Family members that were living in the houses forced out by the state. Family members who she didn't mind living there while she was alive .

      @@HandMeDeals it's such a shame, a will is so important, at the same time kids hating each other over land and money is heartbreaking, I'm in Ireland,my mother was executor of my grandmothers will, she's the youngest but considered the most trustworthy which she was, the older kids never accepted the dividing up equally just because it was my mother, it really makes you think about when we're gone

    So why not do it while you’re alive, so you can see it actually happening. Then leave the kids the rest. There’s no obligation to helping anyone outside of yourself and family(IF you choose to) so helping others is great thing to behold. Granted my kids would get the major bulk of those funds.

    You can send 1,000 black kids to college, put 1,000 single mothers in homes, start 50 different foundations to help inner-city at-risk youth, pay off the debt of another 1,000 college students who just graduated, done a few million dollars to help house and feed homeless people all over America... and your kids would still be filthy rich. You can start a foundation to help whatever cause you are passionate about, and leave some M's to it. And your kids would still be filthy rich. YOU CAN DO BOTH. You don't have to choose. And when you reach a certain level--- you have a responsibility to do both. AND YOU SHOULD DO BOTH.

    02:00 He could have started a charitable/philanthropic foundation and named his kids as board of trustees, so the nearly $500 million could accrue interest and as a family they could continue to "invest in society." I feel that's how a lot of other uber wealthy ppl might handle it with less name value, bc they would be more interested in legacy. Maybe bc QJ has so much name value and has had such an undeniable cultural impact/contribution, legacy isn't a thing he even cared about... his legacy is achieved? It was just money to him?
