Great video Rooster. What minimum can you get the PEP on AM and SSB since I have a 503HD? I can get the SSB PEP down to 20 watts no problem on my Stryker 955 HPC but on AM it PEPS over 40 watts. Thanks!
future radios will all be on 1 computer chip aka a usb size dongle but no getting around the antenna size just yet maybe laser or plasma antennas in future u turn on and off like a flash light
Why are ‘we” not using the FM side? With all the skip & everybody using 19 AM is really annoying. IMO. Here in the NW I think people just get tired of it & don’t use the CB anymore?!?
Not a fan of the new short chassis radios the size of the 447hpc2 and 6666 is a better size to me the only good on this new 955 is the heat sink which is a better design than the 6666 and 447 hpc2
Hardrive Sherman tuned Stryker 955 best radio ever. All others are spatter box hillbilly screwball window lickers. Ask for NIST calibration certificate. Muduck in the desert. Back to the Bench.
They need to come out with a base station. One of these companies should. Merry Christmas 🎅

I wish they start making CB radio`s in USA, not manufactured in China. Still this is a great radio so far

It has some 2 meter frequencies on the wx band, not just wx channels

@@mattriley6866 using FM on 19 won't help. You're still transmitting on the same frequency, just a different mode of operation
switch to WX then flip to VFO and you can go though the whole band
