I'm 45. First golfed when I was about 8 and played on and off until I was in my early 20s. Haven't touched a club since and out of nowhere I have been craving to golf again so I went with the lower end Bazooka 270 set from Tour Edge. They arrive Friday and I can't wait to play again. I'm so happy to see all the nothing but positive reviews about the company in general. Not sure how long before I outgrow them and move up but I have a feeling I might upgrade to another Tour Edge set based on them being made in the US, lifetime warranty and nothing but good reviews! Just as good as clubs 2-3X the cost is what I keep seeing
Thanks so much Thomas for hitting the E at a reduced swing speed. Great review!!!! Hope you do the same for all GI/SGI irons going forward. Would love to see your 75 mph swing speed with the Stealth and LTDx irons to see what launch and descent could be expected by the intended target audience! Awesome!
Request for a video/comparison…. Would you consider doing a performance comparison between the 2021 P790 irons and either/both the C721 or C722 irons? I really like all of these clubs, and given their similar “target” audience, would be interesting to see.
Recently hit a couple different irons at my local store and these Tour Edge C722 were by far the best feeling ones I tried out. 2nd place was the ping i525, but Tour Edge still felt better. It also felt better to spend half the price! Can't wait to get out on the course with my new set! Tour Edge also has great and fast customer service and delivery times!
I am genuinely stuck on a decision between the two. I am new to golf so I don’t know my numbers but I am athletic and strong. The few times I’ve had someone talk to me about my swing they have said that I swing hard/fast. I’m not consistent with contact but I don’t have any issues getting the ball up as I hit very high naturally. I have a very hard time hitting 3 and 4 irons in general so I use a hybrid for those distances. I don’t know if stronger lofted irons would be for me or not even though they offer more forgiveness. Would love some feedback. Great video.
Thanks for watching! And great detail here. It sounds like the ideal scenario for you is a forgiving iron that delivers enough loft for you so that your distances don't become crazy. One thing you could do in our fittings is order with custom lofts that are slightly weaker. Or, in the case of PING irons, you can order in the "Retro Spec" which allows you to order irons in stock weaker lofts (approximately 2-3 degrees weaker per club). From afar, a game-improvement iron in weaker than standard lofts would be our recommendation
@@2ndswing Thank you for taking the time to answer! I went with the ping g425 from you guys with the 2 degrees weaker option. Can’t wait to get out there.
I currently play the Tour Edge HL4 irons and I like them but feel my game might be ready for a more player oriented iron. Would love to try out the C722.
Those are my speed numbers and I don’t get any where near those distance numbers. I’m getting around 100’ of height and more back spin using a kbs 90 r with the 921 hot metals. Totally confused 🤔
It's due to the way Thomas swings and compresses the ball. His attack angle is very shallow, so he compresses the ball more efficiently and generates less spin because he isn't coming down steep on the ball. Most golfers, on tour or otherwise, have an attack angle of abour -4.5° with a 7-iron, and Thomas hovers around -1.5° in our testing

And this is how a great review is done. Tells us everything we need to know … great job. Brilliant move swinging the C at mere mortal speeds. Perfect.
Most underrated brand in golf!

These look almost identical to the 2021 versions with small cosmetic changes. Are there any changes from C/E 721 to C/E 722?
I bought a set of C722 last year. Liked the club, and feel was nice. Distance is fair. They don't have a lob wedge to go with the set though.

Thomas (triple zero) Cambell, hitting line balls👍👍👍
Would be cool to see you guys each taking shots with the same clubs to determine how results vary dependent on player.
What’s the chart say for landing angle for 90mph club speed?
Will you please compare the C & E 721 to the 722s?

Can you guys please do testing on the new Cleveland Launcher XL irons?
Anymore road to the open videos coming?
Yes! Sorry for the delay. Thomas has been needed more for fittings lately. But we do have one filmed that will be published next week. Stay tuned!
c721 looks better. When do we get to see a head to head between c721 and c722?
A good video Idea would be Comparing a Box Set to Used set

I wish you would have used a 7 or 8 iron. BW 14:58
All iron reviews should include a gapping session with the different swing speeds. Just hitting 7 irons gives us no information about that
I think the e/c721 looked better at the back of the club, but definitely a brand that has huge value for last years clubs.
I’d guess 44-48 degrees
