My truck doesn’t come with a OE visor. I want to install a 18” visor. I’m just worried about leaks and that the roof is made of fiber glass should I avoid adding a visor?
We have occasionally run into leaks, but we use window-weld ribbon sealer to plug the holes when we have to drill and add brackets. As long as you use a large enough and high -quality nutsert, you shouldn’t have any damage to the fiberglass roof. We have seen one of these visors come loose and damage the windshield, but it didn’t require any repair to the roof. On that particular incident, the nutserts used were too small to support the visor.
We would have to special order the amber/red dual Revolution lights. We don’t carry them but the manufacturer makes them! Give us a call at 870-735-5033
You’ll get different answers depending on who you ask. Some folks say no, since its not a color used on emergency vehicles. Others say yes, because only amber/red/white are DOT legal. Either way, we always hook the purple/blue/green Dual Revolution lights up to a separate switch and advise our customers that they are intended for off-road use only!
I see guys running across the scales at night with blue marker lights and LEDs and they are not getting harassed. Guessing you don't run coast to coast to see what's going on otr
Pride comes in many shapes and sizes… not all can afford a pete 379 or a w9 with the works. Fleet trucks? Hell yeah because its what makes companies money so why not make money myself while lookin sharp rolling down the interstate!
There was a time petes and kw were the harley davidson of trucking but due to fuel prices and engine makers etc.etc. there ALL throw away trucks. People bought petes and kw's for there POTENTIAL RESALE value. Durability and pride of ownership. That is no longer the case O.G. trucker with over 2 mill. Just my opinion. Enjoy the ride and keep trucking😁
Why would you say it's a waste of time and chrome? You like what you like and others like what they like, and you're wasting your time with negative comments about something that you don't own. Encourage people don't tear them down!!!
I have used every type of connector, from the self sealing with heat to butt connectors and even liquid electrical tape over the entire connector, they all still corrode.
Finally a video of a chrome shop putting together a visor on a truck
I used to drive for Tim. One of the most coolest and down to earth guy, you ever want to meet.
Awesome job guys 👍 love it.
Didn’t see in the video how you did the 4 mounts on the cab when the factory visor had 3 mounts
Hello
What if a truck never came with a visor, can one be installed?
Do you have a part number for the grommets?
Looks good. Only thing that would drive me up the wall is having to look at the wires on the back of it while driving.
I cheated when I did this to the peterbuild I had autozone and cheap limo black tint lol
@@Cubanguy1977, bilt... Peterbilt
@@TheRoadhammer379 got me! My none spelling ass lol
What happens when you got to change your windshield. Do you have to uninstall the visor. ?
Is it possible to install the same or a similar visor on a cascadia without a factory visor. 2016 Cascadia evolution
Yes! This one did not have a factory visor. The mounting brackets replace the original cab lights.
Nice grill. Cost i stalled?
Where are you located I want one to my 2017 cascadia
Thank you for this video I almost gave. Up looking for a video like yours guys......
Glad you found us! Give us a call if you need any help!
Do you have to use the 2 brackets in the middle

Good job by the way ..👍👍👍👍👍👍👍HAPPY EASTER
Where is your shop located ?
Great video! Can you do something similar for a prostar?
We would love to! We stock a Prostar visor, but we haven’t gotten to install many. I’ll add to our wish list!
I'll stop by and check it out next time I pass by! Thanks!!!
Do you all sell that grill?
What size was that drop visor on that purple ride, reason asking I gotta white one and I wanna do visor and 20in one piece bumper
It’s an 18” visor. We don’t have any 20” Cascadia bumpers yet, but we should have some coming in soon!
@ WW
DID YOU INSTALL THE DROP VISOR?
@@EASTCOASTIMPERIAL i never got it, I got rid of the truck, I found another hand to take over the notes 👍
Very impressed
Where are you located
What about all the wires in the back. Are they left exposed? I don’t wanna see wires all the time.
We gather them up and cover them with wire loom. Then attach to the back of the visor and tie them down so they stay nice and tight.
What grill is it?
What was the cost for it sll
Hello. Nice job. What do you do with the original visor? Can I buy one from you?
Usually these Cascadia trucks don’t have an original visor.
Price?
$550 for the visor - lights not included.
With evrithing ? Location? The install to?
That’s just the visor. Lights are separate and we charge $75/hour to install. This particular project took about 3.5 hours to install.
Shouldn't take you 3.5 hours. You just want to make more money. Stop the bullshite and do the right thing.
@@jeremy143bezi Yo, post a vid of your visor installation so we can see how it's done in one or two hours.
Is purple lights illegal ?

People who sells them will said no but just like you and me,we got bills to pay so they need to sell. There not legal on the road while in motion.

Have you guys done a Volvo
It’s been awhile since we did a Volvo visor, but we have.
Any videos
@@GerardoGonzalez-kw6qy None yet! I will let the guys know that Volvo videos are on the wish list :)
Are purple lights legal for the road
I’ll be there
Would have personally put a backing plate so you cant see the lights and wires whilst driving
No matter what you do, cascadia is not a SHOW TRUCK people
It’s a Fleet truck
Yeah, but taking pride in your ride goes beyond make and model.
That is so true
I meant to say that is so true on what a wast that is a fleet truck or what most people would say a throw a way truck after 2 weeks
Good video but could do without the music
It’ll be plastered with dead bugs 2 miles down the road
This is not even a water proof. Wouldn’t last a season!!!!
