    Best video by far! The way he patiently and precisely broke down each method was perfect! Thank you. Must watch video!

    Neat to see all the options. I remember when people first started using kamados it was interesting to see the chimney and wadded paper approach. Harbor freight has a pistol style hand torch that only costs $25 and does the job perfectly. It lights anything from camp fires to charcoal. Not as hot as your torch here but at a fraction of the cost and gas I can wait one more minute

      I haven’t visited Harbor Freight lately, but back when we were building the outdoor kitchen, I feel like we were there once a week. I’ll have to head back and check it out. That project swore me off DIY for awhile, lol.

      I would love to see a longevity test on the different kamados along with the problems each experience. The green egg used to be the lincoln of the bunch but I've seen primos that surpass the green egg in price but not for sure if worth the extra money

      @@curtisdrakesr4900 I'd love to get hands on with a Primo, but I haven't been able to. You're going to enjoy our upcoming kamado content though...

    Something I noticed rather then you mentioned was there is all different sizes of coals when you poured out the bag - the bag I have is 20kg so pouring was not an option once I broke up the some coals it worked really well

    Do you have to be careful with the chimney to not put hot coals in a cold grill? Any tips for using the chimney with a kamado? Thanks

    I thought I read the instructions when I got my big Joe and it said from a warranty perspective you could only use lump. Not briquettes, not wood. I took it that adding some wood to lump was fine, just not an all wood fire.

      @TheBarbecueLab  8 месяцев назад

      Probably. I wouldn't doubt that's in their warranty information.

    it seems that with the looflighter there is no smoke emission... can you confirm me?

    I have had THREE Looflighters. They all failed within a year or two. Junk. Would NEVER buy another.

      Wow, that's pretty crazy. I have the wired and the cordless here and haven't had any problems with either so far. Admittedly, I've had the wired for about 2 years and the cordless for about 6 months or so, and maybe you're talking longer than I've had these. Are they taking care of you on the warranty side of things?
