She used to get so much hate because of her relaxed, laid back attitude on the runway, but it just goes to show how good and powerful your walk had to be in the 2000’s to stand out. If she were modeling today, we would be saying she’s one of the best from this generation!
I disagree with your point about her modeling today (if she were starting out her career today). I feel that her walk is very simplistic and laid back, yes, but I feel that it doesn't have that major "it factor" to it...especially when compared to other models that were also similar to her in terms of features, hair color, and/ or ethnic background. However, I don't say this as a hater... I like her walk, her look, and her ability to look more androgenous. However, I believe she started her career at the right time. A time where thin, tall, blonde, White Eastern European models were all the rage. That without a doubt, created the space for her to shine. I mean, even in this really obvious Slavic/ White Blonde modeling era, other White models still had more of that "it factor": think Natasha Poly, Tanya Dziahileva, Raquel Zimmerman, Heather Marks and even Dewi Driegen (who in my opinion looks most like her). I don't think she would be as noticeable if she started off in this current generation of models. Would she book? Absolutely. Would she stand out as one of the best of our time. No, I don't think so.
@@KnijMagz My comment is less a criticism of our current generation of models and more of a compliment to the models from the 00s. You just had to have something extra in that generation because most of them were amazing walkers. Blonde hair, blue eyes and long legs wasn’t enough, whereas today with the body positivity trend, anyone can be a model. That’s why I think she would stand out against the EmRatas and Palomas of today.
After seeing this walk I'm so disappointed in current models. Caroline's walk is very basic. She would not look out of place walking liks this on a busy street. Yet it's still interesting, still captivating. What the fuck are modern runway models doing to walk so boringly? If you're going to have an average walk, then do it like this!
Caroline has PRESCENCE on the runway. Her walk brings the clothes to life, buts it's her aura. That's why Naomi personally asked her to be on the Face UK. She's a hardworker
Such a great relaxed walk. Great figure and versatile love her!
