- It was an honor to gather in Los Angeles last month on César Chávez Day to celebrate Chávez’s legacy as a civil rights and labor activist. I was lucky to know César well and will forever be inspired by his legendary efforts and victories in the fight for farmworkers’ and voters’ rights. He was truly a hero of his time.

I am barely a boomer so my only knowledge of JFK and RFK Sr is through the lens of history. Everything I learned about them confirms that RFK Jr is cut from the very same cloth and is the only one fighting to restore this country to the values they held, and to move this country forward for We The People.

Yes. I've attended four Kennedy functions and ALWAYS meet the most genuine humans. Unfortunately, some older Biden voters crashed the Shanahan event in Oakland and wouldn't cease with their judgement and "name-calling". It's so disappointing the effect mainstream media has had on individuals I assume have democratic minds hiding inside. We continue forward... This movement is real.

More important was the fact that it was the DNC preying on the most vulnerable citizens; the homeless, dangling some cash in front of them to hold a sign. End corporate income tax and you end corporations corrupting our government. Corporations should pay employees what their work is worth and then gross up their pay to cover higher individual income taxes. Our government should represent the people ONLY and that will never happen as long as corporations pay income taxes!
The corporate tax rate was 52% during the Eisenhower years and corporations were flourishing, The current effective corporate tax rate is 27.2%,, roughly half and many, like Amazon pay nothing at all AND reap taxpayer subsidies in the communities where they have warehouses. Regardless of the tax rate, corporations always want more and they shift the burden to the taxpayers while rigging the system against all of us.
The corruption they bring to government agencies has more to do with the profit-making side of the equation than the tax side. They write regulations for agencies to enforce that will increase their profits. They raid the resources on our public lands for profit. They avoid liability for their actions to pad their bottom lines.
And don't forget, it was the corporations who got the judicial branch to declare that they are "persons"". Persons are expected to pay taxes.
Support RFK jr and spread the word. We need him. We need a real leader.
