I listened to this in 1995 for the first time and still I find that Matt Cameron´s patterns here are just amazing, inspiring for all drummers, these odds rock patterns are just magic .This is his genuine style, I find that with PJ he left his own style a little bit .
Daniel G Around up to about 2002-2003, about the time he switched from Ayotte to Yamaha, his style was very much still intact. After that he purposely decided to simplify his playing, which is a shame because it was so nuanced but powerful and unique to him.
Daniel G......Matt Cameron is the most boring drummer of all time, like a cheesy backing track...his drumming for PJ sucks ass, Jack Irons was waaaaaaay better than Cameron, and of course abruzzizzizzizziiziziizizi was the best!!!
He was full of music its almost extraordinary. Wordsmith , instrumentalist, vocalist and entertainer. I really believe he layne and people like scott and of course kurt gave us their everything .
It's interesting they played this version which I think was written near the Badmotorfinger sessions. Wasn't Superunknown already out when they performed this session?
Yeah, you're right! This is a 1995 broadcast and "The Super Unknown" CD was released the prior year in the summer of 1994 or spring of. I remember hearing all the other songs from the "radio pollution 95 show" on 98 Rock out directly from Baltimore or from DC101 on the FM radio in DC at 21 years old then in all three dates/regions of the DC area regularly.
@@droptheleash1992 ruclips.net/video/v6r3616hOlQ/видео.html it’s really just the chorus that’s different, but I remember reading that Chris sat on these lyrics for awhile but couldn’t find the right music for them.
Wait how is this Fell On Black Days sounds nothing like Fell On Black Days unless for some reason the video started from bridge cause thats not how it starts.
Yes,it's Krist...I've learned this amazing song with my Jazzmaster,it rocks...Fender Jazzmaster sounds so great,I recommend it to every one who wants to learn guitar on a Fender
This the original demos sessions that they shit-canned cos it was, is Terrible! Chris took a few weeks off and came back later with the masterpiece that we now know and love.
Layne Chris Eddie and Krist at Eddies house. Unbelievable stuff

Totally agree with you. He is still amazing with PJ, but you can't see this kind of improvs with them. His drumming is less creative now.

But why 1995? Does Superunknown album wasn't released in 1994?
Gianjakob yes this was a radio show the y did called self pollution radio along with other artists as pearl jam , mad season, mudhoney and others ....

Cameron is a freakin powerhouse!
hahahahahahah a monster!
as always
Layne was in the same room with his madseason homies for madseason . badass. I guess all the greats have been in that room.
Christian Garcia
And, the potato salad was phenomenal, too!
Anyone know where the Self Pollution room was/is?
Brad Herold i believe it was in Eddie Vedders basement.
@@bringbackreagan1 Correct. Ed's house in West Seattle

It's on the superunknown super deluxe album as black days III
Love Soundgarden so much. Cris Cornell was one of the best Musical 🎤 nfluence s I enjoy.

Chris played one of his vintage Fender Jazzmasters here! Awesome!
Actually it was a brand new reissue, it was painted black later. I remember it ended up for sale on Reverb a few years ago.
A galera toda estava aí. Layne Staley, o baterista do Screaming Tress, o pessoal do Pearl Jam e do Soundgarden.... Incrível
This awesome!! Thank you for sharing ❤️RIP Chris Cornell 😇
almost forgot Chris had short hair for a few years lol
wow it sound completely different !
Damn, in the drum, bass, and guitars you can almost hear elements of what would form King Animal’s sound.
wow! thanks for posting this. evolution of an incredible song. this studio looks very familiar!
I think it was Eddie Vedder's house
Mad Season did a show here too (Layne Staley, Barrett Martin, Mike McCready) , its on You Tube
It's insane how they went from a so-so psuedo-metal band into the band they became on Superunknown.
Estas sessões deveriam sair como DVD. No mesmo dia Mad Season, Soundgarden, Krist Novoselic, Pearl Jam e Mudhoney
My top Grunge era drummers (excluding Matt Chamberlain)
1. Matt Cameron
2. Dave Grohl
3. Dave Abbruzzese
4. Sean Kinney
5. Barrett Martin
How did they go from that to the studio version 🤯 Idk which one I prefer.
I miss the anticipation of a new Soundgarden album. Good days
the POWER of a great song

i remember hearing this sessions at the time,(1995) it was pretty much impressing, i was thinking wow next album will be awsome....
The original fell on black days demo was actually what became black rain, it was a badmotorfinger outtake
@@Nictric1 weren't they both (the studio demo of this version and the recording that became Black Rain) recorded at around about the same time though?

Si hay una versión grabada, está incluida en su compilado de rarezas que se llama Echo of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across the Path

This is an earlier version of the song. There’s a proper studio recording of it under the name Black Days III.
Does anyone know if this is a rental practice spot or someone's basement?
I think it was Eddie Vedders house
Good stuff!
Was it Chris Novoselic at the beginning?
Александр Штраух Yes, he is.
Yes,it's Krist...I've learned this amazing song with my Jazzmaster,it rocks...Fender Jazzmaster sounds so great,I recommend it to every one who wants to learn guitar on a Fender

Sounds like Chris singing the perfect song with the wrong band.
How so? I dig it stripped.
