    I've been under the wrong assumption this entire time that Advanced Themer was a CSS framework so I haven't even bothered to look at it. Boy was I wrong. It completely changes the way that I use Bricks Builder and has since become my go to. I took a deep look at all its features and found 10 of them that I absolutely think are game changers and will help your workflow as much as they will help mine.

      I am curious@@nickarceco are you using AT and AutoCSS? I am not a developer, just someone building my own sites and want the tools to do that properly, and easily! I have Bricks after experiencing the likes of Elementor & Spectra...light and day differences. I have just invested in ACSS too, and it's a great tool but totally bewildering to use just because of the size of the database and the difficulty finding the desired class or variable (and 1500 entries on a google sheet doesn't help!). Seems AT makes that process a lot easier so my question is...Does AT provide enough styling options (and more easily accessed) than ACSS, and is it a replacement rather than a parallel option? Thanks Nicholas, I'm enjoying the channel

In addition, I like the font styling and color options as seen in Advanced Themer over ACSS, but is there a way to use on without having a super conflict between the two as far as naming conventions go? Thanks for this video walkthrough. Super helpful.

    • @nickarceco
      @nickarceco  11 месяцев назад +1

      In my opinion ACSS is absolutely needed. I don't use advanced themer for any of its CSS framework options. ACSS does what its name intends it automatically gets your CSS started with well built variables and classes. The typography settings in ACSS and far better than using advanced themers IMO because I can easily swap type scales with just a dropdown and if I need to override a typescale for a specific typography style I can. You sure could use both. you would HAVE to use ACSS typography because you cant turn it off. You could turn off ACSS colors and use Advanced Themer colors and then create your own variables for whatever you want.

      That’s what that means! Just know it’s not like you will have a license to ACF if you do it that way. It works a little bit differently. The ACF updates are controlled by Advanced Themer. Also the reason it’s not marketed is because I guess ACF highly discourages plugins or themes from making it a selling point.

    use the "Core Framework" or "Advanced Themer for Bricks" or both together?

      I would use them both. Turn off the framework features in advanced themer and rely on core framework for its intended purpose
