The current implementation of the mega menu in bricks leaves little to be desired and causes hours of frustration. That's why I made a template that I wanted to use for my projects but knew it could benefit others. I'm super proud to release this, it has been under testing and reworking for quite some time, so I believe you find this useful for your projects.

Wow! This is a lifesaver. I just bought it and already testing it. Amazing work Nick!
Also congratulations on your newborn!
Thank you Tahor!
Great video and fantastic mega menu template. I enjoyed testing the first versions and have now added the template to my blueprint. Keep up the good work, Nick!
I appreciate all your testing and suggestions you brought!
Love your content. Congrats on the baby, love your optimism in being back into the swing in a month :)
Haha trying to be optimistic. We shall see! And thank you so much!
Welcome back... Well done. I wish you all the best with this.
You are awesome dude and respectful.
Thank you Kareem!
Amazing job, Nicholas! Such a thoughtful and modular approach, too. Purchased it instantly. Thanks so much!
Thank you for the support! Let me know how it works out for you or if you have questions!
Loving it! Works super well, so smooth. +1 on adding logo in mobile menu though.
maan this is absolutely fenomenal. fills the bricks gap in that area ten fold. altho I don't need it at the moment will purchase for sure coming Mon just to support. And everything is so cleanly laid out w scss. wow, just wow. I hope you continue on this path of making custom high level additions to bricks. cheers. 🤙
Thank you! I appreciate the compliment! Hope you find it useful for your projects
Thank you. It's a great backup option for those who needs a decent mega menu for their sites/projects.
A great option for something needed quickly.
Thank You Nicholas, this is a massive time saver. I'm using it on two sites in development right now, clients are impressed.
I'm pleased to hear that it worked for you! would love to see what you did with it!
Sent you a link via your support form@@nickarceco
SWEET!!! Amazing. Thank you.
It's a steal at $20! Thanks so much Nick. Really looking forward to playing around with this bad boy.
Appreciate all your support Stephen!
As always, great video.
Hey farhan! Thank you brother
great work
Nice work , sold !
I believe I saw your order come through! Thank you! You will also find 3 dropdown templates that are newly added in your download
@@nickarceco nice, thanks. I case you are wondering what template could be useful, sometimes ecommerce oriented (search bar/cart/account /maybe with two header containers...) could be appreciated. 😉
Love this menu. Would be nice to have a dropdown within the dropdown and the ability to add a logo to mobile.
those are the two most requested items. Once I have some time to sit down and work on them they will get added.
Just bought it - I like it so far! Questions:
1. Any methods suggested for shrinking the header on sticky? One that transitions logo size and header height when it becomes sticky?
2. I'd like to perfectly align the hamburger and the close button. Right now, they are offset a wee bit.
3. How can I get the menus to close on click outside, rather than clicking the page element behind it?
4. How can i use a button and / or different icon for the hamburger? Maybe a "menu" button or something instead
5. How do we set how far out the drawer slides on mobile to 80% vw?
Answered via email 👍
@pixelstrata I came back to this video and then visited your site.. are you using a plugin or custom code for your scrollbar? It's clean and works flawless on my multiple desktop OS's and multiple devices!
It’s all css. There’s a great generator that you can use here: www.cssportal.com/css-scrollbar-generator/
Thanks for awesome mega menu, I would suggest providing a readme file with this URL inside the zip folder.
Thats a fantastic idea. I will get that added to everyones download.
Looks nice!
Question.. do you have a video explaining how you got VS Code installed and working with WPcodebox and Bricks? I need browser live update on code save in VS.
Oh I don’t have have a way to use them together. I just have vscode installed to open files and edit files. Wish I had a fluid way to use them in tandem with wordpress
@@nickarceco but when you save in VS your browser with site page on it auto refreshes on VS save. Is that a setting in VS?
@@BGdev305 I think you're referring to WPCodeBox? (Nick adds the SCSS here)
@@luke-holmes ahhh yes, you are correct! I didn't know WPcodebox had that browser auto refresh feature like VScode can do. Thanks again @luke-holmes
Have to get it! Nice site btw! 👍
Thank you! Let me know if you do and how it works for you
@@nickarceco bought it. Really well done. How would you do a dropdown within an dropdown (so 2 layered menu -> Services -> Categories -> single services within) When doing it the back button brings you back to the first page not the category subpage in the menu. Ah, nevermind… should have finished the whole video before asking 😅
i bought it, works great. Mobile responsive = 👍👍
So glad to hear this! Thank you for the support and I’m very glad it is working out for you!
I have a little bit of a problem with ".mm__nav-items-wrapper" - defaulting to row - and the mega menu dropdown takes only half of space on the screen
Send me a message about this with the link so I can preview here nickarce.com/contact/#support
I have the one running that I built by myself with the help of your previous video. Any chance of inserting a logo in the mobile top left and moving the back arrow to the right? It does look a little empty when opening the mobile menu. ❤
I’ve had this request a couple of times. It should be possible but would require some custom work. I’ll have to take a look and thinking about making another version to facilitate that. If I do I will include it in everyone’s download
@@nickarceco Sounds perfekt 👌 🤩 will probably give it a try myself too. But I guess I’d prefer a finished an thought through template of you 😅
@ im not quite sure when I would have something like this available. baby #3 has arrived so I've got my hands full!
@@nickarceco yet?
I don't have WPCodeBox. Can I use the Bricks native CSS box for this? Or a alternative?
You’ll need something like WPCodebox that compiles SCSS. I know bricks builder is looking into adding SCSS compiling but not sure when that’s going to be
I believe there is a unvallid ssl certificate on your website
i keep hearing that. trying to investigate. appreciate the report!
With acss support - awesome 👍
is bought !!!
thank you for the purchase andre!
You casually say 'drop the Json in the bricks page but first of all its too quick, in the readme you mention a nav element to be there but its not in the video and for me this is not working. (using Firefox dev) does it need a special browser? Where and how to paste?
Apologies about not responding. I swore I hit send a day ago. Can you send me a support request so I can send you a screenshot nickarce.com/contact/#support
@@nickarcecoNo worries. I found out that in Firefox it does not work but in Chrome no issue.
@nicholas Arce the link is broken
Thank you for letting me know! Looking into why
I find it strange that Bricks users would need to buy a mega menu template. Why can’t they create their own!
I assumed that Bricks users are not like Elementor/Divi/… users I.e they are proficient, but I guess it seems not to be the case.
The bricks users should be able to do this but it takes a ton of work to do. Too much work in my opinion. The bricks team fumbled the mega menu portion of the menu builder. There just isn’t a great way to create a positive mobile experience without tons of extra work. I have another video that is a full tutorial on how to do this on your own. Totally possible just shouldn’t have to do this work.
@@nickarceco thx for the insight, cheers
will this brick my PC? har har har
Yes the JSON file deletes system32 and replaces it with an updated system33 file. Your PC should run like new.
