His dad reminds me of mine, i should be nicer to my parents, they really are important.
Yes! BE nicer!!
Please, do and it's never too late to apologize for mistreating them.
I wasn't mean to my mom, but I left home early and I moved almost ten hours away (for work). Our health declined, so we only saw each other three times in ten years. Last time I saw her was her funeral before mother's day in 2017, and not a day goes by that I don't regret not trying harder. I don't want others to feel that, so tell your parents you love them. Amen to that! My baby is almost thirty. She will always be my baby girl. I will always be there to hold her in my arms and tell her that I love her .
I came here to say the same! My son is 8, he always says "I'm not a baby mom!" And I respond with, "But, you're MY baby!" 💗💗💗
I have to admit, I cried a bit. My son was killed at the age of 31 13 years ago in an accident, and his baby sister died at birth 43 years ago, so I felt that when he said "My baby boy." Even though he was a young adult, my son was my baby, and my daughter would have always been my baby, too.

Usually this kind of emotional support helps more than medicine. When the brain is feeling down in the dumps, the body doesn't recover properly, but when there is positive reinforcement? We somehow tell ourselves we can do it for our loved ones.
This is why I feel bad for those who die in hospitals alone, with no family or friends who visit. His injuries might not have been life threatening, but he is such a lucky man. Every visit counts!!
As a disabled veteran who nearly died in a horrific accident two years ago, this really touched my soul. As I lay in my car, thinking I was dying - I was able to fish my phone out and call my best friend to tell him what happened. He met me in the emergency room, and I’ll never forget how emotional it was for me (I’m in San Diego and my family is in Savannah). Don’t take life for granted - you never know when it’s your time.
I know an EMT who was riding shotgun one day, and said to his partner "hey, we have to turn around and go back, some guy just smoked three mailboxes and a street sign". They hit the lights, flipped a U-turn, and when they got there, the EMT saw that that driver was his dad....(he's okay now, had a triple bypass)
Thanks for your service hope you’re doing better now

I remember the last words my dad said to me. "I will never forget you". I was with him, holding his hand as he passed. it's hard to describe the feelings at that moment. A total sense of loss, but also a sense of relief because he was no longer in pain. But for me the biggest thing was being with the man i looked up to all my life when he needed me most. There is a song called In the living years, essentially it speaks of loss and regret, not being able to say goodbye. Take a moment everyday to think of all the people you care about. It doesn't cost anything and reminds you of what it means to be human. Remember one day it will be you.

We already live in India.

Not really
For us MUSLIMS we must take care of our parents when they get old. And respect them no matter what they’ve done to us, bad or good, unless they’re asking us to do something against our religion. That what’s written in our holy book (Quran). Alhamdulillah.
This is one of the verses that talked about the parents:
English translation:
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word(17:23)
And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."(17:24)
Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving.(17:25)

Love is a healer
That was beautiful! My family just went through a scare of not being able to locate my brother, and he wasn't answering the phone. I decided to start calling different hospitals and found out he was admitted with Corona. The not knowing, and not being able to go to, and in the hospital with your loved ones is scary and stressful for both sides. I was also crying, but I was extremely happy for them. I love the fact that, I believe, his presence let his dad know that he was safe and loved. awesome!
They raised their children well. Good Job Dad. and Good Job for the son for still taking care of their parents
I agree, this looks like the result of years of good parenting.
Exactly. What most people can’t seem to do these days 😡
I bawled. This was so cool. His boss made it happen. His boss knew his dad needed his son like his son needed his daddy.
That's nice
Great story! Angers me that COVID keeps family from seeing a seriously injured person. They’re not thinking of how much emotional support helps with recovery.
This is awesome! I saw a video yesterday that showed a nurse not being allowed to hold her mother's hand. It was heart breaking. So glad people worked together to make this happen!
Hello Beautiful how are you doing today
