@Kira Lou Hi! I don’t think you quite understand what I’m saying. Let me explain. The Expiry dates are labelled as Best before, the only items where there are expiry dates are for formula items. I’m saying that you can eat foods that are beyond the Best before dates ( again best before and expiry dates are the same in the context of food that I think you didn’t read properly). Obviously if you’re sensory skills deem that something is wrong with the food then don’t eat it but otherwise if everything seems fine and it’s beyond the best before date then go for it! I hope you understand that people have the basic life skills to determine if food is inedible due to their natural sensory elements and don’t refer to this comment to make a decision or otherwise you have other problems LOL.

Yes! As a Food Technology student, i could say that expiration dates are used to determine the quality of food for a certain period of time! If it passes the date, then the quality must've gone lower! It's okay to eat food after its expiration date as long as there is no weird texture or drastic ingredient change in the product!
