer in court. Just letting them choose to go through all of this shit while knowing they're oblivion and manipulated just looks like a complete lack of parental authority to me.

I do sympathise with New Jeans in this situation given the fact that they're having a hard time due to the adults in their life not protecting them or taking advantage of them. However, I wonder what makes them think that Hybe, one of the biggest kpop companies, will follow through with their demand for Min Heejin to return as CEO. In Hybe's eyes, even though new jeans is a very popular group from their company, Hybe also has many other popular groups (including BTS who is likely their biggest money maker). Therefore to Hybe, New Jeans is probably easily replacable if they decide to terminate their contracts if they don't follow through with their request.
i don’t think they believe they will, but as a last ditch effort and warning before they go to what’s practically the only option left. probably a lawsuit to terminate their contracts or something. they got out the most important information which was the silencing, work place bullying and delaying of them and their careers. they’ve seen what happened to fromis when they complained about hybe publicly and probably used it as a cushion to get things to stay going rather than hybe doing the same thing of filing a lawsuit, losing and wasting time. best case scenario left is that they terminate and can get their group name to wherever it is they go. they have the entertainment and gp backing right now. hybe did make it obvious they’re replacing them w illit now, with how their shifting ador employees to belift and making belifts old vice and hr managers the vice and new ceo of ador. hope those girls leave such a hostile work environment imagine what they do to the artists who don’t have the strength to speak up.
@@ahnhyungseobhaveyoulearnth8286 *sigh* there is no proof that the girls are being bullied. That's all hearsay from a single source who atm isn't a credible one. Why are people still stuck on narratives that have been proven false for months now? MHJ LIED about groups trying to copy her and replace New Jeans. It's all been a massive distraction so people stop looking at the actual issue. That HYBE caught her trying to steal ADOR and do insider trading. Serious things that could land her in jail. None of the claims made by MHJ are honest claims. And that's including the Illit one you judt reapeated. She is just trying to throw anything at the wall that looks like mistreatment, and see what sticks, so she can get out of HYBEs contract. It's pretty clear she is copying what 50/50 did at this point. It is not unusual for people within smaller companies or departments to switch up workers. And now that ADOR needs to be cleaned out of MHJ loyalists, HYBE has to pull some people around to make sure jobs are getting filled. They are in fix it mode to clean up the mess ADOR is in cause of MHJ. It doesn't mean they are trying to copy New Jeans.
You can't help people that don't want to be helped. I honestly felt like they couldve salvaged their careers right up until the livestream. The second that went live, they were done.
That‘s a pretty weird way to look at victims of emotional abuse and manipulation. Yes, it’s difficult to help people that have been convinced that the person hurting them, controlling them is their savior, lover, friend whatever, but it‘s still necessary. They need support and other perspectives otherwise they will never gain the power to break out from the vicious cycle of abuse. If they are all alone that gives even more power to the abuser/groomer.
This genuinely pisses me tf off. This entire situation. From the start till now. These wonderful five girls have been pawns in MHJ’s game of chess for far too long. The fact that they have most likely been groomed since they were literal children frustrates my entire being and now they are throwing their entire career away for a woman who could kick them to the side like trash at any moment. I wouldn’t even be surprised that if or when they get kicked out of Hybe, their first instinct is to go to MHJ, only to be given a sad dismissal and left in the dust. Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein are not fucking toys. They are not cash cows. They are human beings with feelings and dreams. I do think that this move was completely dumb on their part, but it’s a sad result of being closely connected to that monster. They shouldn’t have done this. They shouldn’t have been put in this situation. At all.
I'm not sure if it's just PR, but it seems some Koreans are siding with MHJ. They view the fight against HYBE as a stand against capitalism and social status. For them, it's "brave" for MHJ, as a woman from a certain social class, to challenge a patriarchal corporation. However, those supporting MHJ might lack common sense and seem to be primarily young people who haven't yet entered the workforce and understood the basics of a working contract. The court even admit that MHJ conspire to steal Ador from HYBE. WTF are these koreans thinking ?
MHJ needs that CEO stock option. There are millions of dollars at stake there. She also has a “if I can’t have them no one can” attitude about the girls. That’s not love. Their parents? They won’t let their kids do this if they don’t think they could do better than Ador / HYBE. Guess what? Danielle’s sister just signed as the first artist for Warner Music Korea. Warner, HYBE, Universal, and Sony and the BIG 4 biggest music company in the world. Maybe, their parents think there is a bigger fish to fry. To leave HYBE without paying the $300-400 million penalty they need a strategy. The girls aren’t the only ones groomed. MHJ has managed to sealed the fate of the girls by convincing them they can never make it in the world without her. And now this has become a reality. Either way it is all about money.
Warner Korea had and have artists under their label, she is not the first one to sign with them. maybe you meant their new sublabel Mplify, then yes, she is their first artist
Oooh I hope that Hybe drag out the time for that meeting she wants to have, that Hybe gives back like she have behaved to them to not have time to meet when a meeting is planed 😅 just so the time goes by and oops it's November.....by by MHJ
Ugh. Isnt it always abt money at the end. I mean, the girls earnestly believe in themselves and speakly honestly but the older u get, yeah i think its just abt money. Especially for mhj
💯💯I agree with you, she is a businessman, she wants to become like BSH, or even become higher than him, more influential, this was clear from her messages in Kakaotalk, and here we are not talking about love for girls NJ, NJ is a bargaining chip. MHJ said that she is a creative person, and she doesn’t care about money, but I don’t believe it, money and power are why wars happen.
every single time I come across anything to do with this stuff I instantly start tearing up, it just hurts so bad to see them be used and go through such horrible things as teenagers and young adults. The fact that no adults in this situation have benefitted the members at all when all I can think about is how crucial it is to have adults you can trust in life, especially as a young adult with your first job, or first experiences if the 'real world', they were failed and it breaks my heart
That's why kpop companies shouldn't be debuting young children as they're still impressionable and naive, making them quite easy to be exploited by those greedy scumbags. And their parents should protect them from those shady people, like do something when your child is in literal danger
I really am worried for the girls and hope they're gonna pull through and make it out on the other side safe. It absolutely breaks my heart to see so many people having literally zero empathy for them.
exactly, like why cant people realize how badly the girls are being groomed by mhj, she is literally sacrificing the girls future for what? less than a sliver of sympathy? like mhj is such a horrible person.
You're absolutely right in saying that the relationship between NWJNS and MHJ is manipulative, but I don't think we can really defend them by calling them naive anymore. It doesn't take a genius (or a fully grown adult for that matter) to see that what they're doing is reckless and frankly stupid. They were thrust into fame and it has made them believe they have more leverage than they really do. I love newjeans, but even if they're big now, the kpop industry is not forgiving. Give it a year and a new shiny group will be there to take their place.
New Jeans had a lot of sucess very early and the (yup, mostly adult by now) members are probably feeling mistreated by their company in light of this scandal. MHJs attacks on LE SSERAFIM and others speaks of a kind of entitlement that could easily rub off. Very likely they'll get a reality check now, when HYBE starts to mistreat them for real.
See the thing about comments like this is they don't take into account what deep manipulation, gaslighting, and grooming doe to someone's psyche. They're maybe not naive, but they have been manipulated to a horrendous degree. Either way: they don't know what they're doing.
Ehh grooming can make one naive. Esp given many of them started training by around age 13 it can halt important mental developments. But you’re right on new groups. Probably Babymonster or meovv would easily take their spot
@@cookiejar.mp3yes, exactly. their comment really rubbed me the wrong way. shit, because clearly they don’t get how the fuck emotional manipulation really and actually works?? it practically sounds like they’re fucking victim-blaming the members too! like i’m sixteen, but shit i didn’t realize it was stupid and reckless either and thought, “oh they’re bravely speaking out even at the cost of their career and against HYBE’s mistreatment”, and so had probably THOUSANDS of fans, even the OP says it herself, it seems like the commenter really has missed the point of what OP’s said and been explaining throughout the ENTIRE video. Their comment really pisses me off what the hell?? Complete lack of empathy, and emotional intelligence. It’s not to mention the fact that they’ve been groomed since before debut, as they were still kids, and some people don’t even realize, or break out of brainwashing, even once turned into an adult, because that’s how hard it is. To just have this strong belief for SO long, just for it to turn out, oh, wait, no! you were manipulated to believe so this whole time!? the commenter is messed up for saying this shit
Almost all of the members are adults now, so MHJ will loose interest in this group very soon. Speaking out like that was the worst thing they could have done. Maybe they can pull a 'we didn't know what she has done' later, but this'll damage their career.
Not at this point. Maybe if they did this when the whole mess started, but not now. This case has been going on for a while, they really have nothing to support "we didn't know". I wish them wellz but I really don't know what they were thinking with this.
Some fans needs to watch this, especially the kids who's defending MHJ I've seen em saying "She's done nothing wrong, HYBE is wrong" I get it HYBE does things differently, but at least they're not exploiting the members, making them dependant on her and making them believe that their music career would be done without her is cruel. The parents doesn't do better either, focusing on their career than their kids mental health and future. Please somebody save them.
are you slow, hybe has exploited them. I need you to think before typing because i can drop many links rn on what hybe has done rather than mhj, you better research better.
id just like to add, mhj was aware of this before it happened, and she didn't stop them from doing it. she let this happen even tho she must've known it wouldn't go well, throwing the members under the bus if it meant mhj might get some sympathy back again. im just saying this because i dont even think you can call this "them speaking out", they were just repeating mhj's talking points from their pov. this would also mean that mhj allowed ador to get this bad rep, aka get damaged, which means there's finally proof that she tried to harm the company, and can therefore be let go, once and for all. until they get actual help, i dont see them saving themselves from all this. the manipulation sits deep, and they wont get that wake-up-call by themselves. its useless to be "vocal about what's bothering you", if all of those thoughts and feelings were molded by the manipulator.
this is the first video on the subject that actually seems grounded in reality. unfortunately, newjeans sealed their faith with that live. i was already convinced they were the victims before that, but after this, my concern for them grew even bigger. mhj's control over these girls goes far beyond what we imagined. if mhj actually cared for these girls, she'd make sure to keep them out of the mess to save them, but instead she chooses to take them down with her. this is not to say hybe is an innocent participant, but realistically, they just hold too much power to go against them. kpop fans seem to think there's some magic switch the second you turn eighteen and that you magically become an adult then, that's not how it works. these are still kids, legal or not, they are young girls who are being taken advantage of by everyone around them
also crazy how people are acting as if no big idol has ever been blacklisted before. jessica from snsd hello? newjeans are in an even more vulnerable position as they are not even close to being senior idols. mhj knows this, she doesnt care
Exactly. Especially about the age part they are all still super young. Hyein is 16 and a first year in high school. Haerin is 18 and a senior in high school. Dani would have just graduated like 7 months ago. And Hanni and Minji turned adults in 2023 which was not long ago and also were still minors in Korea at their debut and have been under mhj since years prior.
Apparently MHJ said in an interview that she knew about the Live and advised them not to do it. But since she is still considered an employee of Ador, this was considered a breach of contract since she didn't inform management of it. So MHJ has been busy taking articles and news of it offline in case her words implicate her. Search up Hybe Boy for more information.
mhj manipulated these girls SO HARD its crazy. mhj literally called them brainless teens, made disgusting comments about them and newjeans went live to get mhj back cuz shes the reason they are “protected”
Min Heejin has outright admitted that she will not encourage NewJeans to renew their contracts. They'll have "spent too long" with her and "need to branch out." Interpret that how you will, but I don't think she had NJ's best interests at heart when she said that.
@@SweetforS idk just what I remembered but if she didn’t then they certainly seem like it to her from her messages of ranting and complaining about them how she’d want to kill them or something
Why am i only seeing this video now. Your video is exactly what i thought of this relationship. I’m so tired of coming across so many people telling how brave njs are for raising their voice, how mhj is a victim, how hybe is going to destroy their career. Njs already destroy their career by opened that livestream. They are still very naive, the best choice for them is to play safe and remain silent for the adults to fight themselves. Not involve them into this gigantic mess
Amazing video. As a NewJeans fan, its so frustrating watching the girls and other tokkis fall for that womans obvious scheme. Those texts speak for themselves, she thinks the girls and all their fans are dumb
@protolic7035 I 100% guarantee I'm more of a Tokki than you. People in the community know me and I've been a supporter for almost two years. You're not a good person for seeing children get victimized and used and pretending it's all fine and dandy
i believe mhj is the reason why new jeans felt shunned by other hybe groups, the way she is, the groups's staff members probably advice them to not interact with new jeans because if the girls told mhj about an interaction, the managers or idols fear mhj would go out of their way again to ruin other groups's reputations.
like you I never could have imagined THIS is where that situation would end up. "Groomed, bloomed and doomed" is a term from a pretty famous movie about an adult that "molded" a child star...only to end up taking advantage of that child by "falling in love with them" 🤢it's a term that NEVER should come to mind, but it's EXACTLY what came when I watched their vid. These poor girls never had guardians that were coming to there rescue. Mhj did EXACTLY what she had planned to, EXACTLY what a Predatory dictator does best: worm there way into the lives of their prey to where when she goes down ALL AROUND HER DO. It's why she's facing multiple lawsuits currently, she was the villain NOBODY anticipated. Bunnies calling for action, revealing just how majority of them are young as well and have been manipulated to the point where there ready to "fight" for the girls, gunghoe running in the opposite direction of the enemy that's literally facing federal AND history making charges against her as a woman in korea RIGHT NOW. Atp I pray the girls just start getting distance from LITERALLY everyone giving advice, parents INCLUDED because ANYONE WOULD HAVE ADVISED THE GIRLS TO REMAIN AT A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL WITH THAT WOMAN. But of course that would mean her isolation DIDN'T work and NJs wouldn't even BE in this mess.
Eqverybody is replaceable. If they don’t mend soon they are gonna be forgotten. I already for got them already. Not because of feud. Because they don’t have exposure any more.
Right or wrong this not the way you communicate to your management if you want to still work with them. Make a public statement dan gave an ultimatum too. This is not proper and not any good result will come from this. For NJ sadly this is just like take suicide for their career as no company want to have an “employee” that have communication style like them. And the way they present them self, style like MHJ…long hair with cap, gloomy, no make up, psikology in order to look like victim to the public…this is MHJ plan, she is still very much involve with them. Wierd and scary somehow. What next ?😮
Don't forget that the person they are still defending and want back is the one who dressed Taemin (if that can be called being dressed) in very revealing clothes when he was A MINOR and continued to do so and gave them weird concepts, I really want to defend NJ, but they should have the mentality to recognize the horrible things MHJ has done and represnt.
I'm so glad there are still channels reporting in a reflected manner with a sense of responsibility and empathy... Thank you so much, it is really refreshing in a scene where almost every other video turns out to be clickbait
They're all so young and talented and sweet. I know it's unlikely, but i'm really hoping they're able to come back from this and continue their career. I hope NewJeans is able to see what's happening and open their eyes to MHJ's grooming. The HYBE NEEDS to TALK to them and explain WHY MHJ can't come back/ why following her is a bad idea. Instead of just blindly letting them di their own grave, they should actually communicate with them PRIVATELY. The fact they let NEWJEANS PUBLICLY confront them means they probably would've given up on NEWJEANS in a year or so. They had NO problem letting these young victims become a center for hate and abuse. HYBE is LETTING them do this. If HYBE ACTUALLY cared about them, they wouldn't of let them go public with this. They were planning on dropping them no matter what. They have other groups, they don't need NEWJEANS anymore. It's so horrible how HYBE just stood there and let NEWJEANS destroy themselves. Out of all the big companies, HYBE is probably the absolute worse.
this whole situation just honestly makes me sad for these girls. sure, they're not little kids anymore, but having spent years being groomed by MHJ since they started training and working for her it's clear that she has a very strong grip on them despite their now adult ages. this just shows one of the many reasons why minors shouldn't be allowed to get into this awful industry at such young ages when they're so much easier to manipulate - it's already hard to get out of a situation like this because of the power dynamic of MHJ being their boss, but them being kids when it started just made it even worse. it's also disheartening to see that they dont seem to have any support system or adults they can trust since like you said in the video their parents aren't protecting their children like they should... i just feel bad for them, that all of this grooming and mistreatment lead them to make such a reckless decision, whether it was theirs (which i doubt) or MHJ using them, that just ruined their careers, maybe not forever but for a very long time for sure. I just hope they can detach themselves from that woman and at least get some kind of psychological help
You are celebrating so early, even tho there is still no final result. This video isn't defending hybe at all, if that's what you brain dead fans talking about.
I would like to politely make a correction: You said "former creative director of ADOR and NewJeans" but that's not the case. She is a former CEO, but still remains in her executive creative position. This is stated by ADOR themselves. Anyways, I'll watch the video further now
ya know i love these girls and ik they are suffering , i have seen so many opinions about this on tt , and i keep telling people that maybe people would love what nwjns is doing if they didnt mention that witch , sometimes we need to hold people accountable for their actions without hating them , at first i was quite reluctant of them bc they keep showing love for a pedo and im 16 too so i kept thinking no matter what i wouldnt support a pedo but now that i think about it maybe they have been manipulated.i hope they realize that they should stand up for themselves only and not that witch
Thank you for this clear explanation of the New Jeans situation. Frankly, it would be okay for just the new jeans girls to feel like family to each other, because they are all in the same boat. I hope that these talented young ladies get an opportunity to talk and get guidance from someone they already respect, someone that explains all that has and is happening. I do wish them the best, and I hope they can overcome this ugly situation.
u r probably the only person who supports the girls without supporting mhj and critisizing them without calling them brats and ungreatful. its seriously so hard to tell if you are doing right or wrong when you are constantly told how you should be feeling about certain situation by an adult who knows "better". they were wronged by the adults in their lives. their parents included. and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. i feel so bad for the girls, and i seriously wonder what will happen next.
I'm torn between finding their bond with Min Heejin suspicious and what positive impact this situation might have on how K-pop artists are treated. MHJ transferred them from the inappropriate treatment they received from SouMu as trainees, gave the girls a spacious home, let them work closely with notable choreographers, directors, and producers, and most of all, allowed them autonomy. Though I do admit their relationship with her is concerning, I also hope this entire situation sheds light on the status quo regarding the treatment of K-pop trainees and idols and how much better their lives can be if the upper management CARED.
while i understand you are speaking from a place of true concern and care for idols, i think phrasing this statement referencing MHJ and NewJeans may be misinterpreted and could be used as fuel for MHJ supporters (aka… newjeans fanbase). plus, bringing up points about how she has provided them spacious homes and has allowed them to work at their own pace sounds like more excuses for MHJ to continuously manipulate and exploit these girls. i don’t believe you to have bad intentions, but i think this statement is much more harmful than you perhaps realize.
I've hear ppl say NewJeans did that livestream on purpose to try to get HYBE to terminate their contracts instead of NewJeans having to pay the fine to do it themselves. I don't know how true that is but first of all there's no way HYBE would go that route bc it's easier for them to just give NewJeans the basement treatment and secondly, NewJeans would be all alone if they left HYBE bc MHJ would still be working there and it's hard to believe that any company would wanna adopt NewJeans who have acted kinda like a whistle-blower would. Both parties: MHJ and HYBE have gone about this the wrong way. HYBE should've handled the matter privately but they made the announcement public for buzz and attention. HYBE should've also tried to reason with the girls and show them the reality of things. I know it's hard for someone to realise they've been groomed, brainwashed and manipulated since a very young age, but you can't just give up on these 5 girls who only wanted to chase their dreams! HYBE would've benefited in continuing NewJeans but after that livestream... the future sadly doesn't look bright for the girls
Hybe isn't allowed to handle the firing of a sub-label's CEO privately. Since they're a publicly traded company, any major movement or changes have to be disclosed publicly for their shareholders. That included the announcement that ADOR was being audited due to some information and a pre-cursor review showed that MHJ was attempting to take control over ADOR from Hybe.
Instead new jeans girls should have not gotten involved in matters of business. As hyein mention in their live to stay in their lane. They should have stayed in their lane sing and perform as artist and not get involved in matters of companies. They went far to write letter for her and their parents are also to be blamed as they also got involved in the matter. And mhj is to be blamed totally as she was the one and first who went public and accusing companies and grp of things for her greed to own ador. Also hybe has to publish everything as it's listed and by law they are suppose to announce it and audit it. This would have come in their annual report as well. And nj girls are too hopeless at this point. They decline any kind of support from others or hybe. They are too involved with mhj that they think they are ntg without her. Its been not even a month and they are saying they not okay with new team when they have not worked with them properly. Change is something constant. Them wanting to be always comfortable is a unnecessary and bratty demand.
It is impossible to help those who refuse help. "Between you and another person always exactly ten steps. If you passed your five and no one met you - turn around and leave.". From the very beginning, HYBE warned MHJ not to mention the artists, and most likely they warned NJ, but from the very beginning of the conflict, NJ demonstrated their attitude towards HYBE, constantly mentioned MHJ in all speeches, they hung stickers on elevators, and so on, who cares behind this, he knows what I mean. MHJ has been planning all this since 2021, it was in reports, so the girls have already chosen a side a long time ago.Even if the girls were not aware of all this, they were already under the influence of MHJ, and no one listened to HYBE
True Hybe would never terminate the contract ,do y'all have any idea how much was invested in ador and MHJ? They'd rather milk them more to get back that investment in the form of profits.
Honestly it's sad what's happening. They kinda sealed their future in a naive attempt to do what they thought was right. While I can't blame them, I think their actions will have consequences. I totally see hybe hiatus them indefinitely as a "punishment" and yes, all adults failed them. Although most of them already got 18, you don't suddenly have a change of mind overnight, they probably have MHJ indoctrination since their trainee years.
thank you so much for this video, everything you said is really agreed with. i feel so, so bad for the girls it’s very clear from all of this that they have been manipulated beyond what anyone could’ve thought. yes they are mostly adults but the way they speak is very immature and i really don’t want to say arrogant but it’s just? it really wasn’t a good choice to speak out like this and i can only hope they don’t end up disbanding though im not sure what the future holds
Came back here after the hybe issue and while reading the comments i just realize how they hate ador and newjeans not knowing really what happened the office makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂
It's what loyalty gets you in this business. When you are loyal to someone instead of just thinking about yourselves in this industry it never ends well. It was mhj's concepts and management that made them the success they are. There is nothing wrong with sticking up for her or wanting her direction to continue.
Kpop fans care way too much about New Jeans. It's not like the members are going to die, maybe their group but there's nothing guaranteed, besides there are many other groups making awesome music that speaks to our hearts.
@@Mauu7n7 Yeah, you are right, but there's nothing we can do. They involved themselves in office politics, and those girls have as much voting power as we do, which is none at all. It might be better for us to cling on to other newbies with potential. Personally I don't trust New Jeans anymore, are they being manipulated? Did they come up with all this alone? Who really knows, it's frustrating and not about kpop.
LMFAO meanwhile them getting new brand deal with calvin klein and the front page artists of billboard magazine they more successful than all of ur fav artists
Obviously MHJ is the main villain here, but the way that Hybe has completely failed protect these girls both before all this from MHJ herself (clearly from the sexual harassment scandal we can see that Hybe didn't care about what MHJ got up to as long as it didn't effect their bottomline) and after this all came out. Why hasn't anyone in the company reached out to the girls and offered them a lifeline before they felt the need to do this. When staff at the company are mistreating them and the leadership at the company ignores it, it pushes those girls to believe MHJ's lies, that she is the only one they can rely on and trust. It's heartbreaking to see them failed by all the adults in their lives.
People - even within one's own family - often don't seem to care... until something happens. I hope it's not the case here, but that's just me speaking from personal experiences.
I think that many people forget that this is first and foremost a job, they signed contracts, it means they were happy with everything, they agreed (the parents seem to have signed, but the NJ was undoubtedly familiarized with it), they are employees, management cannot walk around all the time and ask are you okay? do they communicate with you? It also depends on the employee himself (NJ), how they establish contact with colleagues, with HYBE artists. In all this time, I have not seen NJ mention other HYBE artists or express even the smallest amount of gratitude to their colleagues, as, for example, TXT, Enhypen, le Sseraphim and others do. Communication is a two-way process. The organization has created the conditions, you either work or you don’t work? This is the real working world, which is not painted with rosy colors (even though they are young, they were paid a salary, which means they worked like many of us).The parents didn’t complain until a certain point, which means everything was fine, the parents took advantage of the MHJ, she talked about it in her messages, planned to connect them, and perhaps gave them excessive attention. But Director Hybe cannot do that - this is a business relationship. Sorry, I wrote a lot
As a lawyer myself, my firm would be jumping at the chance to take the issue of HYBE illegally disseminating NJ's medical records to court if it had been within EU jurisdiction because our data protection laws are HEFTY. (trainee vids leak are a diff story as likely are company IP - if it can be proven that the leaking of these vids led to harm - then you'll have a case - personal injury including mental health for example might bring a case forward) This isn't a fifty-fifty case as others have mentioned either. Legally speaking, NJ's members are not involved as direct parties. Fifty-fifty's members instigated their consequent court case themselves, meanwhile with NJ's, it's entirely corporate. This live can only really be argued to have devalued HYBE's brand value, which I imagine is incorporated into their contract. 'as much as possible' will most likely have been the wording, so it's easy for the girls to argue that they felt compelled to voice their concerns in relation to their records being leaked (I would not mention workplace bullying such as Hanni's corridor experiences, as this is more of a HR issue). LAW ASIDE: The fact of the matter is, all adults have failed these girls. I use the term girls, because K-pop idols taken in as trainees at a young age remain that age perpetually for some time due to missing out on key developmental milestones whilst they work 14hr days surrounded by strange adults - even moreso here. I cannot blame these girls for the sentiment behind their (not very savvy) actions. They see their careers slipping away, and wonder what have they done wrong? And the answer here is nothing. Not even the live was wrong - it was a product of their circumstances. They've been aware of their imminent shelving since April when the drama first began, and thought they'd at least do something about it - and although the substantive content of the live and their demands aren't realistic or appropriate, the meaning behind it is well-mannered. They want their lives back again - it's naive, but it's incredibly human. I disagree with you, and say they ARE brave. They are brave for simply existing. Knowing every night, when they wake up a new piece of confidential information might drop, a concert is cancelled, an album demo indefinitely delayed, schedules abandoned, their friends and staff have 180'ed on them. I wonder, just what on earth is this doing to their mental health? Isolated. Not knowing who to trust, so you turn to the only industry mother-figure you know, and produce essentially an SOS call. I full well imagine they knew this would have consequences, even if they aren't fully aware of their naivety, and I applaud them for making an evermore pertinent demonstration that kpop idols are human. They are frustrated. Scared. Anxious. Angry. Whether brave or not, they are at least trying to be, and I applaud them for that & everyone else should too.
I agree 100%. If HYBE truly was such a good "company" why would they have anything against the members and retaliate because they spoke up?? We can already see that HYBE failed them given that they felt the need to go live and try to do something. A lot of things they must have seen not going anywhere for them to be so daring as to involve themselves, especially when the whole industry must be aware of what happened with Fifty Fifty. In the end this kind of videos is kind of just reinforcing that victims of abuse should just stay silent when they're being abuse to avoid getting hate instead of telling people outside the situation on focusing their hatred towards the abuser...
To be fair tho your firm along with any firm would have to prove its hybe… Yes people assume it’s hybe who done this but they aren’t the only ones who have access to idols medical records and I could argue it’s min heejin who did it since literally one of the claims hybe said against her in the original court case is that was gonna allegedly leak kpop idols private information such as medical records… which so happened to happen. Hybe don’t gain anything from leaking medical records and had no reason to. However min heejin gains from making hybe look like they mistreat the girls by spreading private information
New Jean do not need to be protected if they stay true to themselves by being talented artists. Instead, they allowed themselves to be dragged into their ex CEO fight. One must ask why would HYPE mistreated their source of revenue?? Why would HYPE invest so much $ into training, nurturing, traveling, marketing etc... So ask yourself why that is! As this RUclips author said, the only person that benefit from this is MHJ and this itself further my initial thought is thay MHJ is calculative, manipulative, greedy, selfish. There is always two sides of a story!!
Thank you for your video. I believe that your analysis and explanation of the situation is painfully obvious and I don’t understand how there is no one close to New Jeans or their parents who have stepped in to help them understand their situation. Even if a person doesn’t agree with HYBE, the company is now the only way NJ can experience a reality check and perhaps save their lives, if not their careers.
I strongly believe new jeans don‘t deserve to be invovled in this messed up situation but I can‘t say I wouldn‘t understand if Hybe fired them…they are essentially forever going to be a mole in the company after this. Maybe they did not willingly do this live but they did it anyways. It shows the control certain people have over them. That‘s dangerous for the company when someone that is not part hybe and basically an enemy now, has more control over new jeans than the company itself.
Even though I don't like philosophy, I think what aristotles said about bravery applies very well to this situation. Too much bravery leads to recklessness.
this is so heartbreaking. as an asian, i understand how unhealthy we can be socially, so, sadly, MHJ's grooming isn't surprising at all. my own family is highly codependeent and enmeshed. i think the best situation would be if NJ left the entertainment industry all together, get healthy, and live peaceful lives.
Oh come on. We all know how toxic their industry is. If someone is finally speaking up, why NOT use this chance and talk about real problems? Suicide, all those sexual images and double sided content. There has to be boundaries even in this industry. Those teenagers are not okay, if they are speaking up, it mught prevent next problems within the next generations. Calling them reckless when they are the only ones who are standing up for themselves, maybe k pop industry need more of those brave youth. I mean how many of you heard of voluntary works and mentorship programs between the elder generation and younger generation? The industry have some problems. It is not a good idea to keep it racing when it is showing signs of failure.
You always, always say the right thing. Not just politically, but even considering the emotions of all thr parties involved, you are always so straight forward with the way you put your words yet never harsh unlike a lot of youtubers. You deserve a lot of views
Not saying hello is not bullying by Hybe. Also they called bang pd inhumane. On live tv. And gave Hybe an ultimatum live. Forgiving new jeans or listening to their demands would cause mutiny amongst the other labels and companies. Bang pd issue is even trusting min hee Jin enough to hire her after all the shady shit she did at SM. New jeans were given everything top notch from the beginning. The shares she has she still owes bang pd the money for. He tried to give her independence and even took new jeans from source music so she’d have them under Ador. Then min hee jin tried stealing ador and new jeans while trying to destroy Hybe and BTS who literally built Hybe. I believe do to all the recent hate train in the media she’s probably still working on taking down BTS. So min hee Jin needs to go and new jeans needs to go.
I agree with you. I would like to note that there were no specific accusations on this broadcast, other than personal ones, did not say hello or was inhumane, what exactly did he do to them? Humiliated them, insulted them, harassed them?, did not pay wages or stole their wages? There are no specific accusations, they repeat the same words as MHJ, in which there are a lot of feelings, emotions, any employee can also experience this, if management does not pay attention to him, so what? You can say that about any person. What exactly is his inhumanity? I understand this is all an attempt to influence our sense of empathy. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is the impression I get
The parents seem to be money hungry which doesn’t help either. I just returned from Seoul and was surprised to find more new jeans ads/posters than Bts. I can’t imagine having your face everywhere, designer campaigns, millions at such a young age without a support system.
Thank you so much for this video! I still don't know what to really think about that live, if it was orchestrated by MHJ or not, because I don't know if they would tell lies like that in that situation, maybe it was just the rest of the team that's loyal to MHJ without her coming out herself, but either way, they come off as entitled brats for one major side and as pitiful (because of their storys, not the grooming) to the other major side, while the truth seems to be in the middle or better neither. I'm really worried about what's going to happen in the next 2 weeks. I'm not a big fan of New Jeans but I felt so sorry for them once I saw what MHJ did to them and for me who didn't really have experience with grooming it became increasingly harder to believe them to be a totally innocent party in all this. I see it more clearly now, so again: Thank you! But either way: This was the fast train into failure. And I see no real way of coming back from that. If they really get put inside Hybes basement, then I hope that they get at least massive psychological counseling and Idk anything that get's them trustworthy adults in their life, cause as of now there aren't really any I've hea rd about!
When I heard about this, the only thing I thought about was Natalie Portman's dislike for Marvel and their firing of her makeup-artist friend. She held a personal grudge against Marvel for this and refused to come back to reprise her role. So they basically had to write her character out of the story. At that time I thought it was so immature and unprofessional of her. I looked her up on imdb and apart from her role as Jackie Kennedy, none of her other roles after 2013 were that memorable. And then she came back anyways. Probably because all other job opportunities dried up over the years due to covid and the SAG strike. So she was loyal to a friend and gained WHAT exactly from it? Now I look at this group and I feel a little saddened. They're almost like Fifty Fifty who were lied to by Ahn Sung Il and blindly believing in him. I think MHJ is doing exactly the same thing with NewJeans.
That’s because no one is on their side when mhj left that’s why they thought mhj is the onlyone who understands them. This won’t happen if they are treated good without mhj.
I understand the sentiment of this video and agree with most of the points at bay but it also sounds like you are complicit with the fact that Hybe can just send artists into the “dungeon” because it’s a norm in the industry. This is a highly unethical and borderline illegal practice for speaking up about mistreatment and humiliation as an employee. We seem to forget that the K-POP industry tend to be highly unethical by definition so I don’t at all mind these girls speaking up against the norm - it’s not as if they were coming out of this storm unscathed anyway with or without MHJ. Hybe was already complicit with other subsidiaries bullying them. But yeah towards the end, this video just sounds like you’re blaming the victim after all, which is troubling.
but hybe hadnt done that yet, its just fans assuming the worst giving mhj an advantage to try to get her position back (which wont be happening given how problematic she is )
dont butt in with top management issues. youre mere employees, youre not family. min hee jin aint your mother. you can be new jeans without her. come on. theyre reckless because theyre kids… being exposed early to show business only halted they psychosocial development. it was like allowing a newborn doe in wilderness to be preyed on by predators in this case min heejin. SK should set a law preventing those under 18 to be trainees.
These are young girls. It's obvious that Min Hee-jin put them up to this, because clearly she cannot have another press conference.. Min See-jin is desperate and has convinced the girls that they cannot have a career without her. New Jeans needs to forget about Min Hee-jin and build a new relationship with Hybe, if they want a career in Kpop.
It's basically the girls are far under manipulation that they're stuck...they can't differentiate between right or wrong ..and the fans dumb too .. the girls and fans are constantly trying to bring the villain who will cause further destruction back into the story..which is not the solution
what makes you think that they didnt know what was at stake? this is literally saying they do not know how to think, what to say, and they are just puppets of mhj, and that idea is reinforced at 3:03 that's enough for me to watch...
Let's not forget mhj calling sakura too old at 23 and didn't want her to debut at the group she was going to make like what do you call that
To her "muse taste", she is considered old. *Those* people🤢
thats gross.
Well am 24 and I know that even though we are young, we aren't as gullible as 15-16 year olds. So her grooming wont work on people our age range esp considering how Sakura has been through so much in her career that she can call bs of mhj.
Yes is too old for newjeans
And also saying minji was prettier when she joined source and that now she isnt as pretty (we all know why)
+ the reason why she was fired from Sm
I was groomed when I was a teenager but didn't piece together that that was what had happened until more than a decade later. It's impossible to have any perspective on those dynamics until you're removed from them. It has been breaking my heart to watch this happen in real time to a group I like so much.
So sorry for what happened to you😢,love your vids tho especially your ive ones.
Them saying 'she didn't put us up to say this' screams grooming. I wouldn't be surprised if she was in the room with them while they filmed that statement.
@@halfbloodprincess989 I'm pretty sure she was THE Cameraman.
I hope that you are okay ❤
This should also be an example for all the parents to not allow their kids to debut until they're mature enough.
Especially if u are new experience to music entertainment
@@gumoa2866 Glitter and gold hides all too well the turd behind it all.
if you're young and still in school or college, the most efficient sign that your job will be challenging is when your supervisor says "we are a family" and tries to build a relationship with you be aware it's a manipulative move to gain the "teacher's pet" and the hyper agreeable worker who's less likely to rebel and cause issues because you're "family "
couldn't agree more... moment you hear "we are a family" run for your dear life
I second this. Based on my experience, this is true.
It’s unprofessional behavior and all cultures need to start recognizing that this is predatory behavior and start disciplining it as such.
One of the red flags to avoid during the job interview.
He suggested CBO, saying, "I'm a successful fan."
It was a good start, but she didn't follow his orders, which caused problems.
@@TYC365 YES!
@@TYC365 yes Bang PD obviously trusted MHJ in the beginning.....until he realized that she was planning to try and destroy BTS and use the NJ girls to try and make her own company, to overtake Hybe. This is why companies should stop debuting minors.
even if they were not debuting minors, kids usually become trainees at a (very) young age, so they could be groomed anyway
@@ooo_dopaminemaybe trainee age should be pushed to 18-19 (or maybe 16-17 at youngest) and debut age like 21-25. Really it’s not old but we know that would never happen for a variety of reasons…
Yes! the way the new jeans were talking in the live, you could tell they never had a real job before and it bothers me how dependent they are with MHJ.. i hope they realize that they could be just as successful without her 😢
Yup..taking advantage of the naivety of the youth should honestly be a criminal act.
They are going to need soooo much therapy. It’s disgusting.
I only hope Illit and the others who are victims of NewJeans' bullying can heal.
I think now is a good time for all of us to remember that grooming isn’t always sexual, it’s about holding power over someone. That can include things like finances, emotions, or job security.

SPEAK ON IT
It is predatory.

Hybe will not compromise with MHJ and give her a new job managing New Yeans just to appease the members.
You really have a point

The parents are also to blame like the op said
HYBE can follow Attrakt example and sack all the girls and sue them and their parents into bankruptcy. Foolish girls.
HYBE can follow Attrakt example and redebut NewJeans 2.0 with any girls who still want to work and sack the rest and sue them for breach of contract.

This case has been going on for a while, they really have nothing to support "we didn't know".

id just like to add, mhj was aware of this before it happened, and she didn't stop them from doing it. she let this happen even tho she must've known it wouldn't go well, throwing the members under the bus if it meant mhj might get some sympathy back again. im just saying this because i dont even think you can call this "them speaking out", they were just repeating mhj's talking points from their pov.
this would also mean that mhj allowed ador to get this bad rep, aka get damaged, which means there's finally proof that she tried to harm the company, and can therefore be let go, once and for all.
until they get actual help, i dont see them saving themselves from all this. the manipulation sits deep, and they wont get that wake-up-call by themselves. its useless to be "vocal about what's bothering you", if all of those thoughts and feelings were molded by the manipulator.
this is the first video on the subject that actually seems grounded in reality. unfortunately, newjeans sealed their faith with that live. i was already convinced they were the victims before that, but after this, my concern for them grew even bigger. mhj's control over these girls goes far beyond what we imagined. if mhj actually cared for these girls, she'd make sure to keep them out of the mess to save them, but instead she chooses to take them down with her. this is not to say hybe is an innocent participant, but realistically, they just hold too much power to go against them. kpop fans seem to think there's some magic switch the second you turn eighteen and that you magically become an adult then, that's not how it works. these are still kids, legal or not, they are young girls who are being taken advantage of by everyone around them
also crazy how people are acting as if no big idol has ever been blacklisted before. jessica from snsd hello? newjeans are in an even more vulnerable position as they are not even close to being senior idols. mhj knows this, she doesnt care
The girls allegedly decided to do the live stream against MHJ's wishes.
mhj manipulated these girls SO HARD its crazy. mhj literally called them brainless teens, made disgusting comments about them and newjeans went live to get mhj back cuz shes the reason they are “protected”
Min Heejin has outright admitted that she will not encourage NewJeans to renew their contracts. They'll have "spent too long" with her and "need to branch out." Interpret that how you will, but I don't think she had NJ's best interests at heart when she said that.

@protolic7035 I 100% guarantee I'm more of a Tokki than you. People in the community know me and I've been a supporter for almost two years. You're not a good person for seeing children get victimized and used and pretending it's all fine and dandy
i wont even be suprised if the parents are involved in the livestream
i believe mhj is the reason why new jeans felt shunned by other hybe groups, the way she is, the groups's staff members probably advice them to not interact with new jeans because if the girls told mhj about an interaction, the managers or idols fear mhj would go out of their way again to ruin other groups's reputations.
like you I never could have imagined THIS is where that situation would end up.
All I hope is that they're getting the help they needed right now. I feel really bad for them & they don't deserve to be blamed.
Hi, Tokkis! HAHAHAHA, how does it feel to be on the right side of history?
There never was a doubt
You are celebrating so early, even tho there is still no final result. This video isn't defending hybe at all, if that's what you brain dead fans talking about.
Right side?
I wish kpop idols could speak out without something like this happening
i was in a very weird relationship when i was 12-13 and only now, i'm 15, can i realize how innapropriate it was. And it was a woman.
I would like to politely make a correction: You said "former creative director of ADOR and NewJeans" but that's not the case. She is a former CEO, but still remains in her executive creative position. This is stated by ADOR themselves. Anyways, I'll watch the video further now
Didn’t she deny that role?
She rejected that role.
@@chuuislovechuuislife rather than rejected, she asked to be reinstated as both ceo and creative director too
ya know i love these girls and ik they are suffering , i have seen so many opinions about this on tt , and i keep telling people that maybe people would love what nwjns is doing if they didnt mention that witch , sometimes we need to hold people accountable for their actions without hating them , at first i was quite reluctant of them bc they keep showing love for a pedo and im 16 too so i kept thinking no matter what i wouldnt support a pedo but now that i think about it maybe they have been manipulated.i hope they realize that they should stand up for themselves only and not that witch
Right,where are their parents?
Why are they doing lives with staff?Parents should be with them these times 😢
This is so wrong.
aged well
u r probably the only person who supports the girls without supporting mhj and critisizing them without calling them brats and ungreatful.
its seriously so hard to tell if you are doing right or wrong when you are constantly told how you should be feeling about certain situation by an adult who knows "better".
they were wronged by the adults in their lives. their parents included. and it makes me feel sick to my stomach.
i feel so bad for the girls, and i seriously wonder what will happen next.
"Between you and another person
always exactly ten steps.
This is why adult must teach a kid about consequences of their decisions.
Came back here after the hybe issue and while reading the comments i just realize how they hate ador and newjeans not knowing really what happened the office makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah but that doesn't forget the fact that minheejin is a groomer pdf file
It's what loyalty gets you in this business. When you are loyal to someone instead of just thinking about yourselves in this industry it never ends well. It was mhj's concepts and management that made them the success they are. There is nothing wrong with sticking up for her or wanting her direction to continue.
I don't think this is a fatal mistake but a FINAL mistake
It's over for NewJeans after this
Kpop fans care way too much about New Jeans. It's not like the members are going to die, maybe their group but there's nothing guaranteed, besides there are many other groups making awesome music that speaks to our hearts.
@@misterymisterio8778 I'm just sad that their careers are going to end so soon. They had so much potential imo
That is what a fatal mistake is. It will end their careers
(trainee vids leak are a diff story as likely are company IP - if it can be proven that the leaking of these vids led to harm - then you'll have a case - personal injury including mental health for example might bring a case forward)
This isn't a fifty-fifty case as others have mentioned either.
LAW ASIDE:
The fact of the matter is, all adults have failed these girls.
To be fair tho your firm along with any firm would have to prove its hybe…
Yes people assume it’s hybe who done this but they aren’t the only ones who have access to idols medical records and I could argue it’s min heejin who did it since literally one of the claims hybe said against her in the original court case is that was gonna allegedly leak kpop idols private information such as medical records… which so happened to happen.
Hybe don’t gain anything from leaking medical records and had no reason to. However min heejin gains from making hybe look like they mistreat the girls by spreading private information
다른 대다수의 댓글보면서 이걸 이렇게 본다고?? 생각하면서 의아하고 답답했는데 님 의견에 동의합니다. ㅈㄴ용기 있는 행동임 그래서 전 끝까지 응원할것임
Thats true, these girl parents are manipulating them. Because of money, thats their path for a good future. Its sad but its true.
You are totally right, what they did wasn't a good decision and it's unfortunate that their parents are not helping matters. So sad 😢😢
Cause that’s not what newjeans wanted to talk about or their issue
It’s so unfortunate because I like all the groups involved. I hope everything works out :(
Thank you for speaking up ❤ cause the villain (MHJ) is getting away with it and bunnies are mindless about seeing the truth about MHJ.
I just hope Hybe gets them to therapy. The control that woman has over the girls is so disturbing.
Bro MHJ is just a groomer, they need proper therapy. Hope everything goes well in the end.
You always, always say the right thing. Not just politically, but even considering the emotions of all thr parties involved, you are always so straight forward with the way you put your words yet never harsh unlike a lot of youtubers. You deserve a lot of views
as a tokki i... kinda agree with what you say i cant lie..
Maybe I'm wrong, but this is the impression I get
@@4545-q8c Yes, exactly... mhj's 'emergency press conference 3.0'.
If they really get put inside Hybes basement, then I hope that they get at least massive psychological counseling and Idk anything that get's them trustworthy adults in their life, cause as of now there aren't really any I've hea
rd about!
Honestly all of this situation is just so sad
Hybe girlgroup curse is no joke
This video did not age well. Lol 😬
😂🎉
it very much did fym 💀
Is this a joke? I’m truly confused
That’s because no one is on their side when mhj left that’s why they thought mhj is the onlyone who understands them. This won’t happen if they are treated good without mhj.
I think i gathered enough information to believe this is all min hee jin
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 Clown. Everything that woman said was true.
🤡
The Sisterhood is one helluva drug
It's basically the girls are far under manipulation that they're stuck...they can't differentiate between right or wrong ..and the fans dumb too .. the girls and fans are constantly trying to bring the villain who will cause further destruction back into the story..which is not the solution
what makes you think that they didnt know what was at stake? this is literally saying they do not know how to think, what to say, and they are just puppets of mhj, and that idea is reinforced at 3:03 that's enough for me to watch...
A lot of things would lead people to believe that. Example #1: a rogue livestream throwing their opinions into the middle of a scandal.
