I mean.. my challenges are to beat 2-3 Medium KIs on my own but its the same fun it was 8 years ago haha. Love you man, keep it up!

I have a next challange for you: Men of the West againts Men of the East. (similiar like this elven challenge)
In this challenge you will lead united forces of Harad and Rhun(Mordor). You can use only Haradrim, soldiers of Rhun, mumakil and one Nazgul (not Witch King). This nazgul will be Khamul the Black Easterling. You cant use Gollum and all starting orcs must be sacrificed. Sauron has no Orcs in your army so it must be like they never existed so you cant use them to buy settlements. You cant build troll cages, lumber mills( cause they produce laborers) and siege works(cause siege machins are controlled by orcs or trolls). Orc pits are allowed for banner carriers upgrade but all orcs produced from them must be sacrificed. Sauron can still aid his forces with his powers so spells what you can use are: Eye os Sauron, taited land, industry, scavenger and darkness. You must have 5 - 7 opponents againts you. Your primal enemy is Gondor but Gondorians calls for help and Rohan answer. So your opponents are all Gondor except 1 Rohan. You must place Rohan on the map where you want but he cant be next to your base. Of course all enemies must be hard.
Sauron believe you can lead his forces to victory and crush his enemies. Dont fail the Dark lord.
If its too hard you can choose one of these advanteges:
Orc scouts - Sauron send few scout to battlefield before you real forces arrives so you can use your starting orcs without any restrictions and you can build lumber mills. If you dont have any starting orcs you can buy Gollum. Lumber mills cant produce any additional laborrers.
Devastation - Men still like trees but Sauron dont cares when his army need resources and when he dont have any laborers he will use his powers. You can use devastation.
Shadow of the East - Sauron gave Khamul a equipment similiar too Witch kings. You can use Witch King in place of normal Nazgul. (I know I took lot of leadership from you so this maybe help :)

Real talk, you are HANDS DOWN the best BFME1 player I've ever witnessed. Your knowledge and overall understanding of how each of these factions works is astonishing. I've taken a lot of what you say and adapted it to my play in current BMFE games I play. This was an insane challenge and you should be stoked on getting it done in one shot. Truly very impressive, happy I stumbled across this channel a few months ago. You deserve more subs and to see continual growth my man.

By the way, if in the beginning of the game, you do not kill any enemy units (do not build towers), the AI will fill their own populations with only orcs, and have no command points for siege weapons (including Ents and trolls), which means that you can sit in your base forever, gathering resources and killing Nazgul (with Gandalf or Legolas, ), until you are ready to attack. It almost always works for me! Every once in a while they have room for one siege unit, in which case I will send a hero out to kill only that unit (usually Gandalf or Aragorn). It may be a funny challenge to do, tricking the AI like that! If you make it a challenge, you could wait until you have 100,000 resources and all upgrades, before you attack. It might be boring though!

This reminds me of when my cousins did a 1v1 on Fords of Isen and they were both Mordor, they restricted themselves to only using orcs and spellbook powers. In the end, they were just using Balrog over and over again and eventually agreed to give up the match as it was clear no one was going to win.
In this channel , just build orc pits as they are for free and get the money you need from the scavenger spell and outspam the other mordor player and win
@@BeyondStandards Sounds like a hard but doable challenge if you want to try. No resource buildings with Mordor. Spam free orcs until you get scavenger and only use the money from scavenger and citadels to be able to buy units that cost resources. Everything else allowed except the Balrog as a "punishment" for resource income from the citadels. I would suggest at least 5 Hard armies. Map and types of opponents up to you. Probably be better to pick camps instead of castles though if you choose one of the good factions as enemies. Good Luck

Is there a reason he never uses the walls? like send legolas on top to snipe haradrim or something?
When you go on top of the wall, it takes you more time to get back down when you are low which is dangerous, but using the postern gate to quicky go out and in makes it safer

Btw, some people mentionned playing Mordor using only corrupted men. I think it would be a great idea. Only Harad, Rhun, Mumakil and I guess Nazgull, since they are corrupted men.

FYI: the banner upgrade on the walls gives leadership that I think would’ve been allowed for this challenge. Would’ve made turtling a little easier.
The banner on the wall is misleading and doesn’t give you the stats it says… it is actually pretty much wasted money to get it, all it does is given you 25% increased dmg and range and even though it says 125% damage in its description
Why not place legolas on top the wall to shoot the orcs in the beginning?

Maybe the next challenge would be Isengard VS. 7 Gondor armies. From sierge works you can only use bombs and no wargs are allowed as well as Balrog))
well done! Archers in general seem much weaker that in the release version, where they would kill a base in seconds :D
I know it is late to say, but i think if you can use Aragorn because his relationship with the elves, than you can use Gimli as well. He got those hair pieces from Galandriel, stating that by the standards of the elves, Gimli is the most badass non elv in the whole Middle Earth.
It was actually Telchar who forged Andúril. He was a dwarf of the first age.
I am so happy they added an Elf faction for 2. It was getting to the point where all I would do with Rohan would be to build Elves and only use them.

Ah yes. I remember just using upgrated mirkwood archers. Simple but higly effektive. Your Style are a whole different lvl. Damn i miss this game

Hi Shanks, I have a challenge for you if you accept it . In BFME 1 you have to play only with Gondor Soldiers (swordsmen unit) and Trebuchet , Heroes: Boromir or Faramir ( only with sword) or both of them. but if you choose them you dont have a chance use Pippin with Boromir/Faramir. From the buildings you can build everything except: Archery Range , and Stable. If it is too difficult you can buy Gandalf and 2 battalion of Gondor Knights but no more one time only two battalion in the battlefield. You can choose how many enemies you want fight , but no less than 4 (that means 6 or 8 players map) but they only be Isengard or Mordor both of them (its harder I think) on Hard.

Oh, i didnt know you were taking chalenges :) i had one for you for a very long time and it kinda goes with your idea from long ago to do a campaign playthrough.
You complete a good capmaign without ever loosing a battalion. It is ok to lose heroes since you can revive them, but units must stay the alive from the map they were created at, till the end of the game (i guess you can sacriface some units you get for free like starting pesants or refuges at helms deep and shit like that). I guess that sacrifacing lvl 1 units is also fine if you need lets say flaming arrows from archery range lets say, but only newly created troops can be killed, old ones must keep on fighting. I think it coul be an interesting series, not because of that "hard" part of the deal, but because i think it would be funny to see you playing through story but with a little twist so that it is not so boring as it would may be and it would be something new and refresihing on the channel :)
Interestin for me was that evne though you stated you can have only 3 elven archers, you actually didn´t have a third on fielded until 17:05, when also Aragorn was recruited. I am not an expert, but wouldn´t an extra elven batalion help against the nazgul spam?
Also, would there be a good idea to have a Rohan statue next to the well at the back after those nazguls kept coming?
I still play 1.06 find it exciting. Of course 2.22 and from mods Elven alliance and the Dwarf holds (extremely strong Gondor and graphics)

I know its a bit late, but do you know you can "cheese" the command limit? When some units die, u get some points back and until weakened units heal, you can build some more!

You cheated by using your archers (non-elf units) to buy the farms. (Aka they had utility, similar to some of the non-elven powers).
But I still enjoy watching all of your videos and you still have my support!
If only you could add Silverthorns to your elves had been very useful.
BFME FOREVER
Like for command&conquer red alert, Generals, warcraft games etc, it is always great and sad that if you can handle the first wave of artillery° (cata great for killing your few units and then buildings (not your towers and castle cata...) but hard to kill without melee units) mostly thanks to the base towers (°and their support infantry&tanky units - nazgul here) then you can only win as the AI gets passive from that point. (and most of the time, it only use cheap crap infantry, so if you got enough upgraded archers, no threat to you, even nazgul die too fast)
(obviously, the AI builds too many production buildings (siege is great at first but expensive so AI spent all his money on catapults) and not enough economic buildings so after the first failed wave, it can't rebuild another wave even with the few lv3 farm giving extra income - from that point, only cheap free orcs, barely any cata or troll)

very impressive..... i did not think you would manage it, luckily the ai isn´t very good there. they didn´t swarm your base after your "army" was dead and you had no gate
can I give you any advice for such scenarios?
do not kill enemy troops if you have walls.
when you kill them, you free up the AI limit for recruiting siege weapons and other troops capable of breaking through walls.
if you sacrifice your troops, but leave 1 soldier in each group, then you can get an army that exceeds the available limit. you just need to feed the troops of level 1 (so that they cannot restore the number) and leave 1 warrior in each group. then bring them to the well and restore the full strength of the troops.
Why not put legolas on the castle wall initially to farm kills?...
Aragon had elven blood. You could have used him.
