- Part one of my new series for the season of halloween. I want to look at the tools of the witch’strade for this series, the cauldron, the broomstick, the staff, the wand and a variety of other witchcraft tools. However this is the first one and I could not start this series without looking at something that is such a large part of my life at this time of year, and that of course is apples. But did you know that apples are the epitome of paganism, not only do they feature heavily in traditional witchcraft, but once they are cut open a perfect pentagram is shown. They are wonderful for samhain and in fact most sabbats in my opinion.

My favorite holiday as an adult ever. As a kid it was Christmas because TOYS, of course, with the candy-giving Easter a close second. Growing up as a pentecostal, Halloween was "satanic", so we didn't even give out candy. Now I know better.

Hello from West Virginia, USA (cue Country Roads 🙄). I loved this video! So much interesting information. I was craving apples yesterday and so I went to the market and bought some. I have two young apple trees that are starting to bear fruit, but not enough to store, only four five apples a season. The fairies that would eat any apples I might leave out are the four legged ones known as deer. 🦌 I am eager to view the rest of your October videos. 🍎 🧡🍁🦌🍂

We gather and bring pictures of our past loved ancestors and set on the altar and bring that's persons fav food when they were alive or a recipe that was there's and put it on the table for everyone to share each other's food.
My favorite thing to do is cook favorite foods for my loved ones that have passed away!

I was told that Avalon is in Glastonbury, the Tor, Chalice well, White Spring, ecc
No one knows where avalon is, a lot of people claim it to be in glastonbury, then the Bardsey island off wales, then near tintagel in Cornwall. There are several other sites, but it is pure speculation.
@@GinnyMetheral Avalon - at least for me- is a dimension, a state of mind, a specific vibe... there's no word to explain it. Actually I only know Glastonbury - Ynis Witrin- but thank you very much for your new insight. I checked Bardsley on internet and I appreciated very much.
So what do you do if the fruit in your offering bowl is still there afterwards? Do you bury it? Move it somewhere else? Compost it?
The spirits have taken the essence so you can use it in cooking, it will not be harmful or bad in any way. Just not as good as it could be.
